Target

Target has very cheap low quality clothing and a lack of any selection of anything!
do yourself a favor and spend your money at K-​Mart. they have great clothing and real leather shoes! not vinly like Target. K-​Mart for me and my friends always!

We had a very frustrating experience at this Target today. My husband and I went in there with our two kids to look at fitbits. Walking into the store I was excited to be getting a new device that would help us towards our fitness goals. At the front door we were greeted with an over flowing trash can. Walking past that we continued to electronics. Walking up I could see four associates in the small area and I thought great we’ll be able to get help quickly. As we approached no one looked up or greeted us. We walked around trying to find what were looking for. Finally my husband asked if they carried fitbits and the associate says yep right there and points to a case offering no other help or comments. My husband then asked if they carried the large size and the associate said it’s only online. At that point I was ready to leave. I could have bought mine and ordered my husband’s but I won’t be purchasing it from Target even though I really wanted the teal colored one that only comes from Target. I will get another color from another store after the service that we received.

This Target is always, always busy and is in such a busy area of town. I rarely come here, because it is busy both inside the store and on Haggerty road as well. However, this place is also run extremely well and always seems to have items in stock. In fact, during Christmas shopping, I regularly found items in stock here, that were not at the Wixom location, which is closer to me. On top of their stocking practices, they recently added a scan yourself area. One of my biggest gripes with Target has always been the mismanagement of checkout, especially if you are there for two or three items. I regularly have to wait behind someone with a cart filled to the brim. The addition of the scan yourself has made this place so much more of a convenience to visit. Now if they could only have a secondary entrance that was not on Haggerty…

Eh… Not a huge fun of this store. I used to love it but since then they have a very limited amount of check out registers. Be prepared to wait in line anywhere from 15 – 45 minutes.

Good, clean Target location. Well stocked shelves. Big parking lot. Friendly staff. Quick check out (granted, I was here at 10:00 pm at night on a Thursday night with a small number of items).
This location looks A LOT like my favorite location at home — Vauxhall, NJ. The layout is nearly identical. The only difference is that it didn’t have a Starbucks and I think the clothing section is slightly different. They also didn’t have much in men’s PJs which is why we came here; my partner forgot to pack his and we want to pick some up.
We will probably be back to buy some more water for our hotel room.

I love Target and I can now add that I love Target pharmacy as well. This Target is located almost next door to the Costco. I had originally gone into Costco to have them fill a prescription for me and they did not have the prescription. The pharmacist at this Target location was incredibly nice! The prescription was filled while I was waiting and was filled quickly. The pharmacist explained the prescription and gave me a syringe type dispenser for for measuring. Anyway, the pharmacist explained there was a stopper in the bottle
to make the dispensing/​measuring easier and I could tip the bottle upside down to measure as a result. Unlike CVS who just gave me the syringe and an open top prescription. (That was a total pain when the liquid got lower than the syringe-​totally ridiculous CVS). Anyway, I asked about flavoring as my daughter is difficult with liquid medicines and she took care if it. I had a wonderful experience. I appreciate the attention to detail Target pharmacy gives. Target now will get my pharmacy prescriptions.

My shopping experience on Thanksgiving Day was excellent! The process was well organized. The line out side of the building was orderly. Ticket numbers were handed out for the hot ticket items, which cut down on the mad rush and chaos, once the store doors opened. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, the store opened. I picked up my items and paid for them in less than 30 minutes. All of the items on my shopping list from the ad wrre available. Great job Target!

Love the store. It looks clean, plenty of cashiers. I just find they are pricey compared to Meijer or Walmart.

It’s nice and clean usually busy in here to they always have some nice stuff for decent prices. Like I mentioned early it is busy which means long lines

kinda bummed was needed Starbucks but they only had a pizza hut. Bought a few items cuz after all you cant go to Target without buying anything.

I always over spend when I come here. I’m such a bad shopper, but I can’t help that they have great deals and I find things that I didn’t know I needed! I come here for everything. Clothes for the little one, occasionally for myself if it’s a good buy, home-​goods, cleaning supplies, $ 5 movies, coffee creamer, selective food items. They have it all!

I am so impressed by this Target. (I hope you’re reading this ‘tar-​jay’ the way the word begs to be read! haha) I mean I’m generally a Target fan anyway, but this one was… no words…
So my car was being fixed at Costco, well my tire was… so I had a couple hours so I walked over to Target, cuz everything else is frankly wayyy too far for my stubby legs to walk to. And I first started by just browsing and scanning things for shopkick. But then I realized, OH! I can buy stuff for the social this weekend! So I started getting things. GrRRR the event was an ice cream social, and they did not have smaller jimmies/​sprinkles. The only size they had was large, like my head large, and it was $ 5. I guess I could have gotten it anyway but I was like SUCH A WASTE! SoOO I ended up getting cake jimmies and it was aLL goood.
However, when I walked up to the register, I have never seen a line this long at Target in the history of time! I was thinking, should I just leave it and have wasted my past 30 minutes shopping or grrr… when I heard a voice from the heavens say something like, ‘All Hands on Deck’… it probably wasn’t that but that’s what I remember.
And suddenly!!! There were like 10 cash registers open, when there had only been two before and in under 5 minutes, all of us were outta there!
Target, I am uberly impressed. That is top notch in my book.

I stopped by this Target before going to Costco for my virgin visit. Needless to say, I was suckered into spending $ 148 before I was thru!
This is the girlie Target. I’ve never seen so much acreage dedicated to the ladies, big and small. They have twice as much stock as the average Target. I found some great deals in accessories (put some away for gifts) and in cosmetics. If you are a guy, you get short shrift. It also seems that the grocery area was an afterthought because it’s very cramped. I wonder if that’s because Costco is next door. The only negative is that the store seem messier than the Ford Road one in Canton and I had the feeling that they were short-​staffed. Plus, the parking lot’s on a hill and is very tricky to navigate. Drive towards the Panera nad you can exit at a light (but you can only go left towards Seven Mile).

In the past, I have avoided Target at times due to their annoying return policy and also the fact that I can’t ever leave there without dropping a hundy. But, I had such a wonderful experience at this location — I will be returning. Hubby and I went to browse for some area rugs and other home items on Saturday night (what a great date, btw). When we got to the area rug isle, it was pretty bare, and most of the rugs were marked «clearance» on the shelf although many of them were missing price tags.
When we got to the register we asked our cashier to check to see if it was on clearance, and she called a manager over. The manager was so kind — he called someone from stock to check on the price, and even offered us 10% off for the wait! Turns out, it wasn’t on clearance but we happily took the rug home anyways.
I really thought the manager (I’m assuming) Rick went out of his way to make us happy customers. Kudos to him and this Target location!

This Target is OK. It is located right next door to a Costco so prepare for a busy parking lot. I have done some extreem couponing here and the clerks were always cool, one time even pointing out a way for me to save a few more bucks. Due to the location next to Costco & Trader Joes this place is a one parking lot shopping trip.

«A rose by any other name… blah, blah, blah» We all know what’s in a Target. This one is nicer than the one I usually frequent. Its bigger, it gets the better clothes and I feel like the clearance sections are more interesting (I loves me some clearance).
This Target also has an optical, not many Targets in the area do, so I stopped in here to order some contacts. Before I stopped by, I called ahead to make sure they took my vision insurance. The woman said yes. Score! I zip down there, plop down in front of the nice lady and hand over my insurance card. She checks and checks… sadly, Target Optical takes my insurance but does not participate in the plan I have. Bummer! The lady could see I was miffed (not with her, but just in general — I was having a nothing-​is-​going-​right kind of day). She also asked if I needed more contacts right away, because she could provide me with a trial pair to hold me over until I could actually get to place that took my insurance plan. What a sweetheart, she definitely didn’t have to do that!
Its so refreshing to know that Target still employs great people like her that know you’re in a bind and will be willing to help as much as they can given the situation. Sadly, I probably won’t be using the optical here but its nice to know that they have great people there if the occasion arises.

Targets are great in my book. This one happens to have an Optical Center which I went to yesterday. I wanted to get contacts so I walked in, got an exam, and walked out with a sample of contacts while my prescription is on order. The Optical staff was so incredibly nice and helpful. The exam is affordable and I will probably go back to pick out some funky new frames with my new prescription.
The store itself is huge! It looked clean — from what I could see while getting accustomed to my contacts…

Target gets the big-​box formula right. As opposed to Meijer, there is rarely a line. The telephones and bar-​code readers make solutions easy to find. The merchandise changes regularly. The store is bright. Visual lines are clear. You almost never feel crowded.
The prices are highly competitive, and the ease often makes the decision easy for me: Costco, Meijer, Best Buy, Bed/​Bath/​Beyond, Kohl’s, or Target? Make mine Target.

This was the Target I would frequent when I lived in the area and still is there along Haggerty Road. The only downside to this place is exiting and entering due to the fact it’s near the freeway, along Haggerty, near Schoolcraft College, and is near tons of other retails stores and resteraunts. There is a stoplight that connects the Mejier parking lot across the street to it and helps you turn into the parking lot and make a safe left turn. It’s just usually crowded at that entrance, however it is nice to have.
Plenty of parking here which is always a plus, so for the most part I never had to park far away. The store inside is a typical Target and the staff is helpful in finding random items or the usual household items. The aisles never were dirty or crammed with items, it was well stocked. I love me some Target!
