I went here on my elusive search for relatively inexpensive furniture(not that I need an excuse to go thrifting!) and to see if there were any clothes I could buy for work. Normally, my thrifting consists of looking for books. This Goodwill had a lot to offer! I started a new job and had to buy some khaki pants and black shirts. Goodwill didn’t disappoint! I found 3 pairs of khaki pants, with brands like Mossimo, Banana Republic, and American Eagle. One pair was brand new with tags still on. I paid $ 4.99 for two pairs and $ 8.99 for the new pair. Even after I get them all hemmed I’m still going to be paying less for all 3 than I would have for the Banana Republic pair brand new. Gotta love a good deal! There were quite a few pieces of furniture in good condition and pretty reasonably priced. I didn’t end up taking any home but I was impressed with their selection. I noticed this Goodwill had one wall of designer purses. I saw Coach, Vera Bradley, Juicy. I was intrigued, but the prices were higher than I’d pay — a Vera Bradley laptop case was somewhere in the $ 40s and I know I could find it for less on eBay. The people here are very nice. I heard one lady checking out being pretty rude to one of the cashiers about how her Goodwill card didn’t do anything anymore so she wasn’t going to bother to even take it out. Curious, when I checked out I asked what the card does. Apparently they have sales, like today(Wednesday) that are 50% a few colored tags and only for cardholders. That’s not nothing in my book! Overall, a good, big location with a lot to offer and I’m sure I’ll be returning.

Not so good with the clothes selection but I found a sweet knick-knack for 10 bucks. Right on!

I’m not a huge Goodwill treasurer seeker, but this location’s sizeable offerings give said seekers a better chance than not at finding that oddity or P.I.M.P. 80’s t-shirt. The building is newer construction and things were generally on the shelves/racks/hangers(unlike some GW stores where things are strewn about and littering the floor). There’s a large amount of vinyls to pick through for you anti-digital peeps. Happy hunting!

My friends came to visit a few weeks ago, and we took a trip to my local Goodwill(on Wadsworth). I hadn’t been to one in a few years, and I fell in love. Ever since then, I’ve been trying to find more thrift shops because seriously, there are some great hidden gems among those shelves. My husband took me here before our visit to Elvis Cinemas, and the only place I had time to sort through was the record shelf. But, the entire store is quite large(perhaps an old Walgreens?) and looks like it had some great things. The staff was very nice, it was clean, and if you sign up for their emails, you will know when the 50% off Saturdays are! I mean, it doesn’t get much better than that.
