Came in on a Tuesday morning to find this Le Cruset set that has been sold out at a few stores closer to me. I finally found it with the help of a sale associate. She also found the sale price for it and I saved almost $ 120.00. I love coming to this store but it’s always dangerous! This was my first time at the location and the service was great.

Totally disappointed per my last visit here. Years ago I used to *love* going. to the store… so much that my kids drew a picture of the store on front of. a mothers day card they made. The item I was looking for was not in stock. They said they could order it for me with free shipping. Free shipping was already available to me if I ordered it myself online. It was already in my cart online so it was of little value to me for them to order the item, unless they could get it to me faster so I asked them. They told me yes they could. So I started my order with them and when it came to shipping I noticed she didn’t change it to a faster shipping. I inquired about it and she said if I wanted it shipped faster I would have to pay for it. Duh! I had that option if I ordered it myself. But if I ordered it myself I would have my all my info in my account already. When I mentioned. this to her she put me on a guilt trip that if I ordered it with her the store would get the credit instead of corporate. By giving the store the credit it helps keep the lights on, etc. Wow. Now I felt badly if I didn’t make the effort of sharing my name, address, credit card info, etc. with her to type it in. I not only took the time to drive to the store, wait for them to look if they had the item, and suffered through a huge guilt trip… and still didn’t have the item I wanted. I felt awful in the car that I just got bullied into doing something I didn’t want to do. My visit was far from the great customer service and purchasing experience I remembered it to be. Perhaps they are moving towards a catalog business model now. What made it worse is that my item was delivered 4 days later than when it said it would be delivered. It also turned out not to be the one I wanted. :(

I tried the Williams-Sonoma Bellegem(sic) Waffle Mix today. It is excellent. I may never make waffles from scratch again!

Went in to look for holiday ideas, tried some very delicious mulled cider, which prompted me to buy the mulling spices for a gift. Then it took 20 minutes to pay for the darn jar of spices, with only 2 customers ahead of me! One cashier didn’t know how to do a return, so a manager had to get involved, while a second cashier rang up the other customer SLOWLY and then seemed to not see us at the counter for a good 10+ minutes, and she turned to serve someone a piece of cake. We were totally ignored the entire time we waited. One of the ladies could have said«I will be right with you» but no, we didn’t exist. I came within seconds of leaving my items on the counter and walking out. It was the worst, unfriendliest service in the shopping center. Not worth waiting for.
