We tried this place after receiving a menu flyer in the mail a couple of months ago and had a cheese pie delivered. It was decent, so yesterday we thought we’d give them another try and I placed an order for pickup. We ordered a chicken parm hero, calamari and pasta alfredo. All of it was disgusting, all of it! The chicken parm was gross, the chicken was under cooked and very rubbery. The so called calamari was nothing like we’ve ever seen or had, we took a few bites and decided it was not worth the risk to take another bite. The linguine pasta was over cooked and clearly not rinsed after it was cooked, therefore the pasta was clumped together like dried mud. It had clearly been reheated several times over which turned the alfredo sauce into glue, YUCK. The garlic bread that was included with the pasta alfredo was drenched in oil to the point that it collected in the bottom of the foil it was wrapped in. Needless to say, we tossed all of it into the trash… the food was garbage and a waste of money. The only positive thing I can say about CJ’s is that the young lady who took our order over the phone and collected my payment when I went to pick up our order was very sweet. Unfortunately, her cheerful attitude can not make up for the crappy food.

This review based on Meatball hero and Burger Only. I’m from NYC so local pizza is part of routine culture. Been to many different local pizza joints and this place is by far the worst. I had pizza here before and it was just average joe Pizza. The owner seems to be grumpy sometimes but I really didn’t care since it wasn’t a serviced based joint. However, few weeks ago I ordered meatball hero w. pepper and burger w.fries. Meatball had no flaver, tasted flat, green pepper was undercooked. Burger was plain, tasteless, fries were soggy and disgusting. It is difficult to make bad burgers or Meatball unless you really give a xxxx about what you cook. I don’t usually get unhappy after eating a meal but this place will make you regret that you ever came here.

CJs is always a treat. I can’t speak of any of the other food, but the pizza is delicious and always keep me coming back for more.

My family and I have been ordering from CJ’s for a few years now and have had problems here and there but things always improved or so I thought. Last night we ordered our usual, which for my father meant a steak sandwich. Rather than inform us they were out of steak over the phone or when my dad picked up the food they allowed him to take it home to find out the sandwich they had prepared for him was a cold roast beef rather than the steak sandwich we had ordered. When we called back it was then the person on the phone decided to inform us they had been out of steak. It seems someone though it was okay to just make a random sandwich and hope we liked it rather than just say«Hey, we’re out of steak, sorry» at any given point. I understand mistakes happen, we all make them, but to me this is just showing very little care for your customers.

Not going to lie when we first started coming here the staff was rude, so we didn’t want to try them. But I guess she was just having a bad day. Now we order from here at least twice a month. Great pizza with a great price on all their food. Calamari, wings, pizza, calzones all amazing food.

Italian sub is fantastic. It’s not super-stuffed but just the right portion of meat, cheese, veggies and bread. Light on the o&v and oregano, just a tasty balance!

I was a frequent customer of this place until today. I call to order the same thing we have ordered for the last two years. The kid who picks up the phone doesn’t know how to ring up a item. She asks for help and I can her a older female associate tell her to just tell him we can’t do it, which is then said to me. At that point I notified her that I have been ordering the same thing for two years. I can hear the other female actually tell her to hang up. This is completely unprofessional and people like this shouldn’t run a business.

This place is not for the faint of heart. The food is good, but I’m sorry… I go to pick up my food, and the guy over there is making a pizza. No big deal… He stops what he’s doing and comes over to take my money, one problem… his hands were covered in flour. He took my money, gave me my food, and if I didn’t debate to grab a soda, I would’ve missed it. I turned my head and the guy goes back over to the pizza and sticks his hands back in the dough. Are you kidding me? You just touched money! That didn’t stop me from going back, because I figured, the food is good, and who am I to judge a place so harshly after just one visit. I go back again the following week, and it seemed like the whole family was working that day. Everyone was touching money and working with food, and on top of it… I go home, and there was a nice hair in my pizza. Come on! The food is really good, but the place is not clean.

Is just a little take out or delivery pizza parlor with no tables but it has a very good pizza with a flavor-filled sauce and a crunchy crust.

Ask for your pie light on oregano and well done or expect raw dough with a jar of oregano on it. This place’s saving grace are their calzones and that they make zeppoles.

A wise man once said, «Everyone has a game plan, until they get punched in the face.» That wise man goes by the name of Mike Tyson. My game plan was to order a cheese slice and a Sicilian slice. I ordered the regular slice first. I fold it, I can tell it’s going to have a nice crunch. I take a bite, and then I spit it back out. That slice was lava hot and I wasn’t prepared. I let it stand for about 3 minutes, then I took my next bite. Nice mild sauce, good amount of cheese, nice crunch. But the crust was a little thick and the cheese was a bit salty. The saltiness may not be picked up on by the novice pizza eater, but for an enthusiast like me, it brings the rating down a notch. There isn’t any seating inside so I ate the slice in front of the pizzeria. I didn’t order the Sicilian because ¾ of the roof of mouth was burned. I’ll make a return visit and edit this review. Don’t get punched in the face…
