Palermo’s Cafe and Bakery

Visited this place on Saturday for a lunch pick up order. The place is beautiful nice environment and the food was amazing service was great as well. The pastry I got was not what I expected. However I will be going back to eat there again. I got cutlet panini and my hubby got meatball panini. Delicious!

Red velvet cake was a smash at my daughter’s 1^st Birthday party! The minnie mouse design was done beautifully. Just wish they wouldn’t charge a $ 35 delivery fee for a short distance. I picked up the cake myself. Otherwise, would go again for a future fancy cake.

I had the best customer service experience with Palermo’s. I am planning a bridal shower in Weehawken and was recommended to Palermo’s by the venue. I sent a message through their website. Kevin called me less than an hour after I sent the message. I had provided a budget in my initial request, as well as a picture of what kind of cake I wanted.
Kevin did not try to sell me into getting something more expensive and really worked with me to stay within my budget and still get the design I wanted. He provided great suggestions and insight, such as replacing black fondant with ribbon and using buttercream roses instead of gum paste flowers.
He wasn’t pushy — instead he was helpful and did not try to rush me, which is the typical service I get when I call bakeries. I appreciate his candidness and his wonderful customer service skills and personality.

Café and bakery downstairs. Restaurant is upstairs. Dining room very small, You can hear everyones conversation. Ventilation was not the best select smelling like fried food. Restaurant served complementary starter appetizer breads. Service staff very friendly. Food was very good but the dessert was delicious. Will return to bakery and will try brick oven pizza next downstairs.

Everything is brand new! I think this location has been open just about three months now. Super clean and super welcoming!
My first time here, my husband and I split a specialty pizza. It was cooked well and nicely seasoned! We sat at the pizza bar right in front of the brick oven, so it was like a dinner and a show! Not in the mood for pizza, have no fear! They also have paninis and salads!
Sweet tooth?! Well you came to the right place! They have a huge selection of pastures, cookies, Danish, etc! They also have an espresso bar AND they serve beer and wine! Perfection!
Great hours as well! Whether you want lunch, dinner or dessert, you can’t go wrong at palermos!
