Jiffy Lube

I always take my vehicle to the jiffy lube on Kipling, which I am always impressed with. They pay attention to details and don’t miss anything. They always show me oil levels, wash /​vacuum everything, etc. Today, out of convenience, I visited the jiffy lube on Crestline. This was a mistake I will not repeat. When I sat down in the lobby, it was 5:40, twenty minutes till close. I immediately realized my error, as employees were rushing around to get out the door and literally had their cars running. Vehicle was finished at 5:52. Nobody ever went over anything about the service. No one offered options or recommendations. Oil levels were not shown to me. Windows not washed. No sticker for next service. I was very disappointed with their service. Worst $ 95.00 I have spent in quite a while. I hope they did something under the hood…

I always take my car here for oil changes! Each time I am in and out in less than 30 minutes. The customer service is always great and everyone is friendly. They are a little more expensive but its worth not having to make an appointment or wait a long period of time.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years, but no longer. When I arrived at the shop there were two cars waiting to move in to an open bay; mine and another guy’s truck. I went inside and waited at the counter for about 9 minutes before someone finally came in and told me that «we will go through everything once your car is in the bay». That would have been great… if they did not move my car away from where I left it to another bay. They let three new cars that arrived after me in my spot. The employees were rude and their work ethic is terrible.

Beware!!! Brought my car in for a simple oil change, and left with nothing but trouble. Do not bring your car here, the customer service is terrible and so is the quality of work. They failed to properly re-​attach the skid plate to the car and as my wife drive home it detached from the car and ripped in half. This however was not their fault as the car is older yet this had never been an issue with any other oil change. The owner hung up on me. A bunch of classless amateurs.

Arrived at 4:30. Greeted immediately. All employees nice and shop looks efficient. In a bay within 10 minutes. Mobil synthetic oil, oil filter, air filter, tires rotated for $ 149. Took an hour but its a lot of work to pull the skid plate to change oil and rotate those big 4WD wheels.

Great service, prices and they are quick.

I don’t know why this shows up as «closed» on the Unilocal!iPhone app, I was just there 2 hours ago and it’s very open. I just had my transmission fluid changed there and these people were so damned great, I just had to give them some kudos! Cost to change the tranny fluid on my old ’99 Rodeo with a 5spd was $ 45. Probably a little steep on the price considering it took them about 7 min and $ 10 worth of oil, but the guys at Jiffy Lube were fast and about the most courteous people in the auto business that I have EVER encountered. Not cheesy nice like those auto dealers, but courteous as if they actually appreciate your business and want you to return. It’s so rare to encounter this kind of treatment anymore, especially in the auto business that I want to find more stuff they can do on my vehicle. The guy that worked on my vehicle came to talk to me about what he did, answer a question I’d asked before he got under the vehicle, and he answered a few more questions I had about potential repairs even though they don’t do those repairs. A guy held the door open for me going in and coming out! Who does that these days? I could rattle off about a 1000 other busineses that could learn from this Jiffy Lube! Then when I got in my vehicle which the door was waiting open for me, I noticed they’d vacuumed it as well. I was stunned! The guys there were all very nice, didn’t mind my stupid questions and weren’t condescending like some places I’ve been. This place blew me away! So I guess in the end the $ 45 wasn’t too much after all because I will surely go back and recommend this place to everyone I know. Great job guys. I haven’t felt like a «valued customer» in so long I’d forgotten what it feels like.
