Great place to eat! Food and service were above the average diner. Food tastes great and came out exactly like we ordered, without tasting overly greasy! It was very busy, but were seated right away, greeted by our waitress, and got our food promptly. This is definitely our go-to diner.

Stopped in for breakfast(served anytime) two of us were not able to get what we wanted. We picked other items and they were great server could have been a little more friendly

We called ahead to check on the wait and the owner was kind enough to take my name. When we arrived he came over to meet us, took my jacket, and greeted us like old friends. I was instantly charmed! We found the service to be excellent, Aaron was very friendly, helpful, and informative. With three generations of us eating, there was a huge variety of food ordered and everything was excellent! Their buffalo wings were excellent, ranch dressing was homemade, and their gyro — billed as a specialty — most certainly did not disappoint. The bill was ridiculously low for the amount and quality of food ordered, add to that the amazing service and all over experience, and we will certainly be back every time we visit Lancaster!

This place defines Lancaster, PA. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is good. Granted, the diner itself is cheesy as hell. The décor is new construction mixed with whatever was on sale at Hobby Lobby. In other words, not your classic diner vibe as far as atmosphere. The food, however, is delicious if you’re into giant portions of comfort food. Especially breakfast. My favorite is the French toast. Manager always shakes my hand when he seats us. I’m really into that.

Unfortunately, I have to give an updated review of this place. My daughter and I used to go there every week for a «girls night», but no more. The last three times I was there, the service was severely lacking. The first unsavory visit, the waiter had a half tucked, half untucked shirt, didn’t seem to care about his appearance or taking our drink order. The vegetable stir fry special I ordered was so salty, it was like one of those frozen bags you buy at the store with the sauce in a little plastic pouch that you heat up. Gross. Second time, the waitress never came and checked on us, and she seemed like she wanted to be anywhere other than at work. The third time… there was a hair in my food. The same waitress as before with the same cavalier attitude, but yeah, hair. Done. No more. What a shame.

My wife and I love to eat here. It’s nice and open and very clean. The food is good and so is the service. The owner always walks around and greet everyone and make sure they’re enjoying their food. All around good restaurant

We came to breakfast with a van load of senior citizens, many of them in wheelchairs. Any 12 people in a restaurant would be a challenge, we were an added set of challenges, and the staff was very accommodating and helpful to us. We couldn’t thank them enough for the great food, large portions, economical price, and wonderful staff. I want to send everyone out there for breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner, they are worth the trip.

My husband and I had dinner here the other night, and we have no complaints. Our waiter was very friendly and on top of our refills. He had his hands full with some of the more demanding tables, but he managed to stay on top of it. The menu is huge and so are the portions. My husband had a chicken, egg and cheese quesadilla. It was very filling. I had a beef, peppers and mushroom dish and had enough for the next day’s lunch. My dish also came with a side salad. The salad dressing tasted home made! Definitely worth trying!

Very clean, affordable, and diverse. Typical diner fare but good quality. Healthy portion on the boneless wings. The chicken soup was very good. The meatloaf was good. Nice, bright atmosphere. Very pleasant and attentive staff. Lots of people coming in, which to me is a very good sign.

Love this place! Although we don’t get here often, every time we have been it has really good. The portions are huge! When you order soup you get a BOWL of soup. Although the menu is a little overwhelming there will be something for everyone. Prices are reasonable and you get your money’s worth. It is very clean(I think newly renovated). Servers are friendly. Would recommend.

Ok. Very good food, large portions, great prices for the amount of food you get. If you need to call them to ask specials or place a take out order, if they answer the phone before the 10th ring(no exaggeration), they’re gonna out the phone down(even when they aren’t that busy), and you will have to repeat yourself. Check your food before you leave or more than likely you’ll need to return to fix something. And I’m not quite sure why, but they only have their menu on 1 place on the internet, it’s not their own site(Menupix), the pictures they posted of the menu absolutely suck and you can’t read them, and even on their own Facebook page they couldn’t be bothered to list their menu. So you almost need to call them if you’re curious about a menu item, and then you’ll get to wait. Good in some forms, frustrating in others.

My family loves diners; they offer a little something for everyone. Knight and Day is the perfect example of the great selection that dinners have to offer. Although the menu originally was a little bit overwhelming, they had such a wide selection of foods(ranging from French Toast to burgers to pasta) that it was difficult to not find a food that you could enjoy. Sometimes restaurants seem to sacrifice quality for quantity but Knight and Day does not let their standards fall short. My family had a variety of foods ordered(I got the philly cheese steak) and all of them were scrumptious. My philly cheese steak was a large portion for a great price AND it tasted delicious. Knight and Day is a great place if you’re looking for good quality and quantity.

What a wonderful place to have an inexpensive meal! It’s got all kinds of different dishes, which might cause some to doubt, but for the most part everything I’ve had there is very tasty(except the chicken croquets, but in all fairness I was comparing them to the ones my mom prepared for us when I was 9 years old — hard to compete with that) My favorite dishes there are the chicken stir fry(great for when you hunger for Chinese but the rest of the family does not), the jambalaya, and any breakfast. Their sandwiches are all great and the salads are shockingly high quality. Almost all of the servers have pleasant(and sometime unique personalities) and they never seem to drop the ball.

Clean with friendly staff. I got breakfast and it’s a diner so it should be good. The bangle was ok and French toast was ok… So I’m saying its and ok diner. But they’re friendly and clean so that goes a long way.

As you approach K/D Diner, I feel you should be wearing a surcoat, a tunic, or knights armor. You look for hitching rail to park your horse… The menu is, at first, overwhelming because it’s a lot to choose from. I’ve ordered three different plates(omelettes and a quesadilla) the two times I’ve been, for breakfast and they’ve been great! And you’ll definitely take home leftovers — my favorite! Were excited to come back and try out diner! The desserts are seen from two(might be more) display cares. The service is great. Very well-mannered, respectable, gave great recommendations, I noticed one server handle an apathetic and immature customer very well(unfortunately) but kept a great attitude towards other customers. The diner itself is very clean, unlike most, very comfortable, unique interior décor… even has sound absorbing sound panels throughout to ceiling, so you understand what your friend your partner is saying four inches across from you. Remember not to drink really hot coffee before eating(let it cool down a bit), it disrupts your taste buds, not allowing to taste the food entirely :).

Diane was my server & she was FANTASTIC! ! Very sweet & «put up with» my inability to make a decision. The food was PHENOMENAL! !!! The diner has standard diner faire, taken up a notch. The food is well presented. This was not something I expected, nor really cared about as I was going to a diner. Diner food is always smashed together on the plate because they give you so much. …This place has bigger plates.(Still loaded too) The place was extremely clean & well decorated & most importantly to me, well lit! I like to see my food. The reason for the 4 stars? The hostess & the cashier. They are RUDE! I can’t believe I’m thinking this, much less putting it in writing, but, when I was their age, we were polite, well mannered, hard workers. We didn’t stand around gossiping about this persons relationship or that one’s. If I was in management, I’d fire their saucy asses & I certainly wouldn’t put them up front with customers. I would place them back washing dishes.

This was a good honest meal. Knight and Day isn’t your typical diner. It’s larger than most, clean and the service staff is quite nice. I happened to be in Lititz giving a friend a ride and we just Unilocaled for the closest breakfast spot and this place popped up. I got the mediterranean omelette specifically because it had olives. It was a 3 egg concoction that was delicious. Our food arrived quickly and exactly how we ordered it. I can’t ask for much more than that. I enjoy being pleasantly surprised and Knight and Day did just that.
