This is really the only«store» in Lockport. No, I’m not kidding. Other than Wally World, which I do not patronize — ever. If you live in Lockport and need clothing for any nicer occasion, you will probably end up at the Bön Ton. Wedding — Bön Ton. Communion — Bön Ton. Grandma and Grandpa’s 50th Anniversary Bash — yup, you guessed it, Bön Ton. You must go in there with coupons, nothing is ever full price, but you must play the coupon game here. If you have a Bön Ton charge they will inundate you with coupons, there is no reason not to play coupon roulette here. The exclusions on the coupons are legendary — but play along. Yesterday I bought a dress for $ 16.56. Price tag $ 68.00, a percentage off, plus a coupon for $ 20 off $ 50 — whammy $ 16.56 for a dress to wear at a wedding. The reason for 3 stars? A majority of the clothing in there is very dated. This store definitely caters to the senior citizens crowd, I believe on Wednesday seniors get an additional % off — avoid the store on Wednesday. The dressing rooms are poorly lit and very dirty. The ladies one near the hair salon has a ventilation cover that is so caked with dust, it is astonishing, look up, it is a marvel you need to see. You will have to wade through a lot of racks to find a gem here, but it is worth your time to find a bargain.

Not sure about the other review for this store… But… I came here looking for a specific dress that the Eastern Hills store didn’t carry in my size. This store had the dress and to my delight, the dress was marked down to $ 14.99 from $ 70!!! YAHOOOOOO!!! And I had a 20% off coupon on top of that! I also got a really cool tye dye skirt and some tops by earthy boho brand Ruff Hewn. Spent about $ 50 on everything. GOODDEALS. BonTon has this yellow dot clearance sale a couple of times a year that gets you at least 60% off of everything in the store. And then there’s usually a coupon in the paper to get you an extra discount on top of what they’ve already discounted. Almost EVERYTHING is on sale– including shoes– and they carry some great brands. The plus-size department at this store is really great. They carry Calvin Klein, Jones of NY, Silver Jeans(they never go on sale), and my fave Ruff Hewn in their plus department. These are good quality, stylish brands so bigger ladies don’t have to resort to the stretchy-waist gramma pants referenced in the other post! We can be stylish and fashion forward too!!! Right now the store is being renovated so it looks like a construction area, but it doesn’t compromise the space and being able to sort through the merchandise. I never understood my mom’s affinity for the BonTon, but I get it now. There are lots of treasures to be found at this store, and in this location! Scope out the yellow dot before it ends!

Bön-Ton Soup I can’t say enough about Bön-Ton. It’s nice that the Lockport Mall has an anchor store. Maybe they could get a cookie store? Bön-Ton always has coupons and I never go without one but you can only use them for very pacific things like a purple cardigan for a man in size XXXL with fringe. Thinking about Bön-Ton always makes me want to eat chinese food. Maybe because I like eggdrop soup? Sometimes chinese food gives Gramma gas. But she buys her stretchy-waste pants at Bön-Ton, so the bloating’s ok!
