One of my favorites in LR. Convenient parking in the back. Great service and a bustling atmosphere. Good steaks, trout, shrimp, gumbo etc. Soaked salad & bread starts off your meal. Friendly service and the food is very close to authentic New Orleans food. Everything tastes fresh and I like the bar area too.

The food is amazing. Highly recommend the Tenderloin of Beef and the crawfish rice as a side. The atmosphere is nice and the service was great. Be sure to call ahead or get there early because this place is normally packed!

Authentic NOLA cuisine! The owner grew up there and the kitchen staff has several former Louisianans who made LR their home after Katrina. Start with the Shrimp Tchoupitoulas and pair it with white wine and a loaf(or three) of their bread(shipped daily from NOLA). For lunch I’d recommend the shrimp or thin fish po boy and a side of gumbo. The red beans and rice are great on a cold day. Pair it with a soaked salad if you’re super hungry. The crawfish étouffée is outstanding. I don’t even want to know how many calories it is, but it is worth it. The portion is huge — you can split it with a friend and still be full!(The lunch portion is smaller, but still plenty!) The burgers, steaks and fish dishes are always tasty. If you’re looking for comfort food on a hungover Sunday, I recommend their chicken fried steak and a bloody mary. The wait staff is always nice and knowledgable about the food and drink selections. Talk to the owner if he’s around — he’s an interesting character. If you’re in town for business, the bar is a great place to dine alone. The friendly regulars will make you feel at home.

My first Shrimp and grits! Amazing grits! Fried. So delicious. A little bit too salty, but very good still.

Praise the lord. We just moved up here from New Orleans and have had our fair share of bad Cajun/creole food with high prices, small portions, and Sysco sides. This place will not let you down. The prices are substantial but the amount of food you receive is more than worthy of the cost. Meals start with a soup or salad. I got the creole salad and my husband got the red beans. Both were very good. I ordered the grilled shrimp and veggies with crawfish rice and my husband ordered the Paul’s special which was a salmon dish. Both meals were absolutely delicious. The kids meals are very substantial. Honestly I could have eaten that and been more than happy. Also they serve legit French bread here. Needless to say we left with a ton of leftovers and a bread pudding to go. We will definitely be back.

This a favorite restaurant with locals and for good reason; the food is dependably delicious, reasonably priced and the portions are generous. It’s probably the restaurant we frequent the most in town. I’ve had most of the burgers(they use Creekstone beef which I appreciate) and po boys which I recommend. I’ve also had some of the seafood entrees but the shrimp etouffe stands out amongst those. I most recently tried the crawfish boil which is a seasonal specialty and it tasted just as good as what I’ve had in NOLA. The service is friendly and casual. I’m surprised by the 3.5 start rating The Faded Rose has right now because it at the very least it deserves a 4 — but for me it’s a 5 :)

The Faded Rose serves NOLA style Creole food that varies from good(the Crawfish Étouffée) to mediocre(incredibly salty gumbo). It’s incredibly popular, so expect a wait if you come during peak hours. I highly recommend having a beer at the bar(though the options weren’t fantastic) and ordering the popcorn crawfish, which are addictive. It’s casual and seems to be popular with families.

Great food. If they are doing crawfish, load up. They have some of the best seafood and steaks in Little Rock. Ask for Meredith Weedlediddle. She usually waits on me and my crew and she’s super nice… but then again the whole staff is helpful, so it’s hard to NOT get good service at Faded Rose. I’ll be back.
