Live in Lockhart and don’t eat here anymore. My last visit here, the kids burnt my frozen chicken fried steak. Of course they flipped it over, burnt side down and covered the top with gravy.
US food or Cisco pre-​made foods. If you like frozen burger patties, go to their Sonic restaurants.

Found via Unilocal review and wasn’t disappointed. Service was good and people are friendly. Has a cool little town feel to it as it should. We all ordered burgers and fries. One of the better burgers I’ve eaten. Would recommend if you are driving through.

You’re in Lockhart and you’re NOT in the mood for any of the several fantastic BBQ options in town.
Here’s what you need to know:
1) The burgers are astonishing.
2) Fried Oreos (off menu)
You read that correctly: Fried Oreos with Iced Cream.
If you won’t eat the BBQ, Henry’s is the next best thing.

In a world of Rush rush and get the customer out of the door, Henry’s is a thing of the past. Walking into Henry’s is like walking into family where everybody knows who you are and knows your order almost by heart. It’s not just the that makes Henry special it’s the waitstaff that makes Henry’s so special. The waitresses here truly know their customers and exceed all of their expectations. I just tried Henry’s and had the biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Biscuits were soft and fresh, and the pork sausage gravy was delicious, although I doubt my arteries loved it as much as my taste buds. The place was clean, and the service was great — waitress was friendly, cute, and she brought my food out about 10 minutes after I ordered. Decaf tasted good too. I was there around 9 AM Wednesday and business was brisk with what appeared to be locals, so that’s typically a good sign too. I’d eat there again — maybe will try lunch next time.

This place has deep fried Oreos. That is the only reason for me coming. You have been warned. I knew what I was getting into. The restaurant isn’t brave enough to put it on as a menu item so it’s your responsibility to bear the guilt of committing such an act. I’ll be in the bathroom. It was awesome.

Came in to grab some breakfast and was not disappointed. The prices were great for some pancakes, eggs and bacon and friendly staff on hand.
We sat ourselves by the window, as there were a few seats open early in the morning on a Saturday.
Parking should be easy for most, we happened to walk to Henrys but it looked like a decent amount of parking available in early in the morning.

We are regulars here! We love this place. For my taste, they have the best burgers in town and my wife always craves their fried chicken sandwich. They are a little pricy but completly worth it! Eat local.

This restaurant is the best sit down for breafast in Lockhart, If your looking for eggs over easy and toast or want to add a chicken fried steak you can’t do better any where in central Texas than Henry’s. I paid less than $ 10.00 for 3 eggs hashbrowns chicken fried steak beans with toast and coffee, plus it has ambiance and just enough sun coming through to brighten your day.

Ate there a year ago. Charged nearly $ 17 for a couple orders of chips and salsa. Was annoyed enough with the over priced chips and frozen Cisco food, I boycotted. I am local to Lockhart, btw. Went back tonight because I was lured in to their Facebook promos for a Thanksgiving meal. While generally tasty, I had to ask them to take the meal back to heat it up. Also ordered a burger to go with veggies on the side (to avoid wilt) and mayo and mustard on side. Glad I checked before leaving restaurant because in the container was the burger with mayo, mustard AND veggies. Place run by kids who don’t pay attention or seem to care. Got a free burger out of it. Proceed with caution. This is the place to go for frozen chicken strips, fries
And sweet tea. Nothing more. The end!

Went to eat here with friends. The food is delicious. We had fried pickles which are really delicious, as well as yummy chips and salsa. When our main meal was brought to the table it looked really yummy. I had the fried chicken salad with honey mustard and it was really delicious.

I hate to write this review because I had had a great experience at Henry’s a year ago and was exciting to visit again.
I came in after an evening performance at the theater around the corner. I know Henry’s stays open late as a favor to the theater patrons and the last time I stopped in, I was happy with the experience.
This time I made the mistake of ordering breakfast. The scrambled eggs were undercooked. The bacon strips were tiny. The homestyle potatoes were overcooked, hard, and overseasoned. And my white toast was actually mushy.
The server slapped down the check before I had a chance to ask about their desserts. I figured it was a message that I probably would have been disappointed by that as well.
On a favorable note, the prices were very low. But even at the price I paid, I felt I wasted my money.

AMAZING!!!
I took out of town guests to Lockhart for a visit and since we had BBQ the night before, we tried to find somewhere else. We happened upon Henry’s and I am so happy that we did.
The building is old with wonderful wooden floors and brick walls, but it was clean and neat. The waitress was very friendly and since we hadn’t been there before, recommended a few items. Once of the things she recommended were the hamburgers. The hamburger was the best hamburger that I have ever had in a restaurant. The bun is homemade and delicious. The burger is hand pressed and had the perfect amount of juiciness. The fries were yummy as was the Sweet Tea. The food was very inexpensive, the cheeseburger was around $ 6 including fries. The food came out quickly and hot.
If you are ever in Lockhart, I highly recommend Henry’s! I know I will be going back.

Ate here with a few friends and it’s pretty good. If you like fried pickles, these are awesome! The batter that they are fried in has a little spice to it and really makes a difference.
I ordered the taco salad, it was good, nothing spectacular. The salsa they serve with it was great. We also ordered the chicken fried steak and the grilled chicken salad. These were also reported to be pretty good by my companions.
The service is fantastic, everyone is friendly and attentive. The food came out fast and as we ordered it. I Would recommend this place if you’re in Lockhart and looking for something that’s not BBQ! :)

Order the burger, and sweet potato fries, you won’t regret it.
