I got the Jambon Fromage sandwich and Caesar combo. If you like Brie, it might be OK for you. It had too much buttery taste and wasn’t good at all. I also got a Mocha which was alright, I just wish it was a bit warmer. I love the décor, and the people working there are very nice. I would come back here just based on the atmosphere(not the food so much).

Nice addition to the downtown. Excellant selection of specialty pastries. A little pricey for the portion. Try the cold press coffee. Not bitter at all. Didn‘t even need to add sugar or cream. Service is prompt and polite. Wish them the best.. .

I gotta give this one another try. I had the iced coffee that was recommended and it was tasty but I should have gone with something that would be easier to compare. They did have filled beignets which is always a delight but touch sweet for me. Sigh, such a bummer to try a place with good reviews but wonder if you just made the wrong call…

Cute place visually. However I found hair in my fruit bowl… Addressed the disgust. I was not even offered a refund or another.

Appellation d’origine contrôlée(AOC) means the French have the food game on lock down! There are only a handful of regions, in France, where AOC butter(at 82% butterfat content) can come from. More fat content means more flaky buttery goodness! La PanotiQ gets their butter from one of these regions and it shows. The first bite I took of my Madagascar Raspberry Cream Cake literally, not figuratively, melted in my mouth. Like a tasty, buttery, creamy, raspberry tarty cotton candy cake! Not heavy or dense just delicious. The Chocolate Carmel Brownie was… dense. It took some team work to get though the layers of chocolate and shortbread. I am not usually a fan of brownies or dark chocolate so I was impressed that I enjoyed it. We usually get our coffee from here. Dark Roast Bicycle whole beans at ~$ 15 per pound. This is a great place to kill a half hour and enjoy a treat! The space is inviting in a botiuqe type of way.

Found this place on Unilocal app after pretty much figuring there would be nothing fabulous in Livermore(I definitely stopped off in the wrong part of town.). This place was exception, coffee was delicious(moms a coffee snob) and all the food items we sampled were divine. I will definitely make this pit stop again!

Every Time I have been here to order a quick bite it takes at least 30 minutes even if it’s a to go order. The cheese and egg croissant only had egg and when I came back to tell them, the lady told me that there was cheese on it and that what do you want me to do about it? She was rude and didn’t try to make it right considering there were people ahead of us receiving their order. I think they forgot out order and made it in a rush. Slow slow slow! I don’t mind waiting a little but not for a chain! Going to support the local French bakery in town from now on. Lost a costumer for life. I will never go back.

I walked in and it was absolutely chic, and parfait! It was so cutely decorated for the holiday spirits. It was my first time, and I’m not really into small boutique bakeries. There was such attention to detail and atmosphere that I would have given it a five stars regardless of the food(haha, jk, maybe like, at least three from interior design). The cashier was really friendly. I looked up the menu online first, and it was a little confusing. I ended up getting the coconut flan and a hot chocolate. My lunch date ordered lemon meringue with the most adorable peppermint mocha. The pricing is a little high, but then again, these are desserts that require skill and time to make, so I’m not complaining. After enjoying our food inside, I ordered a raspberry tart and an Americana to go. Came in the cutest box too. Gosh, freaking lovely. I think between myself and my date, we spent around $ 20 just on the in-person food. Like I said, the interior is just absolutely lovely. I think the kinks of a natural flow/interaction would improve this place. I really hope it stays! I know a lot of small businesses near the movies haven’t really stayed a while. I honestly would like to try every single thing on the menu.

Lovely, petit, authentic french bakery which show the pride of ownership and care that the owners display towards the cuisine. Right next to the Livermore movie theatre and walking distance from so many great restaurants in downtown, this is a perfect little pit stop after dinner for a cappuccino and a small desert pastry.

I was impressed when I walked into this place last month with a friend. I thought it looked cool and the pastries looked good. We were looking forward to trying some. We settled down with a coffee and pastries when two women walked in. I am guessing they were from the company by the way they were interacting with the store people. One of them, a wild haired woman that we had seen smoking outside earlier, went behind the counter and started rearranging the pastries with her bare hands without washing them. She also started picking up baguettes etc with her hands(no gloves) and arranging them for sale. Obviously, hygiene is not much of a consideration for them. The pastries were already rather disappointing in taste but after we saw the scene behind the counter, we lost our appetite and walked out of there. Not going back. I don’t wish to get E. Coli or Salmonella for the holidays. Thanks!

3 things: Quality, Price in relation the quality, service/atmosphere. 1. Quality — the quality of baked goods and even drinks is not good. It’s average at best. The baked goods all look stale and somewhat old. Definitely not freshly baked. — 1 Star lost. 2. Price/Quality ratio — naturally this will be low if the quality of the product is not good unless the price is really cheap. Unfortunately, the prices are also above average(on the higher side). 1 Star lost. 3. The atmosphere and the service — is pretty good. It’s always very clean and has a neat design inside, the staff are fairly friendly. Free spa water and tap. Only knock is when it’s closing time they don’t mess around… within 5 minutes all the tables/chairs are put away and lights are being turned off. — Neutral Been here on 3 different occasions(all in the evening after diner) and this review is the sum of those experiences. It’s located in a incredible spot(next to the movie theater), but they have to improve. For me it’s barely 3 stars, I want this place to be better I want to have lots of nice cafes in the DTL(Downtown Livermore :))

What a nice way to end a beautiful afternoon walk in Livermore downtown — great dessert and great coffee ! Perfect atmosphere, excellent choice of pastries and small cakes, caffe latte is a real thing. It is so hard to find good coffee in the area that is actually served in a nice and clean porcelain cup and not that paper to go cup. I really enjoyed sipping my latte and eating a tart full of fresh apples and berries. My husband enjoyed his maple pecan twist. And of course, we had to try that popular coconut flan — delicious !!! They even have a big pitcher/dispenser with flavored water(fresh fruit inside) and clean glasses(not plastic glasses) available in dining area. Staff is very friendly and welcoming! We can’t wait to burn some calories and go back to try other sweets. I am looking forward for another cup of café latte too.

A little too precious and I don’t remember any bakeries in France really looking like this. Still, l loved the atmosphere. Color scheme in black, greys and different tones of lavender, violet and purple. The huge blackboard with a chalk drawing of the Eiffel Tower set the mood. The uncluttered space was light, bright and airy with glass front display cases showcasing their wares. Stopped by to pick up a bite for breakfast on the way to a business networking event so couldn’t linger. Got a torsade, a twist of(puff?) pastry filled with chocolate and custard. The outside was crispy. Meanwhile, the custard disappears into the dough while baking, making the inside soft and tender. Good to eat on the go, at room temp. A little messy with the flaky crumbs but at least there was no custard oozing out to stain my business suit. Also couldn’t resist the chocolate hazelnut beignet. These 3 words transported me to sugar heaven even before the first bite. Not as good as the torsade because the Nutella filling was not evenly distributed when it was injected into the doughnut. The beignet itself was light and airy. Not greasy at all but actually the half without filling was a bit dry to consume on its own. At the last minute, I picked up a mini canelé de Bordeaux, a cake with a custardy interior and a deeply caramelized exterior. Looks similar to a bundt cake with tall fluted sides but with a depression in the center instead of a hole. Acceptable but this wasn’t my favorite. I’ve had the real thing and I think miniaturizing the dessert took away the signature, custard-like texture of the cake. On the one hand, I don’t think the exterior had enough of that rum and«almost burnt» sugar taste. On the other hand, I liked the fact that the exterior wasn’t waxy, which tends to happen if the cake molds are«greased» with too much beeswax. Even though all this good stuff set me back a pretty penny, I can’t wait to go back. Very impressed with the quality of the product despite this place being part of a «chain.» There are so many things I want to try. I saw liege waffles, the original Belgian waffle. I want to see how close they come to the real thing. If they use real pearl sugar, I’ll be a dedicated fan. I also want to try the coconut flan that everybody is raving about. And then there’s the savory stuff …

I’ve reviewed La PanotiQs across the bay area, and their Livermore location maintains the high quality. — Inviting ambiance. — Homemade almond milk! How many places offer homemade almond milk? — The fudge brownie is excellent. — The service is more attentive than I would expect for a café(versus a full-service restaurant). — Coconut. Flan. — Wide and varied selection of sweets, including some really unique fruit-based desserts. — Delicious sandwiches! My favorite is still the tuna, but I also enjoyed the Cesar chicken sandwich(which seems to be relatively new).

I want to tell you how enthusiastic I am over the Coconut Flan, Raspberry Crumble Tart, Opera Cake, Chocolate Runny Heart Macaroon, and Chocolate Tresor — I know, I know, I’m supposed to talk about the salad and sandwiches that should come before. Well, forget health, I’m a French dessert fanatic. However, they messed up on two of my two [long drive] trips. Granted, they apologized both times and made it up to me. First time, they forgot to pack dessert but said it was complimentary if I came back(I did). Second time, I was seduced by the prospect of a hot chocolate and it was the most gorgeous preparation of one I’ve ever seen — except it was below lukewarm. The girl cashier was pretty and I didn’t want to bother her or make her feel bad about her mistake. So pretty, I didn’t want to criticize her drink making. But, come on, long day and all, and I just had to say something after driving so far here. I got a good Bicycle Co. Coffee replacement. But geez, I’ve yet to have a marvelous time here and looks like one could easily have a marvelous time here. For you to know, I have the feeling«La PanotiQ» is going to be fantastic for most, and you’ll have ten chocolate fingers to lick by the time you’re done. It’s just that Me and This Place have had no luck together so far. #borderline

Came here on a burning hot afternoon and I couldn’t wait to sit down and relax inside their cute bakery. Their coffee is absolutely great! They use a brew called Bicycle Coffee, and it’s very rich and flavorful. BUT, the highlight and shining star of this place is their bakery. Their croissants(chocolate filled or not) and chocolate chip custard filled twists are THE most perfect pastries I’ve ever eaten in my life: flakey and lightly crispy on the outside and absolutely soft, warm and gooey on the inside. You can tell they bake their treats with love: D Their sandwiches are also good, but not as special as their pastries. Everything tastes like a dream and I’m dying to come back to try more! Ambiance: 4⁄5 Food: 5⁄5 Service: 5⁄5 Overall Experience: 4.5÷5

La PanotiQ, it’s great to have you around. Now we know you’re just a short walk from my favorite BBQ joint I’ll be stopping here for deserts from now on. It’s probably good that PanotiQ isn’t a short trip from San Ramon, or I would probably visit more than my weight or wallet would appreciate. Sorry, this is a long one, but there’s lots to say. One of their points of pride is the in-house made almond milk, which is quite good. My family drinks almond milk in a number of different things we make, but I didn’t try any of their coffee drinks with it. For me if it’s not whole milk then it just doesn’t have the right richness or mouth feel when you’re thinking coffee drinks. Speaking of coffee, they service Bicycle Coffee which has a good flavor but could be brewed just a bit stronger. They do have cold brewed coffee on tap(literally) and if you haven’t tried it I highly recommend it. Much better than just iced coffee, cold brewed is a mellower but still rich drink. We were lucky enough to sample a wide array of the shops items and I can honestly say there wasn’t a bad thing on my plate this afternoon. We tried the regular croissants(good, but not head and shoulders over what can be found at other places in the east bay) and a special croissant like pastry with chocolate and custard inside(wowzers that’s good). We tried two of their salads out to eat. We had the Frisee(light and fresh) and the Cesar; which is well balanced with a light amount of anchovy in the dressing and has great croutons but no anchovy in the salad itself. We tried the Speck, Saucisson, and Legumes sandwiches, each had a great flavor profile with enough moisture to keep it together but without getting it all soggy. They also serve a good risotto. If I end up out here during lunch and I’m not getting BBQ I’ll be here for a ½−½ salad and sandwich. Finally, the deserts. We took a box of these to-go to share with the kiddo(it was tempting no to, but then he saw them and we had to share). We had toooo many different things both there are to-go for me to mention them all but I can say our favorites were clearly the Ivory Mango Passion, and the extra large salted caramel macaroon. Why four stars? I’m hesitant to give any place five stars when I’m reviewing it in a non-usual environment(like a Unilocal event) but you can be sure I’ll try this place again and will update my review after I’ve had more experience with the day-to-day service and staff experience. I think it’s best to be a bit on the cautious side now and bump it up later than take away a star if I feel it’s needed.

The ambiance was extremely cozy and inviting. My boyfriend and I came in here for a nice afternoon coffee pick me up. I noticed multiple signs reading«try a latte!» perhaps this was a slogan to the type of coffee beans they use(?). I got a latte with soy milk, BUT they did not even have soy milk. As a good alternative, they offered almond milk. I ended up getting: an almond milk latte, a tcho mocha, coconut flan The almond milk latte was definitely not what I was expecting. Perhaps it was the almond milk that did not mix well with the espresso? But it definitely seemed like they gave me a double americano with almond milk foam on top. I couldn’t even stomach the whole 12 oz cup. Boyfriend said the tcho mocha was good. I didn’t try this, so I have no say in this review. However, he likes almost anything with dark chocolate. Not sure how sound his opinion is. The coconut flan was… just alright. It wasn’t amazing. I had high expectations for this one too. I DID end up leaving with a 32 oz growler of cold brew. That made me happy :) All in all, I’m not totally discounting La PanotiQ, but I will not be reordering a latte.

DGD the younger and I stopped in today to try this new spot out. Sammies sound delectable, but we took out a small Chocolate Macaroon for her, and 2 twisted pastries called Torsdade… with chocolate chips, for hubby and me later. She ate her cookie on the way home and declared it *yummy and chocolaty*…she is turning 5 this weekend, but has quite a sophisticated palate! All I can say as a Dubliner is, I am so jealous! Our pastries were buttery, flaky and had a nice chewy inner texture. We will be back for more, and lunch for sure!!!

If you’re going to get one Bakery item from here make it the Black Pearl( ) $ 5.50. Seriously rich and delicious Dessert for any Chocoholic. I’m not much of a Chocolate Dessert person but upon the recommendations of the nice girl serving me I purchased this myself and didn’t regret it one little bit( ). A dense sponge like base with a chocolate dome that once cracked open is filled with rich Chocolate Mousse and a Raspberry coulis I was in Chocolate heaven for all of 5 minutes while I devoured it. I also purchased some of the Chocolate Tresor( ) for my Husband which are essentially Chocolate coated Profiteroles(Cream Puffs) also filled with Chocolate. Aside from the Bakery items Sandwiches, Salads, Yogurt and Fruit are also available with lot’s of seating both inside and outside to enjoy. Staff are also very friendly too and are able to answer any questions I had with ease. One thing I hope they would change is the take out boxes for the Bakery items. Such delicate desserts needs more than the standard container. My poor Black Pearl was completely smushed and not so pretty by the time I got home. I’m glad I took a picture as soon as I left the store to mail my Girlfriend otherwise I wouldn’t have had one for my review. Boo.
