Nona’s Attic

Since we are in the spirit of Shop Local, I came to Unilocal to praise a little shop I visited yesterday. To my surprise this adorable boutique and vintage collectibles shop was not even listed as a business. This newly converted house in downtown Littleton (next to Melting Pot) offers vintage collectibles, trendy accessories (like a mink hairband), cute hats, bath products, candles, gifts, wine accessories and more at affordable prices. Phyllis the owner has a unique eye for presenting her store and I just know you will get great ideas for gifts.
Here is my story: After lunch with the girlfriends, Ms. A and I could not help stopping into Nona’s Attic. There were cute jackets and hats outside the doorway and we could see all kinds of sparkles on the inside. Sparkles are a siren song to the two of us. It took me two seconds to walk to an antique curio and spot a b-​day present to myself. A blue and white antique cat creamer (yes, I collect them); it was adorable and when I spied a price tag of $ 10.00, I became giddy. Ms. A fell in love with a cracker tin at $ 5.00 and bought both gifts (thank you). We spent another 20 minutes browsing a dozen or more items we wanted to purchase.
So during this season of shopping local and shopping for value, I highly recommend Nona’s Attic for your gift giving (including to yourself) and decorating ideas.
