The cherry cake doughnuts are some of the best I have ever had, if not THEBEST. Local and friendly, get the whole milk. Seriously, the greatest. I have been going here for years.

Just a local yokel donut place that is not much to write home about. The cinnamon rolls were honestly not very good, I would argue that a groceries store one is better.

Great small doughnut place. Always busy when I go but they seem to move the line quickly. Wish they would have more selection of unique doughnuts but I guess that is not their MO. I would recommend this place as a local doughnut shop.

By far the best cake donuts in Denver! Their maple pecan donuts sellout very fast so you have to get there early. Their other varieties are great too. Skip VooDoo, Lamars, Krispy Cream, and others… just leave a few for me.

This place has the best donuts. It’s easy to get caught up in big names, but if you want a great donut go here. Their donuts have a homemade flavor with substance. After having Donut Hut, any other donut place is a disappointment.

A donut shop without donuts?! Who’da thunk! First, the donuts, when they have them, are really good, and I’d give them 4 stars on donut quality, alone However, they routinely sell out of donuts by mid-morning. I can’t count the number of times they have few-to-no donuts left when I get there. It is very frustrating to make the effort to go to the Donut Hut, only for them to be out of donuts relatively early in the morning. I see lots of other customers being turned away, too. It seems their fear of left-over product causes them to inconvenience a lot of their loyal customers. Makes a really bad impression, as if they give little thought to the people who support them. I now unfortunately go elsewhere when I need a quick and easy morning snack because I never know if they will have donuts when I get there. A shame because they do have good donuts. Anyone recall the Monty Python sketch about the cheese shop that doesn’t have cheese?( ). The Donut Hut is where satire has morphed into reality. However, I am sure the apparently illogical situation of a donut shop not having donuts has a rational explanation. Perhaps that part of Littleton has a flour shortage and they don’t have enough ingredients to make more donuts? Or, perhaps, the staff really really like donuts and eat half the product before it makes it to the display case? Or maybe they have a really small oven and can only bake a small number of donuts each day? Or maybe they donate half of their output to charity each day? Or maybe. .. ? Good donuts, but poor management gives them 2 stars, overall.

Although I have never actually been here before, I’ve enjoyed two donuts from this little piece of heaven. The first donut I had was simply just a chocolate glaze. It was so yummy! The next donut I had was like a regular donut with a pecan or some sort of nut crust. Holy wow! My mouth is watering just thinking about that donut. If I ever want a donut, I will definitely go back here!(or have someone bring one to me)

I like Donut Hut because open up before I go to work. Love their coffee and their selections of donuts. The people over there are always friendly and helpful. One of coworkers retired on Thursday and we placed a big order there and they carried it out to my car. FIVESTARS!!!

We were new to the neighborhood and found this place after exploring our surrounding area. I’m always down for a good doughnut, so I figured we could check them out. We have now been here about 5 times over the last few months and I can say that overall I’m happy with the doughnuts. Obviously, the later you get there the less selection, but if you get there early enough you have a good variety to choose from. I have noticed that I prefer the cake style to the traditional yeast doughnut here, they always have good flavor and are moist. It is a great place to treat yourself to a quality doughnut and support local business at the same time. I am a fan of straightforward doughnuts without all the added hype, so if that’s what you want, check this place out.

We placed an order for donuts today for pick up at 9 am. We drive all the way there on icy roads only to find out that they were closed. We were extremely disappointed and will not be back.

Best donuts in town! Their home made, hand cut flavor never gets old. The cherry donut is the best.

Great donuts. Awesome selection. Coffee is good. Prices are reasonable. Opens early. Large parking lot. Clean facility & bathrooms. Friendly service. I keep going back and my kids love it.

First off, the donuts. The donuts we ordered were dry. As for the flavors, the only ones available were cake donuts with both chocolate and vanilla icing topped with sprinkles, along with chocolate long johns as well as a peanut flavored donut. The only one that was okay was the peanut flavored one; the rest of them were bland. You would probably fair better going to your local grocery store. Next up the service. We had a late start to our morning, and arrived just before 11am. We figured since they were open until 1am that we would be okay in terms of available donuts; we were wrong. Immediately upon entering an employee behind the counter said, «This is all that is left.» They had only the flavors listed above. She came across as slightly rude. We grabbed 1 of each that was available and I asked if they still had decaf coffee. The lady responded, «I think so…» Their service was bad and along with the donuts tasting bad it is enough for me to never return. I don’t understand how a business that produces it’s own goods can’t make enough product to last the short hours that they are to be open for business. On top of that, how can they have, a staff that acts bothered that you came in to purchase what they sell. I will not return to this place and I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone else. There are better options out there, and as I stated above, I would rather go to King Soopers and buy their atrocious donuts over this place.

It is 8:41am on National Donut Day and the Donut Hut is out of donuts. Enough said. Just don’t get your hopes up on this place ever – they run out fast. As a result, I have a disappointed toddler. Boo. The donuts are good, but this happens far too frequently.

Sold out by 9am on National Donut Day? How disappointing. Their donuts are very good, but I have to take a longer, different commute to get there. Imagine going out of your way to celebrate a special occasion, only to be turned away at the door, and having to find a competitor. By the way, the competitor up the street was fully stocked, staffed, and even handed out fresh, warm donuts to each customer waiting in line. That’s how you win over customer loyalty. Maybe Donut Hut will be better prepared for NDD ’15, but I most likely won’t be there to find out.

Pros: Staff is friendly, store appeared clean, there were plenty of places to park and sit. Their donuts were delicious! Cons: I’ve had their coffee twice now, and both times it was terrible. The first time, I just assumed it was a fluke, but it was just as bad the next time we went back. Their counter is set up so that a line potentially backs up outside of the door. That same door is how exiting customers are to leave. It’s a bit crowded in that area. Still, I give them 4 stars! The donuts really are great! Just don’t drink the coffee!

Donut hut is the best! First of all the staff is so wonderful, very nice and helpful. They have an interesting selection of donuts, everything from traditional glaze to lucky charms donuts. They also have bagels, and breakfast sandwiches. My personal favorite thing is their homemade hot chocolate made with actual milk! It’s not just regular old instant! I’m not big on coffee but I got it once and seemed good as well. They are priced wonderfully, dozen is about $ 9! Everything is made fresh and with love. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! It’s right next to the Mexican food place and skate city!

I love these donuts, it’s a shame that by the time I go in my favorites are gone though. I loooved the pumpkin one that you guys had, but I guess it was only seasonal. Good place though :)

It is a sad day when I don’t finish a donut. Just how old was the dough you put in my raised donut? and please don’t stretch them as attempt to hide they are small. Your cakes look great and large but they were dry and overloaded with oil. You use to be the only source of well made donut, I don’t know what you have changed but please change it back.

If we were talking half stars, I’d definitely go 4.5. The Donut Hut has become our latest morning staple since Caribou Coffee on Broadway closed.(Plus, these guys are local and family-owned!) They’re open daily at a ridiculously early hour because they’re making everything fresh! I’ve never actually stayed to eat at the restaurant since we’re usually on our way to work. In addition to donuts they have lots of breakfast sandwiches and burritos(and delicious chocolate chip muffins, my current vice), so maybe one of these days I’ll pop in on the weekend and stay for a while! They serve Dazbog coffee, and make an awesome chai latte too. A couple of months ago, Wheel and I got 2 dozen donuts for our coworkers. They offer a punch card where your 10th or so dozen is free. I don’t buy donuts in that quantity often, but it couldn’t hurt to get a punch card anyways! All of the donuts were delish, but a few of them with frosting were a wee stale-tasting. Another plus — if you’re feeling the slightest bit cranky, it’s not going to last long after popping your head inside here. Everyone is super friendly; they’re bound to put you in a better mood!(Also, I’m not positive on this one, but I think they have free wifi.)
