I made the trip today from San Jose today for the express purpose of picking up a ‘no iron’ shirt. I ended up getting two shirts and a tie because of the amazing customer service. Roger introduced himself to me, was no pressure but full of knowledge. He gave me options and advice without trying to «sell me». Thank you for making me feel welcome and appreciating my business.

I had an outstanding experience here recently that I wanted to share. I was looking for a suit for my rehearsal dinner. My first stop was Barney’s a few stores down. The staff there was marginally helpful, but I was having a hard time finding a full suit that fit me. I went over to Brooks Brothers on a whim and they helped me straight away. A gentleman, I think his name was Brendan, look my measurements and found the suit I was looking for. Best of all, they allow you to mix and match jacket and pants sizes. He was incredibly patient with me and pointed out suggestions for shirt/tie color combinations. My only gripe is I thought the ties/shirts were overly pricey. But the suits were a great deal. Highly recommend this place.

I came in for four polos, size large, two black &2 red. Also 2 pairs of pleated shorts waist size 38. They didn’t have any of them. Nothing. Lots and lots of extra small. Very much like a going out of business sale.

The staff here were really professional and knowledgable about sizing. I got measured for a shirt really quickly. Really nice discounts compared to the normal brooks brothers store in San Francisco. Luis was a really helpful manager! He told me about a coupon book from the Paragon Guest Services, which saved me 15%! Nice. Thanks guys

Rude, rude rude! Clerk was sprawled over the counter with her large backside on display complaining she had not made her numbers. No wonder. I asked for the manager and she said she was the manager. I’ve been shopping at Brooks Brothers since I started buying school uniforms in the ’70’s and I have never been called BITCH as I left the store.

I seriously had no luck with customer service yesterday. I get that I should not expect much from an outlet store but I think I have the right to hold these higher end stores to a higher standard — outlet location or not — given the prices they charge. I know that I am def. much younger than Brooks Brothers’ target demo but their clothes are nice so I was looking to invest. When I walked in, the store was pretty empty, save for a handful of other customers. There were two employees who were immediately visible to me. One was at the register, and he seemed really friendly. The other was on the floor, but she was more concerned about restocking the shelves than helping me out or even greeting me. Whatever. I picked out a few items, and walked to the other side of the store where the fitting rooms are(mind you, this is a pretty spacious location). There was a third employee there tending to the suits and we made eye contact, so I could tell she knew that I was heading for the fitting rooms. And yet she chose not to provide any customer service. She didn’t ask me if she could get me a fitting room or if she could grab anything else for me. Nope. She made me help myself to a fitting room… and that’s precisely what I did. I made sure I left a mess for her to clean up. That’s what she gets for being pretentious and profiling me.

I get it, your level of expectation for customer service is a bit lower for«outlet shopping» ! But I do expect a higher standard from Brooks Brothers. Even though a $ 70 shirt sells for $ 40 you should still be greeted upon entering the store, approached while shopping and thanked upon departure. You know, «THEBASICSOFCUSTOMERSERVICE» ! The store was not that busy and they had plenty of staff-on-hand who seemed busy with tasks, not related to servicing the customers(folding clothes, etc.). We visited a number of other shops in this vast outlet mall and all of our other customer service encounters exceeded our expectations. It’s really not that difficult, all it usually takes is management that makes service a priority, which obviously is not the case here. It’s this kind of experience that drives me back to on-line shopping.

Don’t know why the reviews are so bad here! The associates were really friendly, and we were greeted right when we walked in and asked what we were looking for.(Not to mention, they were dressed impeccably and super handsome!!) Of course, we went straight to the 70% off section, and we definitely scored some good deals. Now this is an outlet, so it will hit or miss, especially with the big discounted items. Nevertheless, I got a wool blazer for $ 90. Originally over $ 300! However, the non-clearance items can still add up. $ 300 for coats, $ 200 for suit pants. $ 500 for a Brooks Brothers suit still isn’t that bad. Shirts still range around $ 70 and polos around $ 60 which is disappointing since I don’t consider that outlet prices. And who says middle age? Dressing classy doesn’t have a number, boo boo. My lawyer friends also scored some blazers and t-shirts for work. Great find!!!

Assistant sales manager is discourteous to say the least. I visited this store on a Friday night and it was completely empty and I’m not surprised due to the lack of professionalism and manners displayed by the asst. sales manager that was on duty. I shop at the flagship store in the city frequently and though I only live 10 mins away from the outlets, I will not be making a trip to this store. Disappointing but true.

Brooks Brothers’ clothes seem suited to the middle age and up genre. fashion seem conservative. clothes seem pricey: –scharfs(89) –shirts(80 – 140) –pants(80+) not surprising, markdowns were 50−60% off storewide. thread: –got a warm welcome upon entering from salesperson. –suits, clothes applicable for that special occasion. –will return on a «need to» basis.
