Subway is not a great place to go, this particular one is as good as any other but that is their biggest problem. There is so little meat and cheese that you can only taste the bread which is not that good to begin with. With so many other options close by I don’t get why even bother on going to subway, any Italian deli is much better and about the same price and there are a few very close to this branch. It’s something that have always bothered men that they count the slices the put on, I am ok when other places weigh it but you can see is a good amount of meat, I just find it ridiculous that they give you just a few slices in each sandwich.

This subway has a great location in Livingston as well as a nice big store. The space is well kept and always clean. The food is always good and maybe even a little better than other subways I have been to. However, I swear only one person works here. Alright, I’m probably over exaggerating, but it definitely is the case that they only have one person at a time working here. There will be a long long of people ordering numerous sandwiches with only one employee servicing everyone. It really isn’t fair to the employees or the customers So yes, it usually does take a long time to order and get your food and yes it is also true that they run out of ingredients(bread especially) often, which can be annoying With that in mind, I’ll surely be returning because of the location and food being good. But I really do hope they correct their issues!

On my recent visit, the employees were obviously new and in training. The female manager was very cross with the employees and not treating them like people. Just because you pay them nothing, you can’t treat them like nothing. I will not be back, nor will I let my friends or co-workers buy from this location. I will go hungry before I give them my money again. The lesson here… go to school young people and you won’t have take this kind of treatment for slave wages.

This is not a real sub shop and never was. Every time I had the unfortunate opportunity to eat here the most recent one drove me bonkers! First off they don’t even put a portion of meat on theirs subs(commercials show different, false advertising) and when you ask them to put an actual portion of meat on the sandwich they charge you for double meat! The promotions they have are also false advertising, a 5 dollar footlong is basically a loaf of bread with a sliver of meat and stingy amounts of veggies… which you have to tell them 3 or 4 times to put more… keeping in mind of course that im comparing this place to an actual deli… its more like diet fast food. Your better off going to a REAL mom and pop deli… they give you a real sandwich that can actually maintain your vital statistics. Because when you get«double meat» and extras that you get at a REAL subshop for free you wind up paying more for your food! DIETFASTFOOD… PERIOD!

The only reason I have gone here is the location but that is over. It is not worth the hassle For whatever reason this subway cannot get their act together. They are always very slow, and it’s not because they are busy. They have a tendency to run out of certain types of bread and to not get your order correct. There has always been something about the attitude that has struck me wrong here Tonight was trivial, but typical for this Subway. After a nearly 10 minute process of getting two subs, the power went out. Our total was $ 15.52 and unable to pay via credit card, I give her $ 20. She hands me $ 4 change and says she can’t give me the full change for some mumbled reason. Didn’t even offer anything to make up for it. She essentially announced they were stealing 48 cents from us. Who rounds the price up when out of change!!! 48 cents won’t buy much besides a stamp or a Unilocal review

Location: This location opened relatively recently, within the last 6 months, and is on the corner of Mt. Pleasant Ave(Rt 10) and Glendale Ave(next to the Firestone). You can enter the store from either the parking lot in the back or from the front entrance facing Rt 10. The expected: The dining area is furnished with 6 — 8 standard tables, with a sofa and counter-height table in a corner by the front of the store. The dining areas and restrooms are fairly clean. The quality of ingredients is comparable with that of most other Subway locations. The disappointing: The staff, who are mostly of high school– or college-age, are quite friendly but seem to have little prior experience working a cash register(or ever having been to another Subway themselves) and trouble understanding that«everything but pickles» means everything but pickles and will proceed to individually ask you if you want each ingredient, including pickles. To their credit, the sandwiches are crafted with more care and attention than I’ve seen at other locations, but they are abysmally slow. On at least two of my visits, the store has run out of ingredients for the featured $ 5 footlong of the month, which is an embarrassing supply snafu in my opinion. If you arrive right after opening, cookies and yogurt may not ready. On other occasions, certain bread options were not readily available. I frequented this location for lunch only because it is closer to where I work than the locations in Caldwell and Livingston Mall, but I have seen much better management and service.
