Recently moved to the area and was trying to find some local places to eat. I drove by this restaurant and went on Unilocal to check the reviews. My boyfriend and I decided to give it try. We went on a Monday shortly before dinner time. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly and knowledgeable. The other half was not as thrilled with the Nacho Grande appetizer. It seemed ordinary. The beef tip sandwich I had order had great flavor and the onion rings with their special dip was to die for.

My wife and I love the White Swan. We eat here several times a month. Great reasonably priced food. Wonderful variety of specials. Outstanding staff of servers and bartenders. The owner really makes everyone feel right at home. Huge bar area with lots of TVs to watch numerous sports at the same time. Good for families(but keep them out of the bar. That’s for adults). My only complaint is that they used to have the best ribs in town, but for some reason dropped them from the menu.

Looking for a place that is not a family restaurant, this is a nice PA Tavern, where you can get good food and drink. Enjoyed our meal, and enjoyed our waitstaff.

We live close to the white swan, and dine in and call out quite frequently. The prices are fair, the owner, bartenders, and waitresses are always nice, and the food is great as well! I enjoy sitting at the bar with friends or going for a nice dinner. My go to is always the turkey BLT wrap — so good!

I remember when the Swan was an extreme dive to avoid. After a couple of false starts, some intelligent ownership has taken over and has changed The Swan in to a go-to destination. We’ve been there twice within the last 3 weeks, and I can’t say enough about the place. The first time was on a Friday evening when my wife and I took our youngest, 15, for a spur of the moment Friday night supper. I had the scallops special which was fantastic. Service was perfect. Tis past Saturday [March 7] I took my extended family there for supper and had a great time. The service was top notch. Stop in!

Felt welcome, service was great. The menu is typical American pub food. Seating is abundant inside. There appear to be three different rooms for dinning and then the bar area that includes several high-tops to sit at. There is parking by the back door of the place or across the street in the school bus parking lot. The drinks are good. On one of our visits they were having a special on mojitos. Apparently, the bartenders were trying to get the drink down to a science when it comes to making them. Not too bad for a first time maker of the drink. I grew up in S FL so I know a mojito. Regardless, it’s worth a try sometime!

Had Old Bay Wings and pulled pork and french fries and mushroom swiss burger, it was great! We sat in the bar and our waiter was also the bartender and did a great job at both. Wings were crispy and yummy, pulled pork was a bit spicy but I like that. If you are passing by stop in the lunch special prices are awesome, $ 6.95! We will be back!!!

Food was good. We shared the prime rib. A bit fatty but otherwise delicious. Service was terribly slow. If you see the waitress you better grab her otherwise you don’t know when you will see her again. Good atmosphere.

I’ve only been there once and will never go back. The man who seemed to be in charge(assuming he’s the manager or owner) was extremely rude to his staff and to us as patrons. When overhearing a discussion I was having about politics, he told me to, «Get out of his restaurant» when he heard my political affiliation. In other words, if you’re a democrat and voted for Obama, STEERCLEAR!

Was very excited when I found out the swan was going to be renovated and reopened. Been I think two years now and the menu has yet to be changed or added too. On that note, the food is not horrible but it definitely leaves nothing to be desired. After trying a few things on the menu the only thing I order is the French dip. I’m a sucker for fresh cut fries and I like them here. Never in any hurry to go to the swan for food. The tap selection is poor at best. Heavy miller light crowd around the bar. Hard to believe that a bar as nicely renovated as the swan is, that its not capatilizing on the craft beer and gastro pub scene. The only reason it gets a third star from me is because they had Troegs. Nugget Nectar in bottles.

We had a very nice lunch. The White Swan was clean and warmly appointed. Service was attentive and laid back making for a relaxed holiday meal. Two of us had the broiled fish sandwich. The flounder was moist and well seasoned and every who tasted them loved the fries. another had the fried chicken tenders and was pleased with the selection. Nothing fancy but no regrets on the choose either.

The interior is very nicely decorated and the service was very nice, although a little slow. The food was terrible. I ‘m amazed by the raves about the crabcake. My friend had the crabcake sandwich, and it smelled so bad the other diners in the room looked around for the source of the smell when it was served to him. A little boy at the table next to us actually held his nose and yelled«yuck!» I had the fettucine in pesto sauce, which consisted of mushrooms, a small amount of fettucine, and a ridiculous amount of sliced onions. All this sat in a pool of green oil. Because I was so hungry I ate most of this, knowing I would regret it later. At 3:30am I woke up retching and was sick most of the day. My friend returned his crabcake after a few bites because it tasted as bad as it smelled. I have to say the server did remove it from the bill and gave us a dessert to take home. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but getting sick will keep me from giving them a second try.

Went here for dinner and drinks with the parents after we discovered the Bull’s Head was too crowded. As someone who grew up in the area and only returns periodically, I was surprised when my parents told me White Swan was a legit eating and drinking establishment and no longer a dive bar. I was very impressed with how the owners have fixed the place up, and the menu they offered. Since we were feeling casual, we just seated ourselves at the bar rather than wait for a table.(Tangent: the bar is made out of broken bottles and is pretty damn cool). The bartenders were friendly and engaging despite what appeared to be a pretty busy evening for them. They made sure our beers kept coming and took good care of us. I ordered the prime rib, with a salad and fries as my sides. I like a salad with or before pretty much every meal, and a lot of my opinion on the meal overall weighs on the salad. Just a weird hangup of mine. Anyways, this particular salad was very good, with fresh cherry tomatoes, onions, good croutons and a sprinkling of shredded cheese. Not a boring salad by any means. We also got a basket of bread with the salads. The bread was disappointing, the rolls seemed like the kind you buy in the bag at Giant, tear apart and throw in a basket when you’re in a hurry. But hey, it’s only bread. Unfortunately, there was a table of 25 in the restaurant at the same time, and it appeared the kitchen was backlogged bigtime. It took over 45 minutes for our prime rib to arrive. Since the bartenders were very apologetic and taking good care of us with the drinks, it wasn’t as big of a deal, but you never want to wait that long for your meal. Fortunately, however, the prime rib was well worth it. The 12 oz. cut was plenty big, and it was juicy and well seasoned. And the fries? They may have been the star of the show. Imagine your favorite fry stand at a local fair or football game(Fink’s, anyone?)…they’re that good. Glad I opted for them instead of a boring baked potato. The only thing that was missing was a splash of vinegar. Easily the best fries I’ve had that didn’t come from a truck. All things considered, this is a great under the radar addition to the area’s dining scene. The atmosphere is great, and I could see this place taking off the way La Piazza has. It’d be a great place to watch the game and enjoy some food and drink. Prices are VERY fair for the quality of the food. Also, it’s nice to see a place that does the simple things right, like the fries and the salad. It surprises me how content some places are to serve half-hearted basics sometimes.(Ok, I’ll ignore the disappointing bread.) The owners here deserve a pat on the back for the job they did in resurrecting this historic tavern. We’ll call it a 4.5÷5. I’m trying not to be too liberal in handing out 5 stars. But I will definitely be back when I am in the area again.

We went and enjoyed the new décor and all the work in rejabbing the place. The food and service were both excellent and I look forward to our next visit.

Pretty good. It dies not have the best layout, tends to be a little crowded and slow. The food is really good though for Lititz. Prime rib is nearly perfect, got mine medium rare and my mother got the end piece to be sure it was well-done…literally cooked to perfection. Crab dip was the best I have had! The crabcake is a specialty there and rightfully so, though the bun was a bit stale and store-bought. Tomato bisque was perfectly seasoned, try it! Overall pretty good, probably the best in Lititz right now, better than Scooters and General Sutters!

We love the new White Swan Hotel. The new owners kept the great vibe of the place while adding some amazing touches… be sure to check out the back lit broken bottle bar! I’ve never seen anything like it. The food is moderately priced but excellent, I especially like their crab cakes. The only thing I’ve had there that I didn’t like was the tenderloin tips, they just weren’t to my taste. The service is friendly and the staff works as a team to serve. They have been a bit of a victim to their own success, though, as the big crowds from opening day have kept the staff hopping. Overall, a great dining experience that I highly recommend.
