Valley Pool Center

No fancy bells or whistles just good pool products and good advice. Been going to Valley Pool for quite a number of years now, it’s the old fashioned kind of place not some chain.

Dealt with these guys for years, they know pools and are straight.

Stoped in to get a on/​off switch for my pool timer which cannot be found at any hardware store. Knew exactly what I was looking for and pointed me too it immediately, price was also good. They were really friendly (the lab brining me the tennis ball was also really cool), I would definitely go back for other pool parts.

You can go to the discount store about half a mile up the road, or save money and go to Valley Pool Center. The people here know about pools, it is not just a job to them, they live the pool business. They seem more interested in saving me money which I truly appriciate. Highly recommended as they know what they are doing, not guessing the answer.

Be careful when google searching for this business, it comes up as Valley Pool Service, which is a different Company. This is definitely the company you want to do business with! Hands down better than Leslie’s or any other folks I’ve dealt with.
The folks there like Bob are EXTREMELY knowledgeable and helpful, and a great reminder of what customer service and support were like in the good ol ‘days.
My latest example, my pump motor went out, went to Leslie’s, didn’t really offer much insight, other than to sell me a 700.00 pump, and then tried to upsell me to to a 1300.00 pump, not telling me that I’d also need new timer wiring etc. Earliest I could get anything was 7 – 10 days. Went back to where I should have gone in the first place (here). they tested/​confirmed it was the pump, not the motor, ordered the parts,(motor, diffuser, seals, etc.) assembled and gave it back to me ready to install. Half the price and in two days.
Don’t waste your time going anywhere else.
I used to be one who was afraid to mess with my pool, paid for full pool service, can’t anymore, these guys make the transition to do it yourself so easy!
