West End Smokehouse & Tavern

I would have given it 5 stars but that bartender rachel had food stuck in her teeth. Completely unprofessional.

This sports bar allows smoking and must be 21 to enter. Not a big deal for me. Friendly staff good service. Average burger but exactly what I was looking for. Cool thing though, Superbowl Sunday they had some guys just passing out free beers. Pretty cool if it was planned or not.

One of my favorite places to hang out with friends. The burgers are fantastic– good onion rings too. I also like the grilled chicken salad. Playing the electronic trivia is also a great group or single activity here– so grab a trivia box to play (you can also play poker).
A solid group of regulars are friendly and welcoming on most nights.
The only negative is it being a smoking facility– but for some that is a positive.

i had a decent experience, it took awhile for my food to come but are server was awesome!

Great place to grab drinks, play darts or pool or watch a ballgame. Its impressive how spacious the place is. Pub food is good but not great.

After being charged $ 5 cover, my friends and I seated ourselves and waited for service to notice us for 15 minutes. We eventually had to grab a waitresses attention for some menus. There was a discrepancy between the waitresses on who’s table we were and a different waitress completed our orders. I ordered the BBQ Beef Brisket and was horribly surprised to find that it was food straight out of a GFS bag. Disgusting, dry, and very little taste; a complete rip off. The waitress was trying to push us out the door the entire time. She made various inappropriate comments and did not know how to properly serve us. The horrible service, food and atmosphere deserves 0 stars; though that was unfortunately not an option. Very upset with my experience.

Let me start by saying I rarly ever write reviews and I made a point not to write negative review because I think each individual experience is not representative of the overall dining experience. With that said, after moving to LR everyone told me about Westend so of cousre coming from a big city I had to try it. The food was adequate and I have to admit i got addicted to their chicken wings (YUMMY)! But the wait staff and bartender (s) are in a class of their own.
Without sounding like a Unilocal hater I decided to no longer frequent this establishment based on slow serves (but if you’re a regular disregard this comment) & what personally (and I do mean personally) l saw as lack of customer service and professionalism which I would expect from any neighborhood tavern/​restuarant.
Again this is my personal opinion and is definitely not representative of the majority of the individuals who frequent this establishment. So please take my commet in the manner it was given.

The staff was very friendly from the moment we walked in. Everybody in my party was extremely pleased with their meals. Waitress was very attentive and stopped to check on us several times. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves steak.

Great place to hang out with friends! They have bands on stage on Friday and Saturday and tons of tv’s to catch all the games. Fast service from bartenders and tasty BBQ, pizza and hamburgers served by a friendly staff that always greats you with a smile. Cigar friendly too.

I am an airline crew member and we were laying over down the street from this place. I found the staff to be quite nice. The host at the door was very friendly and chatted us up as we came in. The waitress was very sweet too. They had a bar area, pool tables, and lots of cozy couches to hang out on. There were TV screens everywhere. They had nice music playing. The food was pretty standard bar fare, but it was good. I didn’t like that they allowed smoking, but I think thats normal for this area. Another small gripe: the BBQ sauce wasn’t good. It had a weird aftertaste. Overall, though, I liked this place.

Not sure what restaurant these other reviewers went to but it wasn’t the place we went to last night! These other reviews must be employees hoping to increase business. The place was empty, first clue. They seemed confused about setting up a table for us, second clue. The waitress had no recommendations for drinks or entrees. Smoking is allowed in this place and the smell lingered throughout dinner. The food: brisket, horrendous. BBQ Pork, dry and tasteless. Even the water was horrible. In fairness, the beer was fresh and was a good temperature. When the waitress brought the bill, I asked to see a manager. The manager came out after 10 minutes or so and when I told him I was surprised that the food was so bad and that he had not come to check on us (again we were the only people in the place) he made the excuse he was in the back (for the hour and a half we were there) doing inventory. He did comp most of the BBQ entrees (though not all for some reason) but he did not come back to the table, which I thought very rude. Despite the manager comp’ing the food, the bad experience and horrible food means I wouldn’t return to this restaurant. They should call Gordon Ramsey to come save them!

Took 40 minutes to get one drink and a menu. Asked them about some BBQ nachos and they told me they didn’t sell them. What! It’s on the freakin menu for Gods sake.

Great staff and cold beer selection.
Creative seating available from couches to nooks with retro swivel chairs. If you are looking for a place to hang with friends, this is a great choice because you can interact with the patrons or stay secluded with your posse.
For all you out of towners like me, put this on your list!

Most of the appetizers are quite delicious. The drinks here are pretty good. The service can vary though. They have such a high turnover rate waitresses tend to be new. Also can be pretty smokey. Good place to hang out with a group of friends and get tipsy

I always eat dinner at least once at West End when I travel to Little Rock. They have a half chicken, smoked with 2 sides for less than $ 10. They have Buzztime trivia and a ton of people who play it. I usually stand up at the bar when I am here and the service is always great. The local crowd is very friendly and pretty darned smart too.
The beef brisket is also good here and the beer is always cold. The potato salad and baked beans are excellent sides. I like the fact that this place allows smoking even though I gave it up years ago. It’s nice to know that there is still someplace in the world that leaves the decision to me as to whether I stand next to a smoker or not.

Very cool place. I walked in, and thought, «This would be the perfect place for a Unilocal Elite event.» There are tables, with chairs, tables with couches, tables with soft chairs, tables with round benches. There’s an upstairs, and pool tables, and an entire wall of t.v.s hanging from the ceiling. They have a fantastic happy hour that starts at 3 and goes to 6. If you buy any drink, alcoholic, or non alcoholic, appetizers are half off.
One thing is, I don’t smoke, but maybe its allowed in Little Rock. I did, admittedly, pocket the cool wooden matches. I’ve not seen a tiny box of wooden matches for years.
I ordered iced tea, and barbecue chicken nachos. I received a hefty plate of barbecue chicken nachos. The nachos are red/​white/​black corn chips, with barbecue sauce, (instead of salsa), melted cheese, and chicken with green onions. Serious food, and enough to last 2 nights for me.
The nachos were really good. The chips fresh, the barbecue sauce, just enough. The cheese melted, and not too much. Truly a feast for a hungry stomach.
When my bill came only to $ 7.00 (less than the original price of the plate of nachos alone), I was very pleased.
The place looks huge. The parking was nearly full. The inside was not. I think they share parking with another place. There is the smell of cigarettes, but no one around me was smoking, which is why I gave it 4 stars.
I might be back before I leave. I found it comfortable, good service, good people, great price.

A fun place for unhealthy pub grub, cigarette smoke, and sports, but if you’re a non-​smoker, be prepared to smell like an ashtray when you get home. TV’s all over the place — including the restrooms. Bar trivia contests and live music on the weekends. Hottie young waitresses and pool tables. Decent selection of beer on tap. I would recommend this place over Hooters anytime. (What IS it about Hooters that keeps it in business???)

This place is so smoky and the service is horribly slow. There are better options.

Great burgers here! The bands that they get here seem to be pretty good. Its a larger place so there is room to play pool, watch tv, eat, or drink at the bar. There are couches around the place to lounge into as well. The place gets a little loud at times during the day due to poor acoustics but besides that, this is a good place to go to during the night or day.

What a great atmosphere and place to eat. Watched Sunday night football on the big screen with a very friendly staff.
