Good, seems like quality has declined in last few years. Still go to place for Mexi-​deluxe half and half.

This place is take out only.
The food actually did look amazing but, we were looking to dine in.

A freshly made breakfast burrito at 1:30 in the afternoon! How awesome is that?
Ordered a typical egg, potato, bacon cheese burrito smothered… exactly what I was expecting… it was fresh with tons of goods; no cut corners here.

This place don’t need any stars! Very disappointed! I disgrace this place! Food was not good two of our friends both sick from the chicken burritos they charge too much for something that taste like shit they get an F for foul as place! Best chubby is in the north side 38^th BTW they took over 30 min to make our food and it looks like my 3 year old nephew made it!

Great Mexican food. Lots of it and for a great price. If only they had a dining area.

The service here has always been terrible since I’ve been coming the last few years but yesterday took the prize. I went through the drive through at 5:45pm and there was one car in front of me which took 10 minutes to get their food. Then I went up, paid for my food and after 7 minutes waiting, the cashier said that her manager screwed up my order and she need to confirm with me what I had ordered. She had this written down and had confirmed it with me when I paid. Couldn’t she just read her ticket? At that point after waiting almost 20 minutes, I told them I wanted my money back as I needed to go and did not want to wait another 10 minutes to get my food.
The food is not worth it. It is OK at best. Never going back again.

They do have 99 cent tacos on Tuesday and they have $ 2.00 breakfast burritos from 7AM until 10:00 AM. Other than that — it’s hit or miss. The chimichangas are usually good but depending who is running it goes from very good to very greasy and stale.

Thought I’d give this Chubby’s one more chance after some «not so impressive food» quite a few years back. I visited on a Saturday morning, the first week of June 2015. The service, if you want to call it that was okay, she took my order in a hurry. But it took WAY to long to get the breakfast burrito. I was so hungry though, I was looking forward to the breakfast burrito and I thought even if the food was mediocre, I’d gobble it down with no problem. WRONG. I threw half of it away. A frozen burrito from Kroger, Wal Mart, K Mart or Kum & Go would be better than what Chubby’s on South Lowell is putting out.

Greasy, too cheesy & way expensive for what it is. You pay $ 5 for a burrito but if you want things like green chili or tomato it’s all extra.

Decent mexican food… nothing extraordinary though. Decent green chile. Id come back if im in the area but wouldnt go out of my way to come here.

Closed at 6 on sunday? I’m not trying to buy a TV, i’m trying to get a burrito. That’s just shameful for a restaurant.

Came hear earlier today craving breakfast burritos, so disappointed, coming from Las Vegas and having a good Mexican place on every corner I truly miss it now. If you want a white boy styled Mexican food come here, who puts chili in a breakfast burrito? And burned chorizo? Yuck and also no homemade horchata, and they didn’t have green salsa! Lady with weird fingernails was rude as well. Never going back we threw away our burritos and went somewhere else.

Stopped in for some greasy Mexican breakfast tacos and I was blown away at how good these I’m-not-on-a-health-kick babies tasted. They don’t skimp on the meat, and their green chili has a kick that lingers for 15 minutes after you’re done eating. Good work! Can’t wait to try out a full-​fledged breakfast burrito from Chubby’s.
Grab a tube of Tums and check these guys out. YUM!

We ordered breakfast from Chubby’s today, about five people. Their breakfast is very reasonably priced, with breakfast tacos costing only $ 1.85 and burritos starting at $ 3.50. You can also order two breakfast tacos for $ 3.50. I had an egg and chorizo taco and a bacon and egg taco. The chorizo was awesome, though I would recommend they not season it with quite as much salt.
The great thing about this place, in addition to the tastiness of the tacos, is the service. The food was ready when we arrived, and the entire order was correct. Great job, guys!
Once I try this place again I may give it 4 starts, depending on consistency.

This place is delicious in that greasy, gringo mexican food kind of way. I imagine stoners would go crazy over this place — inexpensive, huge portions, variety of fried foods and drive-​through.
I had their breakfast tacos — one potato/​chorizo, one bean/​bacon with a side of hot green chili. Everything was super tasty and it was so cheap for a darn good amount of food!
For greasy fried deliciousness and solid spicy sauces (their salsa is tasty too), check this place out.

Breakfast burritos. YUM. Parking lot isn’t exactly fantastic and there is definitely a blind spot trying to turn out but it’s all good early in the morning. Decent menu and good prices for a tasty, good sized breakfast burrito. I wasn’t impressed with the woman behind the counter however. Have some more coffee!

Food is good & not too expensive. Hey… it’s quick & cheap take out. So don’t expect too much.
The service is good too. My only complaint is the parking lot. It’s hard to get in & out of that place. Also, it would be nice if they had a customer bathroom.

I’ve enjoyed the food here a few times before, and it’s usually pretty good but this time was just an overall crappy experience.
I drive past Chubby’s on my way home from work and decided to stop for a quick dinner (that I didn’t have to make myself after a really long day at work!). I drove into the drive through and there were a few cars ahead of me. I looked at my clock and it was 6:31. When I finally got my food it was 7:13… That’s just plain crazy for fast Mexican food. I would have already been done with my food if I had gone to a sit down restaurant!
There was not even a mention of the wait let alone an apology! What makes it even worse was when I got home, not more than five minutes later, the burrito was mildly warm, and my order didn’t include the items I had asked for.
There were just a few too many strikes tonight. This will be the last time I’ll stop in at Chubby’s.
