This is our ice cream stop in Littleton whenever we are craving something sweet. Their flavors never disappoint. Last night we had German Chocolate Cake and Minnesota Butter Toffee(apparently the owners are Minnesotan so I had to give it a go as a native Northerner myself). Amazing flavor. For those who lamented that they were closed unexpectedly: I asked the server if they are open all winter(as those of you from cold states might know, a lot of ice cream shops close in winter) and she said that they close if it is below 20 degrees F or so. Since they are primarily patronized by pedestrian traffic from Littleton Boulevard it doesn’t make much sense to be open if the weather is miserable and people are not out and about. That’s financial savvy if you ask me. I guess the rule of thumb may be: if you wouldn’t want to walk there because of the weather, maybe give them a jingle before you make the trek. Just be prepared for a line on a weekend in summer as it is a popular place to stop for a treat on hot days and nights!

Great handmade ice cream in Downtown Littleton. I will say that I am not a big fan of Ice cream, but the Inside Scoop Creamery is very good at their craft. They have a dozen or more selections to choose from as well as seasonal flavors. They scratch make their waffle cones and offer the chocolate dipped variety. Always a great treat to add to the downtown Littleton experience.

We have gone to inside scoop 3 different times to have them close earlier than their website, VM or hours on door state. Very frustrating that they are not consistent with their hours or that they don’t update their website. Business must be lacking or they would be more respectful to their customers.

Fun little shop in downtown littleton. Flavors are good but the overall consistency of the batch we got could have been a bit better.

This place was so charming and cute. Lots of neat pictures and quotes on the wall and some great motown music. I will return :)

This place really took me back! To have wonderful flavors like lavender and honey, or raspberry, or even horchata! The staff up in a couple minutes early because there was a line forming outside and they were happy and willing and ready to work! I really appreciated the customer service and the willingness to work with my kiddo who could not make up his mind. I definitely plan on returning!

Unilocalers did not let me down! This place was a nice little find. All 20 flavors were made on site. I had Sea salt caramel. My wife had butterfinger. Yum!

Delicious but a little stingy with the ice cream. Creative flavors and homemade cones! :) Next time I’ll ask for two scoops!

Came in on a Thursday afternoon with my boyfriend. I was craving some ice cream so we decided to stop by here. I got a single scoop of caramel & sea salt and honey lavender. The caramel & sea salt was good, but nothing more than that. The honey lavender on the other hand was very delicious and had a settle aftertaste of lavender; I definitely recommend this flavor! The staff was super friendly and the ice cream was very creamy and yummy. I definitely recommend this place!

Inside Scoop makes their ice cream homemade fresh. They have a lot of good flavors to choose from my favorite was the. Banana nut flavored while my friends flavor was the apple pie one. Very good on a hot day like today. We’ll be coming back again.

YUM! All I can say is yum. Dreamy ice cream in a cute shop and great location. All the ice cream is homemade so the flavor a change frequently. They have some traditional flavors like cookie dough but they also have some creative stuff like strawberry basil or lavender honey. Oh my are these Delish! Tonight I tried horchata flavor and it was so creamy and had a kick of cinnamon. There is plenty of street parking and is a convenient place to get ice cream and walk around downtown Littleton!

My daughter had her first lick of ice cream here — it will always hold a special place in my heart. :) The staff was very friendly, the ice cream and sorbet were FANTASTIC(we had Death by Chocolate and the Cherry Sorbet), and the shop was full of happy customers. I’d definitely come back.

Inside scoops creamery is fantastic! If I were local I’m pretty positive this would be my ice cream shop. I am completely spoiled by Jenni’s and Carmela’s out here in L.A., and still adored my selection from Scoops. I had the Maple Lavender. Two of my favorite flavors made for a win win combination. It was light and creamy with a sweet, hearty, maple finish. The service matched the ice cream in terms of quality. If I lived in the area I would definitely be coming back to try more and more! Thanks for the delicious treat Scoops!

There are lots of great ice cream places around to choose from. We have been to Inside scoop a few times. The other day we went in and asked for a pint of fudge cheese cake. I didn’t look at the tub before ordering. My wife watched as the girl scooping clearly was at the very bottom of the tub. Scraping up every last bit. My wife heard her say something to the other girl about needing a new tub and the other girl whispered something back. The girl scooping then squeezed a little squirt of hot fudge on top of the pint and smashed the lid on it. We paid and left. Well, needless to say we were sold a pint of vanilla ice cream with not one thing that remotely resembled a piece of cheese cake in it. Not one morsel and the only thing resembling fudge was the little squirt she put on top. They knew what they were serving us and didn’t care. There are other places to get ice cream. Weak!

I’m very torn. Part of me wants to give The Inside Scoop 5 stars, part of new wants to give them 1. Their ice cream is fantastic. This and Little Man’s are the best in Denver. The service is very friendly. I love going to The Inside Scoop. However, there is one terrible fact about this establishment, I never know if it will be open when I show up. The past 3 times we’ve gone, it’s been during normal business hours but there has been a sign on the door saying they were closed for one reason or another — usually weather. So there you have it. If they are actually open, The Inside Scoop is AMAZING. Great food, great service, great prices. But you can’t count on them. There is no way of knowing whether or not they are going to be open other than driving up and finding out, and I hate wasting my time so bad that I often just don’t bother checking. I’m really hoping ownership can get their act together and fix this problem, because it’s affecting business and keeping me from referring friends and family.

My husband, son and I drove out to Littleton to try this place, and we will definitely be back! The ice cream was perfectly creamy and so fresh! The flavors were subtle, but fantastic. I tried the Nutella flavor, which was super creamy and perfectly made. My son’s Cookies and Cream was the best cookies and cream ice cream I’ve ever had. My husband’s raspberry ice cream was fantastic as well! I highly recommend this place!

Their Homemade Ice Cream as good as it gets, and I know ice cream! As one who can confidently state he has indulged in more ice cream then he should have, I regret many of ice cream decisions before finding this place. Their flavors are very solid, but I encourage you to go outside of your«standard» flavors(which are also very good, but why have strawberry when you can have my personal favorite(key lime pie)). Thinking about their ice cream now is making me want to indulge more. ***As they often swap out ice creams and try new ones out, don’t get your heart set on a specific ice cream as they may not have it next time*** The only negatives I can name are their hours(they closed for a little while during the winter, and are not currently open every day, as rumor states that people don’t eat as much ice cream in the dead of winter as they do in the blistering summer months) and their hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is just a powdered(albeit a fancy powdered) hot chocolate packet with a scoop of ice cream in it. So it is not that it is horrible hot chocolate, but it doesn’t live up to how FREAKINGAMAZING their ice cream is.

On a recent summer night we decided to take the family out for ice-cream and decided to try something local. This place was a great choice and the whole family enjoyed it. The ice-cream is freshly made and they have a lot to choose from. They had some other intriguing items on the menu such as hot chocolate with a scoop of ice cream that I would like to go back and try. Family-friendly and fun environment.
