Servers and hostesses very friendly. Nicely remodelled restaurant. 90% of the crab legs were good and appeared fresh. There were a few in the bottom that were brown and old looking. Did not look safe to eat so I left those. Overall was good. Will give another try on a future date.

Most horrible food I have ever eaten. Service sucked. The manager Robert Ivey, made every excuse in the book. What happened to customer service? I guess Red Lobster doesn’t care. I’ve had a better fish sandwich at Wendy’s! The fish and chips dripped in grease, malt vinegar tasted spoiled if that’s even possible. Never even got a refill on my iced tea. Sent my flounder back twice and all I got from the server and manager was arguments. Unbelievable… Their main dishes priced over $ 25 and they’re terrible! It’s a shame that this so called restaurant doesn’t give a damn about quality, service and customer service. Stay away from this overpriced fast food dump.

The food was ok. The service sucked. We sat for 15 mins before the waiter came and took our order. Our food sat up on the water for a while before it came to the table. We had to ask 2 to 3 time for anything we wanted. Can’t sat the food was good cause it sat on the warmer to long. Over all not to happy with my trip to the red loster.

Great service! My children loved the food as did I. They took a lobster out of the tank and let my children touch it. We will definitely go there again!!!

Where to start? I figured the place was pretty much empty because of the Broncos game today. Not too sure that was the case here. We ordered our food and I slowly started to see why it was this empty. Don’t get me wrong, the food was actually good. That is when I got my food. The current«Endless Shrimp«is going on. This particular restaurant has a policy of one order of shrimp after the initial order. I guess they figure that you will be too full to order more shrimp if they take their time. I got 3 orders of shrimp in 30 minutes. And my wife had to tell our waiter Dan that I wanted more because he kept walking past my empty plate at the end of the table. At this point I guess the Manager Robert saw I was pissed. He walks over and asks if there was anything wrong with the meal. Now Dan takes notice and walks over to ask if I wanted another order of shrimp. I said no and pointed out to Robert that I was passed 3 times before I was asked if I wanted more shrimp. Robert apologizes and says they only do 1 order of shrimp at a time as to not bog down the kitchen staff. Out of approximately 20 tables, only 6 were filled. Bog down the kitchen staff with what? Robert continues to apologize and gives us a few coupons for free desserts on our next visit. Useless because I sure won’t be back. Then does me a huge favor by taking 20% off my meal(of course being sarcastic folks). I sure didn’t get my money’s worth, was not full when I left and sure am not satisfied with the service. I’ll stick with Bel Mar for my seafood fix from now on. Thanks for nothing.

Food quality was good, portions large, and prices are not bad at all! And those cheddar bay biscuits!!! Our server was very attentive and grabbed to go boxes and extra biscuits to take home before I even could ask! Well done and we will definitely be back. Lunch was so relaxing!

Came here during crab fest! Red Lobster is now under new ownership: Golden Gate Capital and longer under Darden which means a new set of rules and the ability to add/change things on their menu! This place has really struggled in the past and is still struggling during my few experiences at this restaurant in particular. We had a great waitor, Drew, he told us all about the specials and walked us through the best sides. Drew made us aware of the things they were out of before even trying to order which I appreciated. He also complimented our choices and made us feel welcome! Drew was pretty busy that night with many tables so he didn’t frequent our table as much as he probably should’ve. We ran out of drinks twice. Moving on to the food: the crab legs were split down the center, in half drying them out so that was disappointing. The lobster linguine had pieces of shell in it and the berry sangaria just taste like a mixture of juice. I don’t recommend getting the crab lovers dream. We will be back but will be ordering something different. Thanks again Drew, great job, I’d hire you any day!

I’ve been to this Red Lobster twice, and my experiences were night and day. The first time, it was my boyfriend’s birthday. After striking out at a restaurant because there was bike race that shut down several streets and made it impossible to find parking, we came here. We were told the wait would be about 30 minutes, so we asked if we could sit at the bar. The hostess said that was fine. We sat down and the bartender took his time coming over to us. He eventually asked us what he could get us. We asked for a piña colada and some menus. We got the piña colada and waited… and waited… and waited… we had finished the piña colada and still no menus. The bartender didn’t even walk down to our side of the bar so we could ask. This had probably been at least 20 minutes since we came in. We would have been better off waiting to be seated. We paid for the drink and left. That experience was probably 1 star in my book. We came back a few days later and had a much better experience. We came around 4ish, so we didn’t have the super long wait. Our waitress was friendly, gregarious, and helpful. She took the time to get to know us and was prompt and efficient. My food was really good — piping hot biscuits, a delicious mussels appetizer, lobster linguine that was spectacular. My boyfriend liked his a lot too, although he did find a hair in one of the lobster claws when he first started eating. Overall, I think we’d come back, but would definitely steer clear of the bar, especially when trying to eat. We’d also try to come around 4 or 4:30, because if you try to come around 5 or 6 it seems like you can’t get in to any of the nearby restaurants.

Perhaps the red lobster by Southwest plaza should train the lakewood store about customer service! Great customer service

Just visited this Red Lobster for Mothers Day dinner for my boyfriends Mom. The wait to be seated was long, but expected, so no problem there. The service, however, was terrible. We were greeted by a man who said the he and another waitress would split our table of 9. Then the waitress showed up and took drink orders. Then we watched the 1st waiter and the waitress argue in the corner. The waiter never came back to our table. The waitress brought back the wrong drinks, and then was snotty while taking the dinner order. A long time passed and she brought us the wrong appetizers. We waited for the dinner course for a really long time… Her«apology» was to say«perfection takes time». When dinner came it was not all together, two of our group got theirs more than 10 min after the rest of us, and the most important one(Moms lobster) was cold and rubbery. The meal the took the longest was kids menu Mac & cheese. So in this case, it was not«perfection» that took time.

This is the worst red lobster in Colorado. Horrible service. Poorly ran and a chaotic nightmare with the staff there is no team work and I will never be back to this location

My husband teased me for wanting to have dinner at 4 o’clock, but when you have a hankering for good seafood, there’s simply no turning back! We split the Ultimate Feast and a side of King Crab legs, and it was just the right amount of food. I’m glad we had an early dinner, too, because it starting getting busy as we were leaving around 5 o’clock. Not the closest location to me, but I happened to be in the neighborhood and I’m so glad that I was!

The service was inattentive, the crab legs were dry, like so dry it was crab jerky! If my server would have asked how I was during my meal, or when he picked up my plate, I would have told him. But since not, I am here! Horrible!

This is the second time we have been to this red lobster location and is also the second time we have been served by Brandon. He is an awesome server and hits all his standards of service(which I know I’ve worked in the service industry for 7 years). On top of that he is very personable. He actually remember us from months ago. Remember where I worked and certain things that we like while we eat. He is an awesome server! Also since red lobster has updated their menu recently I’ve been in twice. Both times I got new menu items and both were exceptional! They’re doing a great job remarketing. If you check out this location ask for Brandon!

Went to our local Red Lobster the other night for dinner. Walked in and the restaurant was mostly empty. We were greeted then told it would«be a few minutes» wait as they had to clean tables. A couple minutes pass by… Another customer walks in and is greeted then immediately seated. Not sure if it was for a different area? We left. Won’t be returning to this location. Only went due to having been given a gift card.

The food was usual for Red Lobster. Nothing great or bad about it. The service was pretty bad. Slow and not very helpful. The was at the lunch hour. Mabie it was just an off day for our server. Mabie dinner time is better. Otherwise it was okay.

This Red Lobster is pretty consistent with other Red Lobsters I’ve visited. It can be extremely expensive, but we came for the endless shrimp promotion and really got some bang for our buck! The food itself was tasty; not super refined, but delicious and satisfying. My husband ordered at least one plate of every kind of shrimp and liked them all; my favorite is the breaded coconut shrimp, which is almost like dessert! One thing I don’t like about the endless shrimp is that the sides only come with your first plate of shrimp. If you unwittingly let the server take it away, then you’re stuck with shrimp and nothing else for the rest of the meal. My husband doesn’t mind this, of course, but it would bother me. I opted for the four-course meal, which I find less heavy and having better variety: soup(clam chowder), salad, entrée(shrimp and scallop linguine), and dessert(key lime pie). Everything I ate was yum-yum-yummy! No complaints there. And if I were rating on the food alone, this would have been a four-star review. The service, however, was a gigantic question mark. At one point during the middle of the meal, our waitress disappeared for over half an hour. There was another couple in her section who were very near to us. They sat at their table without any drinks or plates the whole time; at least we still had some water. It finally got so bad after about thirty minutes that I asked another server(who was cleaning and rolling up silverware instead of noticing that customers needed service) if our waitress had gone on break, it had been so long since we’d seen her. She was really surprised by my question, and(to her credit) instantly went off and got our waitress for us. The whole thing was very strange. Not that it ruined the meal, but my poor husband was hungry and had to wait for every tiny plate of shrimp(you can only order one plate at a time, and they get smaller and smaller as you go), so the delay meant that we had to stay longer than we wanted. The meal ended up taking well over two hours, probably closer to two and a half. Fortunately, once she came back, our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

I know — a chain seafood restaurant… but I am a sucker for the cheesy biscuits and the clam chowder. Again, you always know what to expect and this is a good location with a very friendly staff. Sometimes you just gotta go do it!
