Everything is cooked to order. Veggies are fresh. The bahn mi sandwich is as good as any I’ve had anywhere, maybe better. Bread is fresh and crispy, fresh veggies and for 3.50 the price is amazing. Servers are friendly and very helpful with the extensive menu.

I’m in deep like with this place. The menu has something for everyone, just read it and see. 5 of us came in, ate our fill and still left with to-go boxes. They feed you like a parent who thinks«you’re too skinny!» I’ll be back for sure.

Wow! Be prepared to struggle on more than one level: amount of food, options are so deep, and not to moan with each bite. Atmosphere is fun. They have Top 40 playing at a good level. Lots of seating with many long tables for larger groups. MEETUP opportunity anyone? I am told they have secret karaōke after closing hours. I am determined to get in on that action.

Despite the seemingly shady location and the former club-esque interior, Mike’s is the place to go for an amazing variety of authentic Asian foods! The Spring Rolls are a crisp and refreshing appetizer, which you will need as it takes at least 10 minutes, probably more, to go over the vast menu. I tried a bit of everything my group ordered, and was pleased with it all. Our server was super helpful in describing the dishes and making recommendations. I love seafood and was really pleased with the mountain of noodles that came with my Spicy Shrimp dish. This place is similar to Saigon(a Vietnamese et al. restaurant in Conway, Arkansas), except they play pop music instead of the traditional music you normally hear in Asian restaurants. Great experience, I can’t wait to return! This is a perfect place for groups.

H4… H4…H4…H4…Did I say«H4»? Seafood Phở! It’s the bomb diggity! Shrimp, crab, noodles & all the other yummy stuff in it makes for a filling meal without that heavy feeling. The only reasons I didn’t give them 5 stars was the service was lacking when the restaurant wasn’t busy. I’ll update it to a 5 if my service in better next time.

Vegetable tofu was the best I’ve ever had. What a gem this place is! Seems very authentic and like all the ingredients were made from scratch. Super friendly staff gave good dinner recommendation. My new favorite place!

Right off the bat– the food is solid, portions are massive, prices are amazing, and there are a bucketload of options on the menu. Our service was prompt, our table was clean, and it’s pretty awesome looking inside! So, why three stars? Well, it’s something of a greasy spoon spot, the menu is mostly in Vietnamese and can be a little hard to navigate(which is a sign of great food! But is a barrier to getting it). That huge menu is also a bit of a liability, because not all options are created equal. Some of it’s amazing, some of it’s just… food. So it takes a few trips around the different options to find a favorite :) And, the location. It’s down on Asher, south of UALR, and it’s a small strip parking lot off of a busy part of the street, making it hard to get in and out of if it’s busy. That said, I would heartily recommend it to anyone looking for Phở, or any other real home-cooked Vietnamese or Thai food! It’s also open fairly late, and the interior is both enormous and pretty cool, with big lodge-seating in the middle and booths on the edges, including raised window-side booths that are awesome on nice days.

I love Mike’s. The prices are great, the staff is friendly and the food is incredible. I can’t speak for the Chinese menu items, but the Vietnamese food is authentic. I have spent time in Vietnam and this is as good as what I tasted there. I’m so happy to have this in LR! ETA: Vietnamese iced coffee is great and you can request it to be made more«bitter» or «sweet.» The wait staff is very accommodating and want to make sure you enjoy what you get!

So glad to find this place. My wife and I went out of our way while driving through Little Rock to try this place and we were so happy we did. We ordered a bunch of food cause we really were hungry but wanted to try several things. Here is a list of what we ordered and what we thought. VN Spring Rolls: the rolls are very big and good. The dipping sauce is not my favorite. It is a little thin and has a little too much fish sauce in it for my taste but I am guessing it is closer to traditional. BBQ Pork Bahn’ Mi: the bread was nice and crusty. The Pork was sweet and tender and the pickled veg was good. The veg was a little different than I have had at other places. Not better or worse just different. This is definitely a WINNER! My wife had the Shrimp Chow Mein with soft noodles. She loves it. I tasted it and loved it too. The portion was huge. WINNER! I had the Lemongrass Beef: this was wonderful. The beef was very tender and tasty. WINNER! Talking to the waiter I told him I usually judge a VN place by their Phở’ Broth. He was nice enough to bring me a small bowl of broth to try. I must say it was wonderful! I will absolutely be ordering Phở’ on my next visit. If you get the chance, give this place a try. Your tastebuds will thank you.

A work in progress. Service IS good and friendly, as reported. The spring rolls were fresh and delicious, as reported. My pork and egg roll vermicelli salad was excellent, as expected. They have a nice(albeit small) selection of beers, including Singha. Score! I continually asked about levels of spice in dishes, so my waiter brought a chili relish tray to my table. Score! The menu is extensive and everything looks/appears to be fresh and delicious. I am looking forward to returning and trying their Tom Rim and their Sate dishes. The only detraction from lunch was current popular music, played quite loudly. I frickin despise that crap«Hey!» song, and not very fond of Mumford and Sons, but had to suffer through both played rather loudly. Oh well… The restaurant is clean, well kept, well laid out and rather upbeat in décor. Parking for the restaurant is at a premium and posed a bit of a challenge. Nonetheless, a nice and welcomed addition to the ethnic-cleansed options in the Greater Little Rock area. I look forward to a return visit!

Three of us had lunch at Mike’s today. We ordered the following spring rolls: tofu, shredded pork, and shrimp. All were delicious. The pickled vegetables today was cabbage lightly pickled & very tasty. The deep fried tofu appetizer was absolutely scrumptious. We devoured it in short order. Then we all had Banh Mi sandwiches. There was a slight mix up in the order & we all got pork. Which was okay. The bread was light and crusty & the filling was just the right mixture of meat and veggies. We left pleasantly stuffed. The Phở’s pretty good too.

Can’t get enough of this place. I would have to say that this is the best restaurant to get some phở in Little Rock. The servers should be more appropriate and the music should be also. Other than that, I would come back.

We eat here every week for lunch, always good and fast. The service is friendly and it’s really cool looking inside with murals. Do ot, eat phở!

Not bad for phở, but I worry that their menu is so large they can’t really focus on their Vietnamese options. There are a plethora of average Chinese spots in the city, but only two for Vietnamese(Mikes and Phở Thanh My). The phở is pretty good. Broth is a little too sweet, and doesn’t have quite enough meat in the meat/noodle ratio, but the condiments are fresh and flavorful, and their noodle bowls(Bun) are really good. Skip the spring rolls, fresh and fried. Nothing special. Basically all vermicelli and the peanut sauce isn’t great. Prices are fairly expensive for the area of town and quality.

Mike’s Café is the real deal. My brother got me going here when they first opened several years ago. When you first come here you may be overwhelmed by the selection of the menu, but if it’s your first time just get an order of spring rolls and order of Phở then go from there on your return trip. Trust me, there will be return trips. Another great item is the House Special Orange Pork which is great, my buddy can not stray away from getting this every time we come. I tend to stick with the H1, which is Seafood Noodle Soup, a must have for me on a weekly lunch trip from work. The wait staff is great and friendly and I believe a lot of it may be family. The prices are very reasonable. Nothing more I can say, but to just go try it!!!

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Little Rock. They have a large and very diverse menu with something for everyone. From simple fried rice dishes to all types of Asian foods. They might claim to be a Vietnamese restaurant but they do have a couple more traditional Chinese food options available. The staff has always been super nice and helpful explaing what is in different dishes. I highly suggest going to Mike’s.

I love the diversity of the menu. I’ve been here several times now and have tried one of the hot pots, the phở, the spring rolls, and a few other dishes. I’ve enjoyed it all immensely. The shining star, that I always get now when I go there, is the pickled vegetable side. I normally don’t like the traditional, vinegar pickling method, but they pickle the cabbage, carrots, and other vegetables in a sweet pickling liquid that is delicious. I will most definitely be back!

The food was just OK. But what really made me not like it is the fact that they gave me the wrong other and argued with me about it. I ordered a vermicelli bowl with an egg roll and grilled pork skin in it. I got a bowl with two egg rolls and one piece of pork skin the size of a Bacon Bit. The waiter argued with me that what they gave me was right and that the one tiny piece of pork was normal… Regardless of the fact that it looked nothing like the picture they had of it on the menu. That lack of customer service cost them any other stars I would have given them.
