Unremarkable in every way and indistinguishable from any other suburban office building anywhere, or rather everywhere. This is your typical low-rise office tower surrounded by a massive parking lot off a freeway exit, or as I like to think of it, the home office. There is an atrium lobby with waterfalls and plenty of plants, a few tables are strewn about but not really meant to be used since who would really want to hang out here? Maybe that’s the point, no loitering. It all feels cold rather than welcoming in my opinion, but it is what most people think of as ‘nice.‘ The building is nowhere near public transportation and one must have a car to get here. There are sidewalks on N. Laurel Park Dr. but I haven’t seen a single person use them since this office/retail zone is oriented to the automobile rather than the pedestrian. People don’t even walk to the Laurel Park Mall, which is less than three minutes away, by foot. The building is undergoing renovations, but even those don’t offer anything new or exciting. I guess that is what most business decision makers like in an office building: the status quo.
