Cabinets of Denver

Just ordered kitchen countertops and a granite countertop .Judy was phenomenal. Did not try to upsell us on more expensive stuff. We went to other home remodeling companies and also went to Home Depot. With the same design and materials and She had them beat on quality and price hands down. She was within our budget made excellent suggestions we would have never thought of and was on top of things. Like always some things didn’t come in on time but that was not their fault they got a little frustrated at their suppliers. But it was no big thing for us we were in no hurry to get it done at any time and heck it was Christmas vacation and most factories and employees are off anyway. Marty who made and installed the kitchen countertops did a phenomenal job. At the end it looked better than what we thought. Sometimes in construction people are inpatient and they want everything now. If you are patient and want quality work and a quality job I highly recommend Cabinets of Denver.

This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. We bought an older condo and decided to remodel the kitchen. We came to Cabinets of Denver and found the initial meeting appealing and the price for the cabinets and installation was within our budget. We got our cabinets and she contacted one of her contractors to do the installation. Her contractors always showed up late. The kitchen is only 8’x8’ and they said initially it should take them just a few days. It ended up taking about 4 weeks!!! For an 8’x8’ tiny kitchen! They always said they’d be there in the morning around 8am-8:30am… then eventually showed up around 10 or 11. Several times they just didn’t show up and I had to call them just so they could tell me oops they’re kinda busy today and can’t make it!!! WHAT??? So our kitchen is just gonna sit unfinished then??? Well, then EVENTUALLY got the cabinets up and they put up the fridge panel, which was the wrong fridge panel. We ended up arguing with Cabinets of Denver about the fridge panel as it was not the one we had requested. They just argued with us and said they could order a new one for $ 200 which was retarded because they ordered the wrong panel in the first place! After more and more arguing we ended up having to give up and pay it otherwise we wouldn’t have had a fridge panel at all. So they ordered a new one… which we got the next week… and was the wrong one AGAIN!!! Ended up arguing with her again and she would NOT order a new one without charging us for it… again. Could not get her to budge so pretty much said screw it and her contractor put a piece of filler in the notch. You can see it but at least it’s not as noticeable. After the kitchen was finish the contractor left his tools and mess on our balcony. I had called them to come pick them up and they said they would. Nope, never showed up… never called. Ridiculous. We were tempted to just sell his tools on eBay if he didn’t come get them but he eventually came and got them after about a week or so. Oh, and I forgot to mention the contractor ended up throwing a tantrum at his co-​worker and screaming and throwing crap around and walking out slamming the door. Overall NOT a good experience. Avoid this place at ALL costs! I heard other people have had similar issues with them.
