Sodexo notoriously cuts corners as much as it can. The food here is cheap and low quality but not necessarily priced as such. That said, in this venue they cater to a unique and semi-captive clientele, so it’s easy to fall into a rut and keep on eatin’ there. Recent years have seen the hosting of outside restaurants on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which offers welcome relief from the monotonous offerings. The staff here is terrific. I’ve not yet met one employee who wasn’t friendly, funny, or amenable to helping. They get to know and joke with their regulars and work hard while dodging cutbacks and layoffs left and right.
