Mountain Mike’s Pizza

Love this place. I’ve always liked their pizzas, since I was in high school in the ‘80s. But their GLUTEN FREE pizza is the absolute BEST anyone makes! I’ve tried ALL of the chains and I will absolutely vouch for this one. You can’t even tell its gluten free. It just tastes like a good thin crust pizza. Because of Mountain Mikes, my whole family can enjoy pizza again!

I doubt the manager of this place reads the Unilocalers comments. That’s the only conclusion I can draw given how poorly this place is rated.
The pizza at this location is fine. Same as any other mountain mikes. However I’m giving it two starts because repeatedly I’ve ordered delivery and I’ve been told it will be 45 minutes. An hour and a half later I get the pizza. Usually it’s lukewarm and I have to put it in the oven for a while. This past time I ordered the kid didn’t even have any cheese and peppers. Guess that’s what you get when you hire teenagers and don’t train them. Shocked this place is still in business.

First of all the Pizza is pretty darn good for a chain. Nice crispy crust which is far better than a flabby one. Myself and others rented out the «banquet» area before and everything turned out fair good, no complaints really. My only complaint is that when I called to place a take out order and asked for the coupons, they didn’t inform me of the coupons that we’re available online which are far better than $ 3 off a pizza. I, and you should do. Some searching online for some descent coupons before ordering. Overall pizza is good, family friendly with some video games, and good team room.

Bad experience!!!
I was there yesterday with my son for his basketball team party. It took her (Girl at the register) long time to locate my after calling my wife couple times and talking to her at the register, it was very frustrating moment for me. After all this she processed my order and i was going to pay and realize i left my money home. I told her to process my order and my son will stay and i will be back in 5 min as i live close to the place, this way i can save some time as we have to go for his another practice, had so much going on… She took the # tag from my hand and said sorry, we can not process the order until you pay, i feel so embarrassed in front of other peoples as it was very awkward situation. They should have some judgement of people, she think i will not pay for the pizza :-(Also found after calling my wife that they do not accept payment over the phone, weird as i was going to ask my wife to pay over the phone to avoid trip to home. I do not like the place any more, bad management, bad staff training… i hate it now.

The guy got mad because i drank a cup of soda with a water cup n didnt pay for it. Its 2015 man chill.

Absolutely disguisting pizza. I didn’t even want to finish it. Expensive too. I will no be coming back. They did have some cool arcade games for the kids but a few were broken.

We have been going to Mtn. Mike’s on First St. for a few years and it has been an okay pizza for the price. However, it is under new ownership and the prices have gone up so we’ll be shopping around. We paid $ 23 for a 10″ pizza, a salad and two drinks and that is after a senior discount. Also, the outside area has not been swept, I believe, for as long as we have been going there. Same cigarette butts on the sidewalk that have been there for a long time. Sorry to get priced out.

Customer service horrible! Ordering and picking up our pizza was a painful process. The girl who took our order and rang us up didn’t know what she was doing, when the manager was called in she straightened up the mistake but offered no apology or compensation. We usually order from big apple pizza but wanted to try here since it’s closer… poor first impression

Friendly. Looks like a lot of people like to come here with their kids. Enjoyable and can’t wait to get my pizza.

Pizza here is standard for a Mountain Mikes. Not much can be screwed up when the stuff is pre prepared and put on a conveyer belt. I ordered my pizza online and that was convenient. I picked it up myself and was 20 minutes early for the pick up. Not a big deal on my end and there was no rush. The pizzas were done on time.

We come here when we are desperate. The place is dirty, the food in their salad bar is nasty, and their customer service is terrible. As with most chains, it is hit and miss every time you order.

I ordered a pizza here the other day as a gift for my boyfriend while he was working. Figured it would get to his heart faster than flowers lol. The lady on the phone was great, patient, and knew exactly what I was asking for. She even asked me what time I wanted the pizza delivered and although she could not give me a guarantee (I totally understand I’ve been in customer service almost ten years) my order made it even earlier than I asked. I’m not a huge pizza fan, but her excellent customer service made a fan of this place. My boyfriend and his coworkers thought the pizza was really yummy!

As most restaurants this place has mainly minimum wage paid employees. That being said, the service is as expected. When it’s super busy you will have longer wait times, when it’s slow things should go pretty quickly. If you are ordering on a Friday or Saturday night just order early.
I don’t think commenting on the way people look, like the other reviewer Rob O., has anything to do with food or service and is mean and immature.
The pizza is good and some employees are better than others. Just remember to bring your coupons and call ahead.

Two words: STAY AWAY!
Dined in this horror establishment with shady cashier and a filthy floor. Entire employees moping around like they had to work at a gunpoint.
Ordered 20″ Pikes Peak minus Ham and with THIN crust. Pikes Peak is all meat pizza, mind you. «This life sucks» teenager girl with Texas-​Chainsaw-​makeup, served us the pizza with pineapples on it. It was sent back in favor for all meat pizza. Second one came and it had hand tossed crust rather than thin crust that we ordered. To add insult to injury, the pizza dough was not cooked entirely. To top that, this establishment lacks hospitality by far and have no love when crafting pizzas for the customers. Again, stay away from this business at all cost.

They helped me out for the holidays. They should have 10 stars for Nordstroms like customer service. The pizzas and wings were excellent. Give them a try.

I have been coming here for years as a 37 year livermore resident. This mountain mikes has gone to crap. Delivery times are horrible, pizza is frequently cold. I was told by delivery driver that he could not bring red pepper or Parmesan cheese because the new owners won’t let him. When I called the restaurant the «manager» told me that wasn’t true, then immediately told me she had been on the job 1 day and could not help me. Buyer beware!

I normally don’t waste my time on places not worth giving a review but this is my second time here and I’ve had no luck. They have bad customer service. They don’t acknowledge you when you walk in and they’re inconsistent. I placed my order exactly at 7:00 PM got there at 7:40 PM after being told that their wait is 25 – 30 mins. I get there and my order FOR PICK UP isn’t ready and that I had to wait for an extra 30 mins. totally wasted my time. I understand that their busy and they have a huge crowd, but take care of the customer. I work in retail too so I understand how it’s supposed to work.

Not a bad place to get pizza, although I am a pizza fiend. I love places that serve it by the slice in particular, so this place is perfect for me and my friends.
A little small inside, and immensely warm even in the summer, but I’ve never had an issue with my pizza there, and it certainly always tastes as I expect it to. I like that it’s conveniently located downtown, so if you get a random hankering for easy, cheap pizza, you can always keep in mind that they have that awesome lunch buffet.
My favorite and go-​to slice will always be Hawaiian. So gooooood. Drinks are kind of pricey, though.

Terrible pizza, horrific customer service… will not be returning. So terrible that Maggoo’s pizza went out of business. Now that place had REAL freaking pizza!
