All My Sons Moving & Storage of Little Rock

All my sons did a great job. Crew was on time and worked hard to get me moved in a good amount of time.

I recently made a move from Arkansas to California. Thinking I had done my «research» I chose All My Sons Moving (AMS). On the phone they were friendly and professional. Before I made my final decision they called me aggressively to secure my business; which they ultimately did.
The two men that packed and loaded my things were in a rush (though I was not). Though I could not adequately supervise their every movement, I did point out when I felt that my things were packed or wrapped inappropriately. I requested an in-​person estimate but was told by Aaron that it was not required «we never underestimate». I was also told that any item that was dissembled for the move would be reassembled upon arrival at my new home.
A portion of my items had to be left behind due to lack of space in the moving truck. This was particularly amazing because after we arrived; I found that two wardrobe boxes were filled with nothing but packing pads. I was not kept informed of the progress of the truck during the move so I could time my arrival or arrange for someone else to meet the truck at the new location. I found their location after they broke down on the side of the road and I passed them. A new truck had to be secured and my possessions moved from one truck to another. It appeared, based on the condition of my possessions, that they had to throw them from one truck to the other. There was complete destruction of my desk (literally it was broken into approximately 20 pieces). So many of my things were scratched and dented; I gave up trying to quantify that sort of «minor» damage. They also completely lost my printer. Never an explanation provided.
The only items that were reassembled were my bed and my dining room table. The reason that they gave was because flight arrangements had already been made and «they could not stay there all night». The damage that was incurred I estimated to be in the range of $ 5,000. This does not include my time to replace and repair the items that were unusable. I also had to pay approximately $ 1000.00 for assistance to move and reassemble items that were AMS’ responsibility I called the company almost every day after my move to locate hardware for putting together a bed and garage shelves (one of the movers left it in his tool bag that was left in Arkansas). The repeat recommendation from AMS was to go to a hardware store and replace it; never was their responsibility for losing the items acknowledged.
Most striking was the change in tone of the company after they had received a payment of over $ 18,000 for this move. Suddenly they were impatient, brusque, derogatory, and patronizing.
My advice; 1. Do not use this company 2. Insist that packers move methodically from room to room as a pair so that their work can be supervised 3. Insist that each and every item be wrapped individually 4. Insist that every box be filled with items or padding to avoid damage from friction during the move. 5. Insist upon on an in-​person estimate. 6. Do not use this company
They have offered me $ 500 as settlement. The settlement letter stated «they are taking measures to ensure that their staff conducts themselves in a manner that reflects the high regard that they have for their customers». Aaron (my main point of contact) needs lessons in communication (listen more than talk, lose the sarcasm) and professional conduct (prompt follow-​up), and sensitivity training (people that are moving are going through a very stressful time).

Had a move scheduled with them weeks in advance and took off work for the move. They called the day before and told us that they couldn’t do it and we’d have to push back a day, even though they had called days ago to confirm the move. I was understandably unhappy at having to take off more work, and Aaron just said «Hey man, can you get past it?» Luckily another moving company was available the next day, so we canceled.

Never had a better move! Ed and Greg were very quick and professional. Would definitely recommend All My Sons! Office staff were quick to respond to my on-​line inquiry, and followed up with me to my move date.

They broke 2 pieces of furniture and knocked 2 holes in the wall. It was supposed to be $ 155 per hour for 3 men, but they also added lots of extra charges for quilts etc. which was in the small print. I had to file a claim for all the damage.

Just saw a moving truck make an illegal uturn in the middle of an interstate intersection popping the truck up on the curb in the process and endangering countless vehicles. I feel bad for whoever’s stuff was in there. I know after seeing that, I wouldn’t use them for my belongings.

This is the most unprofessional bunch of worthless fly by night operators you would NEVER want to do business with! We had them booked for two months for a move from Arkadelphia to Memphis. It was a Sunday pickup and a day drive and an unload on SUN/MON…they just called, MON prior to a SUN move and cancelled the entire move. They cancelled the SUN move, said they miscalculated the price and doubled it, wrong number of people, wrong number and space of trucks and then told me they thought it was better if we just didn’t do business together… they are worthless, the entire family operated business is worthless and you should never ever do business with them… if you know someone looking for a moving company do not chose them, run away and the entire family owned operation is pitiful, if it was my family name on the line I would s embarrassed to be involved or associated with them… the most unprofessional slip shod operation I have ever seen… the entire family is dishonest and a bunch of out right liars! They deserve 0 stars and I will be calling my friends, posting on Facebook, and calling the BBB immediately!

Negative a million! I called them 3 months before my move, got an estimate and scheduled the date for the move a month and a half ahead of time. On the phone they were great. The day of the move they were supposed to show up between 2 & 4 (cause scheduling so far in advance equates to getting a late moving time). I then received a call from the company at 3:30 informing me that they would not be able to move me. WTF! I hung up and they then called back and claimed they found a group of movers. They showed up at 415 and it took them until 715 to finish. The company called me at that time and told me they would not be able to unload the truck due to the time. WTF! When they returned the following morning and unloaded 6 pieces of my furniture were broken. I only received a discount of the hourly rate of $ 10 and was told by the owner Aaron that I should be happy with that because I «at least had my furniture delivered and it went well in the end.» The claim process for the damaged furniture is proving to be just as difficult as the move. It is all done via mail or fax and you can’t talk to a person until they contact you after they’ve received your paperwork. Finally, I received a «thank you» note signed by the very douche who dealt with my move, Aaron. NEVER USE THEM!!!

I’m thinking the same as the previous person. I would like to rate 0 stars. I was WAY over charged and when I kept pointing it out they kept repeating that they read me their charges, which they did not. Then they damaged my couch and refused to pay to repairs. the couch was brand new and the movers said the damage was already there, I watched them and told them when they were moving it they were scratching it.
