This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. Very pleasant employees. Managed well. Fresh mild sushi. Mango California roll is very tasty! Vietnamese chicken salad roll is always delicious. Lomein with chicken and pei wei spicy are our favorite entrees!

Why don’t people like Pei Wei? It’s delicious. And reliable. I always order Dan Dan noodles with extra veggies– never been disappointed!

I feel like every city that has a PF Chang’s should also have a Pei Wei, but for some reason they don’t and I’m not sure why that’s the case. So Pei Wei is the ‘fast food’ version of PF Chang’s only it is not fast food. The concept is different, so I encourage you to visit. Basically, when you enter there is a huge menu located on the wall. Many of the items are the same as PF Chang’s only cheaper(way cheaper) with smaller portions. Customers approach the counter and place the order and wait until the buzzer indicates that the food is ready. You can seat yourself and enjoy your meal. They have a special door and entry for takeout orders, which many of their orders are takeout. On my most recent visit, I ordered orange peel shrimp, shrimp pad Thai and crab wontons. I didn’t like their version of the orange peel shrimp. The other two items were good. On my following visit, I ordered shrimp fried rice and crab wontons again. Overall great place with a heavy rotation of customers.

I did an online order because my wife was in the hospital with our newborn child, and I had about 30 minutes to run and get us something other than the hospital food we had been having for a week. I have dined in at Pei Wei plenty of times, but have never done take-out. The order was to be ready at 8:30 pm, so I arrived at 8:30 pm. They charged me for the food, said it wasn’t ready yet, but a small wait I could deal with. The take out area was steady, not overwhelmed, but they had 3 employees to handle just that section so I thought it would go smoothly. About 4 other people were waiting before me, and a few came behind me. After 20 minutes of waiting, the manager asked the name on my receipt and I told him, he didn’t really go check on it, but he said here is a discount card for a $ 1.99 for your next visit, as he had seen me setting there so long. He then gave another customer, who had not been waiting near as long as I had, a glass of wine. After waiting 30 minutes, everyone else was gone except me. They asked what the name was on my receipt again, and then went to the farthest area of the take-out section, and found my bag which had been there the whole time. They had never called my name or anything, and didn’t find it when I arrived. They slowly handed me the bag, I looked in it and it was my food, but it was cold because it had been there so long, but I needed to get back to the hospital, so I took it. On the way out, the person who had asked the name on the receipt said she didn’t see my name on the screen and asked had I paid for the food, even though she had just asked what was the name on the reciept. I said yes, I had paid for it, and I left.

I love this place. I don’t know what they put in the food that has me coming back and unable to fight the cravings but okay … I’ll take it. I’ve always gotten the same thing Thai Dynamite with chicken and fried rice. It’s simply good. That’s all.

I love this place. Despite the occasional order mix up, long line, or unenthusiastic employee(but always kind), I never have a terrible experience here. Pretty good food, too! On another note: I left a valuable ring in the bathroom once and thought it was gone forever. However, when my friend called and asked about it, an employee had found it and turned it in. The general manager was so kind about the situation and I picked it up the next day. I really believed that someone had probably taken it or whatnot – but nope! Some good folks work there.

My girlfriend and I used to come here a few times each month. On the wall, there’s this b&w picture of a boy with an ice cream cone that I refused to look at because she said it was there but I didn’t believe her. You know how it works. Anyway, the restaurant is 3D: polished glass menu screens and polished tables and polished touch screen buttons on the bubbly soda dispensers. I was always tempted to sneak a soda into my water cup because the machines and the staff seemed so easy to fool. But not the owner. In fact, she gave me a free soda for standing in the pick-up wait line for two seconds longer than usual, and I STILL think of how I could have modified my gesture of gratification beyond a «sure!» and a shoulder shrug. I can’t call it stealing if she’s smiling right at me. What kind of bone and light and bark are people like her heritaged from? After each meal, my girlfriend would openly request we crumble open fortune cookies, the closing ritual of unfurling the paper-pearl of both wisdom and one or two-syllable words of the Chinese language. I kept them all, but I’m nowhere near remembering the Chinese word for bed. Nor how to properly rest in one. My mom taught me that joke: «in bed» after you read every fortune, an addendum to the magic. I introduced her to pei wei. That was near my graduation from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. We had Pad Thai. I don’t remember if we talked as much as we should have. I feel like maybe I was avoiding something. Like Q: how am I going to make it to California for grad school? Or, Q: is this really happening? A: I don’t know. A: But yes, it is. The Chinese word for tightrope.

My food was tasty — shrimp california roll and wonton soup. Average pricing. You can order online easily — thank goodness. The menu is fairly extensive and the lighter options are a plus. The takeout counter is quick and the two black girls working there were really pleasant(I don’t know their names).

Pei Wei has quality food with quick and friendly service. The atmosphere is exciting and comfortable. The menu is full of different tastes and variety. Great place to experience with friends and family. I recommend the Mongolian steak, crab wontons, and lettuce wraps. Good food, good service, good restaurant.

Went here earlier today for a late lunch. The place was pretty packed but we were able to get our orders in fairly quickly and get our drinks and sit down. Our food came writhing around 10 mins. I ordered a small bowl of chicken fried rice and the person with me ordered the pad thai small bowl. My rice was good. Nothing great and amazing but for the cost it was good. The pad thai was about the same. If your looking for decent quick Chinese food that isn’t a buffet then this is the place for you.

My wife and I were in Little Rock for a conference. We had eaten here before and wanted to try it again. I had the Honey Seared chicken and she had the Orange Peel chicken. The food was served hot and was good. My wife said the Orange Peel chicken did not have the same citrusy taste. Remember it is a chain restaurant.

Great dinner. The service and the food couldn’t have been better. Definitely will go back next time I’m in Little Rock. Ken Price and his staff couldn’t have done a better job!

The Pei Wei concept is great but the food and atmosphere are poor. My wife ordered sushi and found it lower quality than what is available in a local grocery store. I ordered pad tai which arrived 15 minutes after the sushi and was over cooked to the point the noodles were gummy. The restaurant was noisy and tables very crowded together. I will not return.

Pei Wei is owned by PFChang do if you like PFChang you should like Pei Wei. We were greeted as soon as we entered the restaurant, the waitress was patient while I chose my meal. I had teriyaki chicken and fried rice. Everything was cooked to my specifications and served hot. The drink selection is large and you serve yourself. A manager was in the dining area and talked to everyone making certain we were happy and had everything we needed. I would definitely go back for lunch or dinner. Parking is limited but the food is worth taking the time to look for parking.

Pei Wei is the Cadillac of fast food options(along with Chipotle). You don’t have to be in a hurry; you can sit and leisurely enjoy your delicious, flavorful meal. But, a patron is also able to get in and out — quickly, if necessary. Pei Wei is a scaled down and«express» version of PF Change. Basically, it offers a menu that is a conglomeration(rather than fusion) of many various Asian cuisines… but mainly Chinese(i.e. — Kung Po, Mongolian). Everything on the menu is worth trying, in my opinion. The restaurant uses fresh ingredients and every item is rich with flavor. The staff will also modify/customize orders for patrons. For example, on the battered chicken items, request the kitchen to add extra potato starch, which will make those nuggets of chicken more crispy. If any reader would like to try a recommendation, then let me suggest the Honey Seared Shrimp(add extra bell pepper and carrots) and/or Chicken Fried Rice spicy, add extra potato starch, pineapple and bell pepper. Enjoy the feast!!!

This was my favorite place to eat, now it has gone way down hill. Not sure if just bad night or what. My wife and I ordered our meals and went to our seats, my wife’s meal arrived and then about eight minutes later they brought mine. I ordered Orange Chicken with Brown Rice, the Rice was dried out to the consistency of Fried Rice(but it wasn’t) and my Chicken was burnt. They use to have plates and napkins at table, not any longer. This is far from the wonderful establishment it is to be and will not be on my list of places any longer. So sad, I loved this place.

On our way from Paragould to Hot Springs, we stopped at Pei Wei in Little Rock. This was our first time eating at a Pei Wei and it won’t be our last. The food was great — the Szechuan green beans are amazing and the pad thai is addictive. Not only was the food fantastic, but the service was above and beyond. When Sara, the manager, felt like our food wasn’t getting to us soon enough, she personally brought it to us and apologized for the delay. Considering how busy the place was, we really didn’t have to wait long for our food. The manager as well as the servers were all very personable.
