Read mixed reviews, but they are right down the street. My WiFi card/radio wasn’t working on my laptop and I’m not great at navigating the BIOS start-up menu. Josh, I think, helped me straight away at the counter. We fiddled with it, ultimately opened up the back and removed/re-installed the chip. Bingo. Sounds silly, but to listen, look, fiddle, and repair my laptop at the counter for 15 minutes is excellent service to me. Did I mention there was NOCHARGE. He also told me I still had a good laptop, i5 Pentium, though 4 years old. He suggested I just get a $ 25USB WiFi adapter if we couldn’t fix this one. Now, I knew most of this already, but it was nice that he didn’t try to up-sell me or feed me some line about mother-board, socket-broken, blah, blah… If something starts smoking, or decides to go bad, I will return. They have my business.

What nice guys! We are not super computer literate so a wonderful resource for people like us. They helped us figure out a problem we were having with our laptop and we also bought our virus protection. Also noticed they were doing the same with other customers and didn’t notice them collecting any fees for the service. Our second visit and will return I am sure.

I went there and asked them for PC2100 Non-ECC unbuffered Memory b/c I need it for a friend. They charged me $ 41 and gave me High Density PC3200(for those who don’t know, this ram goes for about $ 10 b/c it is not compatible with about 99% of computers). Then they wouldn’t take it back… either rip off, or don’t know what they are selling… either way I’ll never go back.
