Charley’s Grilled Subs

Is this place under new management?? I used to like this place, but after today I will never eat there again! The door was open to the back and dishes piled high in the sink it. The place was just really dirty. Touching money with gloves on and then making the food w/​o changing their gloves after I saw this happen I asked for my money back! Gross!

Good and fresh but too expensive.

I’ve been back two times since and have had the same great quality and flavor.

Mall food. When I originally looked this place up on Charley’s site I was THRILLED to find that there were even any Charley’s in Colorado. I used to eat at one all the time in Arizona. While the one I went to back home was in a strip mall, this one was not. I had to actually go into the mall’s food court to find it. A number of things contributed to rubbing me the wrong way here, but it started with the seemingly not very hygienic conditions of both the staff and their kitchen.
The second disappointment was that they didn’t have my favorite sandwich on the menu at this location, even though it was listed online. What I ended up with was just okay, a buffalo chicken sandwich. When I got to the end of it, I realized I was chewing on a very hard piece of onion, like, they didn’t remove the first layer of it before chopping it for the sandwiches. The onions were so strong that I tasted them for hours after eating my meal.
Finally, the most disappointing part of my experience was the size of the food. Now, I’m not one to really complain that I got too little food for what I paid, because to be honest I really don’t eat that much in one sitting. Here though, for the amount of calories in a sandwich and fries, you’d think you would get more… not so.
