I love Ed“s but due to an issue there, I will not be back. Last year, his worker accused me of not paying for my hot dog. I have been a regular there since he opened. I gave the attendant a $ 20 bill and she gave me change. I was with some friends. She was not going to give my friend his dog because I did not pay. It was nonsense. She then continued to tell the other patrons that I did not pay while we were sitting there eating. It was very uncomfortable for all. Why would I still a $ 2 dog? Anyway, I finally saw Ed there about a week ago. I informed him of the issue. He did not face me and simply said, I know about it and she has worked for me for 5 years. That was it. No I am sorry, nothing. I work in the hotel in customer service and it really amazes me that he would handle that issue like that. Needless to say, I will find another dog place. Littleton Local

Unfortunately I only get Ed’s amazing weenies once a year if I’m lucky. The only time a Pennsylvanian like myself gets to eat at Ed’s is when he is visiting relatives. We have some great hot dog joints in NEPA, but for Massachusetts, having absolutely no good pizza(at least in Littleton) this place is delicious! Ed is a great guy and his prices are cheap! One of the best weenies I have ever had!

Stopped in for a quick bite today and ordered just a basic dog with mustard. I was impressed that he had various mustard offerings, but that’s kind of where the magic ended. This is a skinless Kayem dog that you can buy at Shaws… despite claims that is a «special blend that can’t be bought»…please. Nice touch with the buttered roll. Sorry, but for the hot dog itself, I wasn’t impressed.

Paid $ 7.25 for what was supposed to be 2 chili-weenies and a bottle of water. Left to go eat them and they were just plain old hotdogs no chili– major bummer! The water was delish though as a consolation I suppose. Lesson learned — check your weenies carefully!

Friendly gentleman running a dog stand in a farm parking lot. Frankly(hah! a pun!) I think the high ratings might be more for the charm than the hot dogs. That said, the buns are nicely grill-warmed, and there are good toppings to choose from. The hot dogs themselves seem kind of ordinary. I’d think the owner would get something fancy, or grill them. Mostly visited by nametag-wearing engineers and macho midlife crisis guys in their Ford F-150s. Still: a nice change of pace, near a good new Starbucks.

Love this place. We stopped off on our way to Maine — the dogs are unbelievable! Beef weenie on a pretzel roll is a must try. And you won’t find a nicer host than Ed himself. GO!

Good quality weenies with all the fixin’s. A little slow so lines can form at busy times. But Ed keeps it legit and doesn’t cut corners just to speed things up.

Fantastic food, great prices! I’ve been stopping by Ed’s Weenies for about a year now and have never been disappointed. The hot dogs are very good, especially with the grilled/buttered rolls. And I typically don’t eat hot dogs. My girlfriend has tried many of the other options(Fresh soups, chicken salads, seafood salad, egg salad, etc) on the menu and she’s enjoyed them all. Ed’s a great guy, on multiple occasions he’s done right by me and I’m sure he does with his other customers. I dropped my hot dog, he got me a new one. I forgot my drink, he let me come by and get it the next time I was there. I didn’t have enough cash(doesn’t accept cards) and he let me pay him back on my next visit. It’s also very convenient, about a mile off of 495 and a short drive from the center of Groton, Ma.

I love this place. It is a hot dog /stand food truck in the far end of the parking lot for Gary’s Farm Stand. Great to pick up a quick lunch. I am a fan of their cranberry walnut chicken salad sandwich served on a grilled bulkie roll($ 6 or you can get a smaller version for $ 4.50). The chicken salad preparation is delicious, and the bread is deliciously prepared too. I’ve also gotten their pretzel dog($ 4) as well as their regular dogs($ 2.75). Friendly, quick service. Nice variety of sides they offer too, from baked beans to mac and cheese.

Real homemade beans and potato salad. The dogs are nothing to bark at either. A real roadside gem.

I was hankerin’ for a dog, so i checked this place out. I had a kraut dog with caraway seed and horseradish mustard and a chili cheese dog. Both were very good and the prices are great, especially the specials.

I’ve stopped in here now and then for a bit over two and a half years. Am afraid I’ve only ordered the hot dogs(they come steamed and grilled. The grilled ones are superb!). I must make myself try other things — I believe he has soup and chili. The prices are very reasonable. Ed is a pleasant man to talk too, and he has a «tip box», the money of which goes to the Littleton Library. He seems like a thoroughly nice man!

My family and myself ate Ed’s Weenie’s this past weekend after chopping down our Christmas tree at nearby Durkie Farm in Littleton. The weather was fantastic so it worked out, since all of the seating is outdoor(Of course because it’s basically a food cart). The two guys working(I assume, one was Ed) were polite and down to business taking orders. There was some confusion on the ordering side, but we had 6 people on one order so perfectly understandable. My girlfriend got the last cup of Corn and Shrimp chowder, really good stuff. I think they change their soups often. She also got the pulled pork sandwich which I thought was incredibly tasty. Not too much bbq sauce, but more than enough to get a great taste with every bite. Healthy portion of pork on the bun as well. Three of us ordered dogs which were fantastic. The buns were toasted which made everyone happy and the dogs were tasty with sauercraut, onions and some hot mustard. The beans and potato salad were awesome and complimented the dog perfectly. A couple of people got the egg salad which they enjoyed. My brother’s girlfriend was talking about the egg salad having some interesting taste but couldn’t put her finger on it. we asked Ed and he said that it was just eggs, mayo, salt, pepper and garlic powder. We all tasted it and thought it tasted like normal egg salad. Overall, the place was awesome. And I can’t wait to go back to get the pretzal roll dog. It’s imported from Germany!

Stopped for lunch on the way back from swimming. Great dogs, also a great egg salad sandwich. You can get a hot dog on a soft pretzel roll– OMGYUM! The hot dog stand is in the lot of Gary’s Farm Stand, so while you eat your dog you can get some fruits and veggies to counter. :-) They also serve clam chowder and lobster bisque, so of course that means I need to go back. I noticed that they accept tips, and all the tips go towards the Littleton Libraries. So they give you great food, for a good price, AND they give back to the town. Great little business Ed has!

Ed’s Weenie’s is a regular stop for my co-workers and me. My office is right down the street & on any given summer day, you can find a handful of us noshing on Ed’s delightful, delicious, yummy offerings. Ed’s very good cook and it’s a pleasure to have lunch up there. The atmosphere is simple, very homey, very casual, and Ed makes it better by playing the local classical music station and coming out to visit with his Regulars when he has a little down-time. The hotdogs are exemplary. Very tasty, perfectly cooked. His chili is delicious and even better when slopped onto a hotdog in a buttery roll for his chili-dogs! The chowda is yummy and was a pleasant surprise the first time I had it. Beyond all this, Ed is a great guy!

I concur with the previous reviewers. I too enjoy going to Ed’s Weenies to pick up some lunch now and then. His dogs come grilled or steamed, and he also offers BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, chunky all-white chicken salad sandwiches, and very good beans. I almost always order the sausage with peppers and onions with a side of really good homemade potato salad. He charges $ 1.25 for an extra tall can of cold Arizona Iced Tea. The good man Ed does not gouge us for his good food. His stand is located at the far right of the Gary’s Farm Stand parking area.

Great place for a quick lunch. We walk here with the kids all the time in the summer. Simple food that tastes great for the right price. Ed is such a wonderful person, too, and works hard to give back to his community in very concrete ways. Definitely worth supporting! And you get a tasty meal in return! He’s also available for catering events. :-)

Ed’s Weenies is amazing! The rolls and dogs are grilled in REAL butter. The clam chowder is the best I’ve had … and so is the lobster bisque! The soup selection changes daily, but barbequed pulled pork and chicken salad sandwiches and chili(all excellent) are always on the menu. The kitchen is spotless and in the summer there are tables and chairs amid beautiful potted plants for al fresco dining. A very uncommon hot dog stand. I highly recommend it Lacmot

Ed’s Weenies is a great place to get lunch. The weenies are the best(he toasts the roll with butter… mmmmm), great selection of condiments. My favorites are dill relish and deli mustard and red pepper relish and red onion but there are many more. If you aren’t into hot dogs, he also has a pulled pork sandwich and chicken salad sandwich(the fresh lettuce and tomato make this mouthwatering) Did I mention that the rolls are toasted with butter, mmmmmm. Both sandwiches are amazing! I don’t know about you, but I like variety and I can get it at Ed’s. Whether its dogs, sandwiches or soups, I leave satisfied and always full. The best part is that he’s open year-round. How many roadside stands can say that. I highly recommend stopping by this place.
