I just had the worst customer service experience here at Aldo. First, when I asked the lady to check a certain size for me, she replied by saying that this particular design was not on sale. She refused to get a size lower for me until I would commit to buying the shoe Then, when I had a second pair that I liked. Same story. I requested a size smaller than the one on display. Sales lady says she needs a size. I told her I don’t know what size the sample is and she could look it on the shoe. More rudeness with a quick snub is all she had to offer. I am not coming back.

I had a good experience here today. I picked out a pair of shoes, the woman associate(didn’t get her name) asked if I needed assistance, got me another size and recommended insoles. Great customer service and will be back! The shoes are very cute here.

Went in expecting the worst based on previous reviews, but I actually had a decent experience. I was greeted by Robin at the counter immediately to left of the entrance when I walked in(awkward set-up). My mission was to exchange one of the bags I bought a month ago, but started falling apart. Their website said no exchanges if worn, and initially I got some hesitation when I asked for one, but another Aldo store associate(at Stoneridge) was completely fine with it but didn’t have the bag in stock. Luckily, I didn’t have to unleash the rage of the frugal shopper because her manager OK’ed it. Long story short, there was searching through storage, there was digging through shelves, there was an offer to ship to my house, and there was no luck. Finally she asked a manager to look for the bag and… Success! The exchange was made with no further delay and I walked out with a new bag on my shoulder. Maybe I got lucky since Robin was on the case, but I was a satisfied customer that day.

November 12, 2014 As I walked in couldn’t really distinguish the employees from the shoppers. No one greeted me or asked if I needed assistance, and the store was fairly empty. Customer service is completely lacking. Secondly, there were shoes everywhere! It made me not even want to continue shopping. Check out the picture I posted, absolutely horrible. Management seriously needs to do something about the store.

The girls here are soooo stuck up and rude! I stood in the for a good ten minutes, no greeting, no assistance & seriously see me with shoes in my hand and just walk away!!! But had the audacity to ask me where I got my shirt and walked away before I can ask for my shoe size! Wtf!?! What kind of service is that?

This would have been a five-star review if it was just for Adrian. Honestly, he’s the only reason I didn’t drop my boxes on the floor and leave. He was super-helpful, sweet, and fast. Employee-of-the-year level performance. My friend and I both loved shopping with him. Then we got in line and waited about 15 minutes for two customers ahead of us, who were high maintenance and demanding, and two cashiers who seemed really bored, really unmotivated to move quickly, and completely detached from their work. The customers behind us in line were making faces at us, and vice versa, as we commiserated how they honestly broadcast that they didn’t give a eff how long we had to wait. Like I said, would have just sat my shoes on the floor and walked out, except Adrian was awesome to us, and the shoes were really sharp. Still, don’t see me returning to this store. I don’t like waiting in a two-person line longer than I browsed, selected, tried on, and finalized my decisions. The cashiers weren’t snapping their gum while I stood there, but they might as well have been…

What can I say? I was never really aware of Aldo — yes yes, I am a nerd, not knowledgeable with any-wear except«software»(terrible pun, even *I* know), what did you expect? — so when I walked in, I didn’t know what to expect. Apparently, the store had opened very recently, going by how I had to create an entry for it on Unilocal before I could check-in. The pretty girl there was pretty helpful and got me a bunch of shoes to try on. Try on I did, and quickly decided on the pair you see in the pictures alongside my review. And off I went along my merry way, to save the world for another day.
