What a disappointment
Have been there a few times before and food was ok but not great, and service was not too good. The food is overpriced for the quantity and quality.
This time nothing was right, the food was just fair, the sausage was dried up and overcooked, the ribs were over cooked and the service was terrible. While the woman at the counter was very friendly she just couldn’t get it right. She messed up the orders, the food took way too long and our two dinners came out about 10 minutes apart. We were the only people in the place. Maybe it’s because she never got off the phone.
The woman at the counter was on the phone the whole time and stayed in the back for a long time… was she working on our order? To top it off, she interrupted her nonstop phone conversation to ask us to buss up when we were finished.

Highly priced for the amount of food! Chicken and Sausage were very very dry. Never again. Only reason I gave them 2 stars is cuz service was great.

When I first walked in I had high hopes. It smelled like smoke. But that all changed when I ate my food.
I got the sliced brisket sandwich. The bread was stale, and the most upsetting part about it was, THEY CUT OFF THE CRUST on the brisket. That chard edge holds alot of the smoke flavor. WHY WHY would you cut that off. And then there was the portion size. There was only 3 thin slices of brisket on there. It was pretty sad looking on the big stale bun.
The reason I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is because my wife got the chop and it was good and flavorful. Still on a stale bun, but you could taste that chard edge in there.
The cold slaw tasted like plastic and the green bean where just ordinary can green beans.
Don’t see this place making it.

Disappointed that every time I come there they are closed. Got there at 8:01 pm on the weekend and they were closed. Came by today and they closed at 5:45 pm. Next time I want bbq brisket, going some place else.

I love love their ribs! I have also had their brisket «wet» and it was fabulous. It had a great homestyle «bark» on the meat which I don’t find often. I have only been here for lunch and have not experienced them running out of anything. The servings are generous as well. Yum… I will definitely be back!

I give it four stars because the service was great along the food. I ordered a chicken and sausage plate but they were out of sausage so he comp’d me with brisket. Between my kids and I we ate it all up. Hopefully business picks up more for them because I’d love to see more mom and pop businesses stay open.

We went here because the other restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. We walked in and Lionel Ritchy was playing over the speakers now there’s nothing wrong with a little Lionel but it just wasn’t yelling out BBQ to me. I ordered the two meat plate brisket and sausage and the woman asked me if I wanted wet or dry brisket I told her wet. We sat down and the food came out pretty quick. The brisket was dry and as well as the sausage. I got the feeling that this wasn’t too fresh. I also got the beans and my girlfriend got the other kind of beans. That was the highlight of our meal. So if your in the mood for beans then I would say head on over, but if you want some good BBQ well you might want to pass this place up. On a side note their sauce was different in a good way but as Texans we don’t value sauce when it comes to good BBQ
