We went to Crazy 8 for their grand opening at Laurel Park Place last weekend. I had a ‘$ 10 off a $ 30 purchase coupon’ that I certainly couldn’t let go to waste. We were in search of current clothes for our one-year-old daughter. Her summer dresses are not working out with the cold wind and rain blowing in. It wasn’t as crowded as I’d expect for a grand opening of a Gymboree affiliated store, but maybe that was because we were there during the work day on Friday. I filled out the entry to win prizes for the grand opening first, but haven’t heard if I’m a big winner so far. After picking out what I thought was close to $ 35 in merchandise(a pair of pants, a shirt and a pair of shoes), we went to the register and were told that it was only $ 26! I had to go back and pick up another shirt to get over $ 30 and be able to use the coupon. Another fun thing I noticed was that all of the employee name tags say, «I am crazy about…» and they put something about a little person in their life. Our cashier, for example, is crazy about her nephew. Isn’t that sweet?
