Lock 34

Had dinner here tonight. I have been here a handful of other times. It has been a great experience every time I have been here. I had the The Anchor: Crispy breaded chicken fingers tossed in buffalo wing sauce with lettuce, tomato, onion, and bleu cheese dressing. Served in a wrap. The food is always consistent and so is the service. … I am a big fan of this restaurant and I recommend it.

Had a bottle of wine and fried pickles with friends. (We weren’t hungry.) Enjoyed the patio and would come back. Very pleasant.

Went for the first time after reading other reviews. The food was great! I had the Greek flatbread. Hubby had the pork special. Do wish they had a better draft beer selection but that won’t stop me from returning. Happened to be there on trivia night and that was a fun extra advantage (even though we lost)!

Lock 34 is a great spot for lunch, dinner, and even work gatherings. Though thing can get a little crazy in their, the service stays fairly on point and the food is usually good or better. One of my favorites is their chicken quesadilla, with a tendency to please the pallet with a scrumptious flatbread from time to time.
Looking for an appetizer? Hands down the pretzels, with the mustard, not cheese!

Love this place. The Flatbread pizzas and burgers are standouts. The salads are fresh and tasty, and the staff are friendly, happy and full of life. A top choice in Lockport.

My best friend and I were in town from Syracuse going to an event. We needed a place to grab dinner before it started, so we took to Google, and came upon Lock 34. It was very close to our event, so we decided to give it a go.
Being from out of town, we didn’t know where the hell we were, so we passed by a couple times. As a matter of fact, we actually went into another restaurant around the corner, then walked out after not being impressed with the menu and walked to Lock 34. That turned out to be the best decision.
It’s a big, open sports bar type place, but has a very modern feel to it. We were sat immediately, and it wasn’t very busy even though it was a Frisat evening. There was a lot of good stuff on the menu, but my friend and I both settled for burgers. I went with their homemade chips as a side and he got fries.
Our meals were delicious. The burgers were fresh and cooked perfectly. Their homemade chips were awesome, and their fries were really good too.
Service was quick and friendly. We were actually running a little too close to our events start time, but our food came quickly and we made it just in time. The place was getting very busy as we left around 7pm.
Great little place. If we didn’t live two and a half hours away, we’d definitely be making it a regular spot.

If you’re looking for comfort food in a great casual atmosphere, this is the place. We’ve been here for lunch and dinner, and always loved the food and excellent service. The fish fry is really among the best in the area!

Nice place for a sports bar! Thought it would be typical bar food had the flatbread with steak, blue cheese, caramelized onions and arugula that was really good. Bartender Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend to others for a nice place to stop in have a drink and food.

In from out of town and saw that this place had four stars so we tried it. Great place, excellent food, excellent service (Andrea), great atmosphere. Got the anchor wrap and beef on wick. Yum.

We stopped in for lunch here, and it was quite uncrowded on a weekday. The food was very good (I had the burger with blue cheese, and my brother had the special of the day chicken sandwich with some interesting combinations). The service was upbeat and friendly.

This place is great, right on main street. We went for lunch, all of our food was good (seafood pizza, wraps and salads) and prices were fair. They have a nice outdoor area you can sit with an outdoor bar area too with big TVs. The inside is huge, I can only imagine how busy it can get in there during prime hours.

Went on a Friday for fish but opted for the sirloin, $ 15.99 for an 8 oz. with sautéed mushrooms and onions, salad and red potatoes. Great deal and it was cooked right. Wife had the Greek baked fish which was alright. It’s hard to get excited about baked fish. We’ll be back to try the rest of the menu.

My husband and I stopped in for a drink after a show the other day and nobody batted an eye at my crazy hair. The bar is open and attractive. The attire ranged from casual to club, and the vibe was a little rowdy with pre-Paddy’s day celebrating. Good service, good drinks. Didn’t try any food. Sometimes they have live music.

Friends and I come to Lock 34 often and it is always consistent. Great food great service. Andrea was excellent today. There hasn’t been anything on the menu yet we have have enjoyed. Atmosphere is nice also and has a nice patio in the summer. Would definitely give it a try.

Best fried pickles I’ve ever had. Reuben was also delicious but my husband had the margaritas style pizza and it was terrible. The place itself was very nice and service was good.

During the day stop in for a great lunch. The burgers are good. I haven’t personally tried the pizza, but I have heard good things. In the evenings, I would recommend the wings in the sweet and spicy sauce. They are great. Also the pretzel sticks are amazing, like I’d sleep in the couch so I don’t have to share with my wife amazing. If you are looking for a unique shot try the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Overall a great place to stop regardless of the time of day. Friday and Saturday nights the crowds can get big. If you aren’t a fan of crowds, I’d steer clear on those days.

One of my girlfriends and I visited Lock 34 last Thursday evening before a show at the Lockport Palace Theater. The last time I visited this space it was under a different owner and went by the name Taboo so I was excited to see what had changed on the menu and the overall vibe of the restaurant.
The vibe and feel of the space has not shifted dramatically, the architecture is very open and pleasing to the eye. Upon glancing at the menu I noticed they had put a fun, local spin on all of the items listed. After a little bit of debate both myself and my friend ordered off the «Pathway Pizzas» section of the menu, where all of the pizza creations were named after notable streets in Lockport. A nice touch if I do say so myself.
When my «Grass”-Mere Road pizza was delivered to the table it looked fantastic and I couldn’t wait to dig in! The pizza itself was delicious, the crust was nice and crispy and the portion was great. My friend kept it basic and went with the «High Street» consisting of tomato, basil and mozzarella. She seemed very pleased with her choice as well!
The only criticism I would point out would be the attentiveness of the staff. Our pizzas took about 45 minutes and the restaurant was not overly crowded so I wish our waitress would have communicated with us a bit better in regards to that since we had a show to catch! Overall, a nice experience and I would certainly recommend it if you ever find yourself in the city of Lockport and looking for a cocktail and some affordable grub!

Went here for lunch… I ordered the chicken fingers. The fingers were on par with most in Buffalo, large and the sauce (sweet and spicy) was incredible! I’d probably order the wings next time with the any of the sauces, they’re probably all good. Others in our party ordered the burgers and a large salad… It all looked really good. Portions are large… staff extremely pleasant and I’d go back here in a heartbeat.
