Getaway Adventures

We all enjoyed our tour. We made our reservation a couple of weeks before visiting the beach.
There was 5 in our group we all had a good time. Our captain was very friendly, she and her first mate had snacks an drinks very cheap so no need for a cooler. We stopped on our way out of the Inter Coastal Waterway to look for shell’s and a walk on the beach. Our skipper than found a shrimp boat out from Ocean Isle Beach that had a bunch of Dolphins following close behind. Pretty cool trip, the boat is very clean and all the guest where friendly. I’d like to go back again and tour Little River more. Check it out.

Awesome tour– on this getaway we stopped on a small beach to collect shells. We then went to look at Dolphins– we were able to find them and had a great time. What makes this better than the other local dolphin watches is that the service is great, captain is friendly, snacks and drinks are inexpensive, and it’s a small boat so everyone can see and people are not pushing! You can also find coupons in books or at crab catchers restaurant!

My husband, 2 YO son and teen daughter took a trip on this cruise this past week on Getaway Adventures. I can’t talk highly enough about how much fun we had on this cruise. The boat was the perfect size for going out to see the dolphins (and we saw plenty of them). The owner, Michelle went out & beyond to make this cruise successful and a lot of fun for everyone by having the Easter Bunny drive the boat. My little one loved that. Who knew bunnies can steer a boat. LOL Kim, the tour guide was amazing. She was so kind to take pictures for all the families. They both have great knowledge of the history of the landmarks around the area. We stopped off at a barrier island to go shelling for about a ½ hour. So worth the money (and don’t forget to tip them cause they were THAT AWESOME). I highly recommend this cruise to EVERYONE!!! My family look forward to going next time we’re in Myrtle Beach.

We had a great time on the dolphin cruise. The boat is clean and a nice size so there isn’t a huge crowd. Staff is lovely and the captain let my son sit in his chair and toot the horn after we got back. 2 hours was the perfect amount of time to see lots of dolphins and then stop to relax and pick out shells on the little island (I forget the name). Beautiful scenery and ocean life to see with plenty of photo ops! Our family enjoyed it very much and we range in age from 3 to 63.

This was absolutely the cleanest boat that I’ve ever ridden. The dolphin tour was spot on for my toddlers. We cruised up near a shrimping boat and the dolphin were feeding on small stuff filtering through their nets. The dolphins were swimming all around the boat. The next stop was on a small island to collect sea shells, sand dollars, etc. Again, my kids had a blast, and it seemed that other adults enjoyed it, too. The crew was super nice and knowledgable, and kept things fun and moving along for the few hours aboard. It was relaxing, educational, and exciting for a short adventure.
