Went into the appointment with a positive attitude. We were nervous after reading these reviews! They gave us a short window of time, 11 – 2 and we received a call when they were on their way. The repairman showed up at 12:30. We showed him the problem and said he knew exactly what it was. Within 25 minutes the leaking fridge was fixed and he was out the door. The repairman was very friendly and knowledgable. I don’t always listen to reviews and thankful we didn’t because we had a great experience!

We ordered our Frigidaire Professional Series gas range from Plesser’s. After it was installed in our brand new home, we discovered it was leaking gas into the oven portion of the stove. We called Frigidaire who sent this completely worthless company out to fix it. The guy was miserable and unfriendly, didn’t answer any of my questions and claimed he fixed the issue. I still smelled gas and he blew me off like I was an idiot. A few days later our carbon monoxide detectors went off and we had to call the fire department who confirmed that the stove was the culprit. Now we have to wait on a different company to come out and fix what should already have been taken care of. Don’t use this company. They’re incompetent and irresponsible and should be shut down.

I hate writing bad reviews of services/​places. However, I had such a bad experience I felt as if I had to spread the word (it seems as if poor services is a trend at this business). PLEASE, if you can at all help it, do NOT go through this company.
First, I had the same experience as some with calling Lowes and expecting them to send their own service man, only to be slightly confused as to why RSI was on my doorstep. I now know this is the case with repairs from Lowes appliances.
Secondly, I understand when people are running late and days go long, but I was told someone would be out to my home between 8am-​5pm. I waited all day, only to have someone call me at 4:50 that my house was next and someone would be there in 10 – 15 minutes. The person on the phone was one of the rudest individuals I have ever spoken with, and was completely reluctant to answer any of my questions in regards to the repair expected. Awful, awful customer service .
When the repairman showed up at my house, it turns out Lowes told them to fix a completely different stove than the one in my home, and therefore they couldn’t touch it. I had waited 3 weeks without a stove only to be told that I would have to call Lowes and arrange someone else to come out.
When the repairman (who was odd, but perfectly friendly) called this issue in (he apologized with me for the confusion), the person on the other end of the walkie talkie was totally rude about the whole scenario. The repairman even said the guy on the talkie was being completely out of hand and unnecessarily unpleasant about the whole thing. I will be calling Lowes to tell them about this situation and urge they go with a different company in the area.

I really, really wish that I had read reviews before making an appointment with this company. Lesson learned.
Our Frigidaire’s cooling panel burnt out, and we called Lowe’s customer service, where we made our purchase. Lowe’s told me that they were sending «their» repairman out to fix it. It ended up being someone from this company. (Lowe’s later refused to take responsibility, despite it being «their» repairman – will be going to Home Depot from now on, too.) This happened on a Sunday. Lowe’s told me that no repairmen worked on Sunday, but that I would be called on Monday morning, and most likely someone would come out on Monday because it was a cooling issue and cooling issues are usually expedited.
This company called me on Monday and told me that the earliest they could come out was on Wednesday. I repeated what Lowe’s had told me about the service being expedited because it was a cooling issue, and the woman was rude and said «well we’re all booked, but I guess I’ll let you know if we get a cancellation.» Well, apparently no cancellation happened. She also «couldn’t» give me a timeframe smaller than 9am-​5pm on Wednesday.
I took off work on Wednesday for the 9am-​5pm timeframe, and the repairman showed up at 4pm. I could have worked the majority of the day if RSI could prioritize things a little better, but apparently, customer satisfaction isn’t of much importance to them. The repairman was an old guy who kept swearing in casual conversation and complaining about how he only gets paid $ 50 per visit. He tried to fix my fridge with the parts he had in stock, but they didn’t work because my fridge is «too old.» It’s seven years old. My parents just sold their old fridge (still working) that they’d had my entire life. But I’m sure seven years old is just ancient in fridge years.
He told me parts take two days to arrive. He took my credit card number, wrote it down, and told me he had to call it into the office (he complained about how stupid this was). He told me I should expect a call from the company on Friday.
I did receive a call, but it was from the same grumpy woman asking if it was okay to charge my credit card. So, two days after service, when my new part was supposed to arrive, she just got around to asking if it was okay to charge my card – which obviously it was or I wouldn’t have provided her with the number in the first place, and what was the point of the repairman calling in to give her the card number if it wasn’t okay with me? So she charges my card on Friday and tells me I should expect my part in a couple of business days, which would make it Tuesday or Wednesday.
Tuesday and Wednesday pass and I get no phone call. I call them, and I’m told that the part is going to take «a little longer.» They claim they’re not sure right now when it will be because all the parts come in together in one shipment. Okay, I could deal with that. The next Monday comes. No part. I call on Tuesday and ask if there’s a tracking number for the part. They tell me no. I call on Wednesday and start complaining at this point, and the guy (a different person, maybe?) says «let me track it» (?!) and then says «it will be arriving on Friday.» So I was lied to about there not being a tracking number, clearly. I asked to make an appointment for Monday because I need to notify my work ahead of time, and I’m told that I can’t «just in case the part doesn’t come in, we don’t want to waste our time.» Really.
The part did come in on Friday, but no one was able to come out until Wednesday. That made it two and a half weeks without a fridge. The same guy comes to fix it, with no better language or professionalism than before. He installs it, it works, he takes my credit card number, and he leaves. I thought my adventure with this horrible company was finally over, but nope.
Apparently, the guy wrote down the credit card number wrong. This was actually my roommate’s credit card, as she owns the house and fridge, but I was the one who handled all of this because my job is much more flexible than hers. The rude woman calls me to ask about the number and leaves me a voicemail with some hilarious attempt at legalese, as if I had purposely given her the wrong credit card number. The best part of this is that it was the same credit card as before – they had it on file, but it apparently never occurred to the halfwit to check their records before harassing me for the following three weeks. My roommate kept trying to call to pay, but kept receiving their voicemail during business hours. Then I got a call from a restricted number, and it turned out to be RSI. The rude woman again tells me that she talked to me before and I said I was calling back with the number (not at all how the conversation went) and kept calling me by my roommate’s name. I told her again to call my roommate on her lunch break and she would pay. After three weeks of this nonsense, that’s what RSI finally did.

Miserable company run by miserable people. Give them a call if you value miserable experiences (also if you value them fixing one thing and breaking another and then refusing to fix that thing and hiding behind fine print).
Miserable experience.
