I live in LA and I bought groceries in the Grove kmart. I have never been to Liverpool NY. However, less than a month after my initial purchase someone bought gift cards for value of 600 $ in the Kmart in Liverpool. I reported the case to the police, and they told me that someone must have got the number of my card in LA and send them to a friend in NY that made the purchase.
I contacted Sears, by sending them a letter, and after several telephone calls, they told me that they weren’t responsible for the purchase, someone swiped my card there. Which is impossible. So I asked them for the written confirmation of that and they close the case and told me that it was impossible for them to send the confirmation.
I would never buy in a store that doesn’t do anything against thieves. I felt treated like I was the one that was robbing kmart. If you can choose, go to walmart
