Taco Mojo

Taco Mojo played such a huge part in making our reception perfect. Everything tasted so fresh, and our guests thoroughly loved it. My partner and I received so many compliments from everyone — they were blown away and couldn’t believe how fun it was to have a taco bar and we had a lot of picky eaters. The staff was professional and accommodating without being in the way. And working with Monte was so easy. He wanted to make sure we know how everything would work. We aren’t fussy people, so it was great to work with the owner, and someone who is passionate without being over the top. Tonia was the perfect captain, too. She was so helpful throughout the whole process. We were really impressed with what Taco Mojo on our big day and would recommend them without hesitation. I almost forgot — the barbacoa was amazing!

Taco Mojo did a fantastic job at our Halloween party this past weekend. Their website is great — informative and transparent pricing. Communications with Monte were smooth and he was very helpful when deciding what to include, what selections were most popular, etc. The van pulled up outside our house right on time, about an hour before our guests arrived, and the Taco Mojo staff member was very courteous and efficient — she set everything up, lit the sterno, offered to dress the salads, set out the utensils, and even took care of details like wiping off the inside of the bowls so everything looked perfect — I loved the non-​disposable serving platters, utensils, etc — they looked much fancier than the disposable platters we’ve had from other caterers. Food was delicious — I think a taco bar is perfect for a big party with a variety of kids, adults, picky eaters, gluten free, vegetarians, low carbers, etc. We had black beans, rice, grilled veggies, citrus chicken, shredded beef, hard shells and soft tortillas, the house salad with corn, and all the fixins — including plenty of delicious guacamole which was a big hit and did not turn brown! Tortillas and chips tasted homemade — amazing. We had a lot of other desserts at the party so the sugar cookies were a bit overlooked, but they were big and quite yummy as well. I could have used a bit more spice and might put out some hot sauce for next time, but the mild-​medium spicing was just fine for a group with a lot of kids. For cleanup, we just packed up leftovers and loaded the serving trays, chafing dishes, etc into the tubs Taco Mojo provided, and they picked everything up the next day. Overall, this was the easiest, most complete, and delicious «drop off» catering experience we’ve had at our annual party — and the pricing is incredibly reasonable for the very high quality food and service.
