01−23−16: Good morning all. Heritage has always served us well and has nice baked goods. However, this morning I placed a call(on hold for 5 minutes and 34 seconds but always worth the wait) to their location to ask please if they had a marble cake batter all ready that would be in their cooler. The woman that answered told me, «You will need to come in and look in the case yourself». I was just trying to save myself a 10 mile trip if they did not have it and asked again. She repeated, «You will have to come in and take a look yourself». So, I asked her if she really did not want to walk to the case to look for me and she replied again, «You will need to come in and take a look yourself». So, I explained to her that I don’t think I will ever come back there and hung up the phone. I thought for a minute and called back and a young man answered the phone this time. I asked him to please tell the woman that I spoke to that I was going to write a review and that I could not understand why she could not look in the case for me. He told me in a rude tone to, «Go ahead and post because what did I expect as they didn’t have time to go look in the cooler because they had a line of customers to the door’. Well, if with the first phone call the woman would have explained that to me I would have understood that. Just totally surprised that a customer would be treated this way… period. I guess they do have a busy clientele and are not worried about losing one or two of us. Oh well… just posting because I was disappointed and surprised how I was treated by this reputable business… my opinion.

I ordered a Hockey Jersey cookie cutter & took to Heritage. The Red Wings Jersey Cookies that they made for us were beyond our expectations! Not only did everyone oh & ah about the design, but they also enjoyed the deliciious cookie. Highly recommend this Bakery!

Got my sons 1 yr bday party cake from here. It was both beautiful and delicious. And the customer service was great too.

As soon as I walked in, I was enveloped in the aromas of sugar and spice and everything nice. Late in the day, the cases were still filled with cookies, doughnuts, and pastries, such as turnovers. A long-term customer commented that this was a terrific bakery as he walked out the door. I carefully took in all the goodies before selecting a large and still-fresh honey-glazed doughnut, a yummy apple fritter with chunks of cinnamon apples and a classic Quiche Lorraine, from the variety available. While I enjoyed the sweet treats, when heated later on, the quiche was just okay. Instead of rich, savory, creamy custard, the egg mixture was a bit tough. Also available is a cinnamon coffee ring that looked incredibly tempting. It is definitely something that I intend to try on a cold Saturday morning.

After visiting Alpine Cleaners next door, I stopped in this bakery for the first time. The smells were amazing. I ended up buying 3 beef pasties for about $ 15 bucks. They ended up feeding my family of 4 with leftovers. The pasties were basically ½ pies filled with nicely seasoned beef and some veggies. The crust was a hit. I will be returning!

We love stopping in for baked goods and yummies. They have made great custom birthday cakes for us. They are a wonderful hometown bakery. Nice helpful staff.

If you like your cakes frosted with attitude, then I suggest you go here. Otherwise — STAYAWAY! I have never in my life been treated so rudely by ANY business owner in my life. I was shopping around for cake prices for my daughters birthday cake. I stopped in to see what Heritage had to offer — I wanted to put a picture of my daughter on the cake. I was told that my cake would be around $ 65, and that I would confirm the order when I stopped back in with the picture I was using. Well, turns out, $ 65 is quite expensive for a 3 year olds birthday cake, as the other bakeries in the area were priced from $ 20-$ 40. That being said, I never returned to finish and confirm my order. Fast forward to the day of her party: all our guests have gone home and I have a voicemail from Heritage asking if I was going to come pick up my cake — HUH?! I didn’t call back to tell them they baked a mistake! Now, on the Wednesday after her party, I receive another phone call from whom I assume is the owner of the bakery. She proceeds to tell me that I am rude, avoiding her phone calls and she is disgusted that I ordered a cake and never picked it up. Needless to say, I lost it. What kind of business owner harasses potential customers? I am embarrassed for this business. I would highly recommend Sorella’s Bakery in Livonia — the cakes and treats are 100% drama free.

My Dad almost bought the entire store when we came here. He loves pastries and sweets so at the end of a long day of visiting wedding vendors, he wanted to reward himself. It’s a small shop but a great selection of breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, ect. The salesperson was friendly and the store was heated very well(it was about 0* outside!) We came here initially because it was one of our choices for cake vendors for the wedding but we ended up going with another place. However this bakery defiantly lived up to what it does, provide Michiganders with sweet treats.
