One of the cheaper gas stations around. Pretty nice. No complaints! Would definitely say it’s a convenience since it’s near downtown.

I was nearly on fumes returning from San Jose. I was a bit shocked at the prices the GasBuddy app was showing me. The refiners have been increasing the prices, but the filling stations have been really pushing since around Memorial Day.
This station was around 40 cents cheaper for diesel. It’s a little cramped but many of the pumps have diesel available. Naturally, since vehicles are split between filler doors on the left and filler doors on the right, it’s difficult to predict which pump will be available. I had to reverse into position.
At $ 3.179, almost any problem could be forgiven. Most everything was okay but the receipt paper was not available. I entered the store and once the cashier was aware of my presence, he was pleasant enough, and gave me my receipt.

So my elderly dad — 75 — who speaks great English but has an accent went in here on Monday, April 13. He’s been going here when he visits for over five years. Well on this day, the con was on and it was coming from behind the counter.
My dad pays cash for everything. So he walks in and gives the Asian guy who’s working a $ 50 bill. My dad goes out to pump and the pump cuts off at $ 30. My dad goes in and asks why the pump stops and the Asian guy promptly tells my dad that he never paid. My dad reminds the clerk that he gave the clerk $ 50. Then the clerk threatens to call the police. The Caucasian girl working there backs up her buddy. My dad tells them to go ahead and call the police but they never do. After a brief standoff my dad gives up and goes home to tell me.
Of course I’m fuming. The idiots working there took advantage of an elderly man who they perceived as a foreigner. Seriously messed up. I’ve already got my dad to complain to Shell corporate and to the BBB. The two crooks behind the counter are typical in that they can’t even do their crime correct. At least pull the old, «you gave me a $ 20, not a $ 50» routine. But if my dad never paid, why cut him off after $ 30? Why let the pump go in the first place?
I don’t care if I had to push my empty car to the overpriced Chevron up the road; I’ll never stop here again.

Been coming to this station for years and years. Clean, new pump stations, new management and friendly staff, stocked of goodies in the store and the lowest price in town (non-​Costco).

I’m so happy I found this gas station! Right on South P and First Street in downtown Livermore, branded, all credit cards accepted, usually with the lowest (non-​Costco) prices, with clean and new pumping stations.
Now if I ever find myself desperately short on gas like I did this evening after my workout, I can fill up downtown instead of going out of my way to North Vasco or needing to decipher the crazy lane changes on Fourth Street to get to Rotten Robbie on East Avenue. I’m so happy I found this gas station.
