From the ambiance and décor to our meal, my coworker and I(in town from DC Area) thoroughly enjoyed dining here tonight. We went off post(Camp Robinson) in search of some non Army chow, and every photo in the Little Rock Dining guide did this place justice. Order a Roman Sour, the meatball sandwich with insalata mista. If you opt for the tomato soup eat first before it gets cold. The meal was tasty(whole tomatoes) and the experience is well done. This restaurant is clean, despite the original hardwood and a high painted grey ceiling. Live plants, succulents, and original art add to the space, which feels light, airy, and open. Sitting at the bar our waitress did not rush us, even though we were one of the last diners to leave. I recommend this location highly, it’s feel good and one of a kind with a point of view. The staff is young and the tunes vibrant. A+

Atmosphere, service and food, all very good. Wine selection limited. This will be added to the list of go to pizza joints. looks like Chef Shuttle delivers

Putting the«rad» in raduno(which, in Italian, means ‘a gathering of friends’). This place is hip, spacious, casual and affordable. A great group dinner spot or happy hour destination, with a modern Italian-ish menu. The pizzas were not that exciting, the crust was a little too tough, and the toppings were sparse. The mushroom truffle pizza could have used a lot more everything. The Tuscan ragu pizza was a brilliant idea though — meaty & saucy & cheesey in all the right ways. If you’re a pizza snob, you may prefer the apps and salads. Bonus: the bartender knew everything about the copious wine & beer offerings(more beer than wine). A nice surprise!

Raduno is great pizza. Brick oven with a firm crust. Caesar salad before the meal was great also. Atmosphere is relaxing and modern.

It’s difficult to do a review when the food and atmosphere is good and the customer service not so much. If their was an option for 3 ½ stars I would choose that. The atmosphere is open and hip and I enjoyed the burrata appetizer! The prosciutto pizza was also good, however it was missing a hint of something in the background so ordering the banana peppers to go with it was a good idea. Now as far as the customer service goes… That was a huge miss. The waitress had no clue of anything. Anything we had asked her she had to go check with someone or she just plain did not know the answer and let us know that. I’m not sure if she was new or not. But she was clueless I do know that much. Not to mention very forgetful and dumbfound.

Great draft beer selection. Bad service. Server looked confused all the time like she was in the weeds with 2 tables. Menu font is hard to read. Menu lacks easy items. ie: all meat pizza, make your own pizza, breadsticks, etc. pizza was cooked too long. Crust was black in places. Food was not worth the hassle. Ambience was excellent! Hence the second star.

I was excited to try this place because they have bone marrow… not anymore. Strike 1. I tried the Date Night salad, very good! I tried the pizza with pork and eggs, but I had to order it without cheese, I’m very allergic. The pizza was SOO dry without the cheese. Most places will put a little extra sauce to even it out, there was NO sauce. So I asked for a side of their house made lemon vinaigrette(delish) and that helped a lot. However, when I got my check, they charged 75 cents for a little side of dressing but, of course, didn’t take any money off for no cheese on my pizza. Nickle-ing and dime-ing sure is annoying. While I’m sure a different pizza with pesto or something would be better, I won’t go back. Our waitress was also very slow and very inattentive.

Pretty good pizza but more out of the way for me compared to ZaZa. Highly recommend getting the PROSCIUTTO pizza(prosciutto di parma, mozzarella, parmesan, arugula, pomodoro) or the H.A.M.CETTA pizza(pancetta, smoked chiles, farm eggs, pecorino, arugula, olive oil). The only thing was the service could be better.

Couldn’t ask for better service! Bart and company were wonderful. The service only enhanced the already great food. We loved the pizza and appetizer. The Scottish Fire cocktail was a great version of a Manhattan. Thank you Raduno!

Raduno has become one of my favorite spots in Little Rock. The pizzas have been consistently amazing, and they have the best beer selection in the area. Don’t miss out!

Raduno! Wow, I had never been to this place but it has blown me away the last two times I’ve been. Great pizza(expensive, but good quality artisan pizza)– with a crispy charred crust. Note: if you don’t like charred and almost burned crust you won’t like it much. Not in a bad way: it’s just high temperature, wood oven pizza. It’s great, but if you’re expecting NY-style foldable chewy pizza then you’ll be disappointed. I like their Salsiccia: it has lots of flavorful fennel sausage and pappadew(sweet red pepper) that balances and provides a unique sweet pop to the spicy sausage. Also, the Ham-cetta is good: pancetta from Hillcrest Artisan Meats, three sunny side up eggs, and arugula. There is no sauce base, but there is plenty of flavor from the spices and pancetta/egg combo. Also a great value for lunch– $ 10 for a 6″ pizza, small house salad and a soda/tea. Fast, filling, and affordable. Solid draft list between $ 5 – 8 and rotating special cocktails. The space is really trendy… It’s something you’d see in a hipster part of Charleston, SC, SF, or Portland. If you haven’t been yet, it’s definitely worth a shot. The best pizza in LR. Just know if you’re expecting dive bar style, cheap pizza with tons of quantity, you’ll be disappointed. This is a higher-quality, neat ambience spot with good ingredients.

Pizza is pretty good here. Nothing amazing but definitely not bad either. Good selection of beer also. Really cool decorating as well especially the floors.

Great food and good beer selection. Service was a bit slow but attentive when there. I got the pepperoni pizza and it was excellent. Very loud. That is one of the drawbacks. We went on Saturday and we were quickly seated. That is definitely a plus. We wi return.

I’ve been back several times since my original review and now have mixed feelings primarily due to inconsistent food. But somehow I keep getting drawn in, primarily due to location and ambiance I suppose. Long story short: *Had a great funghi pizza with a good crust *Had a great meatball sandwich and a DELICIOUS fried mortadella sandwich(my favorite thing here) *Had a H.A.M.Cetta pizza with a good crust but disappointing toppings(including a fried egg with a rock-hard yolk) *Salads are always good *Had a Salsiccia pizza with delicious toppings but a burned crust(looking around some crusts looked amazing and about a quarter of them were burned) *Regularly order beers and have the server have to come back to the table because it turns out they’re out(you have a chalkboard menu — keep it updated!) *Still love the décor/ambiance We also ordered the bone marrow once and were served such small bones that the tiny marrow spoon would not even fit inside the bone. I am an avid lover of bone marrow and have never been served anything like this. We should have sent it back($ 15 for two and a half tiny bites of marrow) but after some debate(and a strong aversion to sending things back) decided that any chef that would send this out of the kitchen wouldn’t understand it being sent back. In synopsis, attention to detail — in both food and service — is lacking. For example, a chef shouldn’t send a burned pizza out of the kitchen and food runners /servers should notice it’s burned and not bring it to the table. In my heart-of-hearts I want to give this place 2 or 2.5 stars but it’s filling a niche that is sorely needed in Little Rock.

Had the Portobello sandwich on Foccacia… Excellent…went back and had it again the next day, then brought my mom to have it the same week. Roasted peppers, big juicy portobello mushroom, provolone, pesto… so good. The Foccacia bread just makes this. Comes with a side salad… has to be local greens! The lemon vinaigrette is perfect on them. Also had the caprese salad… thought it would be layered but came out different than expected… but again with local greens and local tomatoes… and fresh mozzarella… fantastic. Great interior… homey. My new local SOMA hangout for a good craft beer and food

Piro is gonna do juuuust fine. I also like it juuuust fine. In fact, the Salsiccia is definitely a top notch pizza. The funghi is great too. That said, everything seems just a bit less tasty, less carefully prepared, and less thoughtful as time goes on. My first visit(opening week) was by far the best visit. Subsequent visits have gone downhill from there. The H.A.M.Cetta? Should be way better. Both times I’ve shared it with friends we’ve had an overcooked egg issue — fully cooked yolk. We’ve had zero to one smoked chili on our random sample of H.A.M.Cettas…or it’s not a discernible taste? The beer selection is okay enough… especially for the neighborhood. But the bone marrow is laughable. Actually, that’s not true. Two of us laughed and one of us was super annoyed. If the serving spoon doesn’t fit in the bone, the marrow is too small and the presentation awkward. I’m not expecting Bestia or Church & State LA bone marrow dishes… but for $ 12 Little Rock can do better! I know it can! For comparison, the amazing bone marrow dish at Pizzeria Mozza in Newport Beach is also $ 12. We each had one bite after we poked the marrow out with the skinny end of the spoon. And like that, it was gone. Service is nice enough but inconsistent. The people I dine with typically *hate* to waste food. Most if not all of the servers we’ve had have a habit of clearing dishes before they’re gone. Sometimes it’s just a few pieces of arugula and a tomato. Other times it’s ¼ of a meatball sandwich. I once felt like a jerk for asking the server to leave the last few bits of salad after he was already turning around, bowl in hand. This has happened with beer too. Oh, and the knife thing. No knives are provided… unless you ask. Pizza can turn a bit soggy so a decent knife is sometimes required. Despite my complaints I’m glad it’s in the neighborhood and I’m sure some of the kinks are on the mend???

If Unilocal allowed, 3.5 stars would be more accurate. I love the location and décor of Piro! Very trendy, but still laid-back. The bar was finished amazingly well! I didn’t try any of the beers this visit, but they seemed to have an interesting selection with fair prices. We started with a side of meatballs. The flavor was great. I believe we received 6 meatballs for $ 8; pricey, but most appetizers are. We also tried their sriracha style pizza. The combination of toppings was good and flavorful, yet the pizza was a tad overcooked. The bottom and edges were actually charred to the point of being inedible in certain spots. Pizza was $ 18, and was a seasonal item(not listed on the menu.) The cannoli dessert was awesome! In Italy, the cannolis were divine. These were pretty darn close. Handmade, with unique combinations such as orange chocolate and honey pistachio. You receive one of each for $ 7, which I felt was fair. Our waitress was super sweet and informative. Overall, we enjoyed our experience.

Pizza is not my favorite thing in Arkansas. When some friends mention pizza, they’re not talking about Piro’s style of pizza. Piro’s pizza is luxury pizza; it’s fresh; it’s pretty light, and it is flavorful! We had the Funghi pizza. I am a sucker for mushroom pizza, and this one is great. If you’re a big fan of thick crust, this may not be your spot – or you may be able to ask for a thick crust. I LOVE thin crust, so this is my type of pizza spot! They also have beer, wine, and a full bar. I love my wine – spent 8 years living in Sonoma County and making hobby wine. I am a big fan of the draft Pinot Noir. Yep, I said it. It’s a draft wine! And, I love it! I ordered two! We also had the Primavera salad, which is a tasty combination of arugula, green apples, walnuts, and Parmesan. Although we loved just about everything, I will point out that the Apple Angel is a pretty bitter drink. I did not order it – only tasted someone else’s. I would imagine a bit more apple for the name. It’s a great sipping drink without food, I think. I like the space too. It’s one big open room. I’m such a fan of sitting at bar tables because I feel like I’m where the action’s at. They were also playing jeopardy on TV, which isn’t as bad as some places who have TV. I can deal with jeopardy. Enjoy!

Oh man… Some places just leave you walking out the door practically skipping — and when we stepped out the door from our late lunch, it was pouring down rain, which magically did nothing to dampen our spirits! So here’s the skinny– You’ve got wines on tap, beers on tap(mostly regional, but one or two AR brews) or in bottles, and a short, fun cocktail list that’s well worthy of a look. There’s also a quick dessert list, and some delicious looking sandwiches and appetizers. It’s a fancier place, but the prices are excellent for what you get. Seating seems just as good at the bar or the tables, but we opted for the tables for a more relaxed lunch. It’s on the loud side, between a lot of cheerful patrons and the music, but in a very up-beat, casual way that never bothered either of us. The big selling food is the brick oven pizza(crispy, thin crust), but we also really enjoyed our salad(the arugula one, I don’t remember the name). We split that salad and a Funghi(mushroom/white sauce) pizza that were both excellent and plenty for two! But, it was a whole experience that we enjoyed. Right upon walking in the door we were greeted, and placed at one of the tables quickly, had a blast looking at both the food and drinks menus, and had a near-magical experience of getting whatever we ordered almost instantly. I mean, really, the salad took all of a minute to get from our order to the table! Granted, it was on the quiet side when we came in, and service slowed a little bit by the time we left(and the place was totally packed), but it was still very quickly and friendly service. Our server, Kelsey, had a big part in making it so much fun — she freely admitted to not being a wine drinker, but was still able to recommend several options that were just what my wife was looking for(and that is not easy!) she also was very good at recommending items off the menu that would suit us, and she was crazy-fast at getting whatever we asked for. All in all, a really wonderful experience! **Notes on the Brunch– decent price point(aprticularly on the pizza), good food, the Shrimp & Grits is a little small, but very good. The Frittata was also very good, as was the side salad. The drinks menu is shockingly missing Bloody Marys, but I’m sure they can still make ‘em. When we went it was reasonably full, so I’d expect to have to fight a little bit for a table.

Piro is a great addition to the SoMa Restaurant Row. Imaginative food and beverage menus combine to make a world class dining experience. This is one of the places you’ll want to bring your friends from L.A. to prove that Little Rock is no slouch when it comes to creativity and options.
