I don’t eat a lot of chocolate, but when I do eat chocolate, I want the really good stuff. I don’t necessarily care how much it costs… I decided to join the Godiva chocolate rewards club awhile back and as such I get a $ 10 off coupon during the month of my birthday. My mom and I were shopping at Laurel Park mall and I was craving a treat. This location isn’t a big store(like at Briarwood in Ann Arbor), but is more of a kiosk. I showed the staff person my coupon and she explained what I was able to purchase. She was very patient with me in that I think I asked her multiple questions and she always responded in a professional manor. I ended up purchasing a Godiva Teddy Bear with a chocolate bar(on sale), a box of four truffles and a pumpkin cheesecake truffle for dessert. I also got a free truffle as is one of the rewards for joining the club. All of the goodies only cost me $ 10. I can’t complain! It would be nice if they had the niced drinks that other stores offer, but it’s still a nice kiosk and a nice place to get a snack or great gift while shopping!

If they actually hired people that paid attention to customers instead of talking on the phone or playing on their smart phone they might do well. As it is, we walked around the kiosk twice waiting to be greeted. The girl working(10÷27÷13) was too busy yakking to pay any attention to us or the other couple that were browsing. Needless to say, we all left without purchasing anything. I was very disappointed as I really did want truffles.

Best place ever… If you’re looking to get ripped off… I think $ 14 for two small strawberries is the dumbest purchase I’ve ever made. I’ve learned my lesson… Edible arrangements is the way to go!

This isn’t really a store, it’s a kiosk in the center of the mall in a major traffic area. I don’t know about you, but I want time to contemplate my selections for my 32 piece box without having my derrière in the common walkway. There was only one associate and she was torn between three customers so I decided to walk on by and leave her be. BTW, a 32 piece box now costs $ 60!!! Ten years ago, it was $ 33! Talk about a gas station price mark-up!
