Uncle Richie’s: A wonderful family establishment. I won my son a stuffed animal from the claw machine and now he sleeps with it every night! I also won a delightful DVD for me and the Mrs., that I would love to say we watch every night, but then I would be lying. The bar does not accept credit or debit cards so make sure you bring your benjis! The atmosphere was also great. Lockport’s finest residents seem to call this pub home.

My buddy and I found Uncle Richie’s a few months back. We drive by it on our way home from work every day and decided to finally stop for a drink. I’m so glad we did since it has now become one of our favorite places. As soon as you walk in you figure out quickly that the seats at the bar are clearly reserved for the regulars but the bartenders and owner were really nice. Instead we took a wobbly table near the back which allowed us to take in the scenery and, of course, people watch. They have the usual stuff you expect out of a townie bar: cash bar, bad bathrooms, funny wall signs and those gambling games that look like they belong at an arcade. It does have one feature that makes it stand out against other small townie bars: a claw machine filled with porn and stuffed animals! I know that might make me sound creepy but I promise I didn’t play! Now my friend on the other hand… Can’t forget to mention that they have a fridge full of to-go 6 packs, all mislabeled. There isn’t much to eat there(except for their advertised $ 1 warm nuts) but you don’t go here to eat. Their drinks are pretty solid. They have decent beers to choose from and they can poor a mixed drink, just don’t expect anything too fancy. Fortunately we’ve been able to grab a couple of our work friends to come with us from time to time and they love it too. Locals probably know and love this place but more people should frequent this bar. There aren’t too many places around like this one anymore. I’ll be going back for sure.

I am usually not one for the local bars in my town. But if I had a go-to, this may be it. I love the vibes I get when I come through. I also enjoy the best bleeders in town. Many of my friends and family come here so it is just one of those places. Sometimes we come in and smash cheap beers while playing Pearl Jam and throwing darts. Kind of liven the place up on a Friday night lol. Oh and Popcorn is free, and tasty.

No food. Well frozen pizza, nuts, or popcorn. Dive bar but! Nothing wrong with a hole in the wall if you strictly go for the«infamous bloody» and came out grinning.$ 4.25 for a bloody with home made mix. Great mix, Garnished with cucumber and potent celery salt(in the tastiest way). Perfect amount of spice and not too filling.

Nice local bar with small town feel. Floyd the bartender was great and the bloody Mary’s are very good as well. They had pints on special for $ 1.75 and offered them up in a iced glass. Everyone in the place was nice and friendly. Rolling rock on tap was great!

I’ve been a fan of Uncle Ritchie’s for over 25 years now. There is only one drink you need to order here, the best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had. This is a friendly, aging weekend-biker bar. The locals can be a little rough around the edges, but they’re good Lockport folk. Go for the bloodies and watch your drink limit. I’m a big boy and 3 make me loopy.

I have been coming here for Sunday Morning Breakfast… Forever! Not your traditional bacon and eggs served with fried potatoes, simply a vegetarian feast served in a salted rim glass. However, the liquid chemistry of this drink is the attraction! Unlike other joints… Uncle Richie’s relies on the complexity and variety of alcohol to” brand” their signature ‘BLOODY’, not Celery & Pickles! Triple«D» all the way! Divey, Dark & Dingy

Open early with a great crowd enjoying cocktails. Trying to catch everything hung on the walls will take you several trips which won’t be a problem once you try the Bloody Mary.

A cool neighborhood bar in downtown Lockport. I really like the look and feel of this old bar. They have cool hunting decorations and an old look that can only be granfathered in these days. the bathrooms are ridiculously small and there is a large whiskey and beer takeout. Every town should have a bar like this for their locals.

Having canceled my cable recently, I found myself with no way to watch the NHL’s All Star game yesterday and so, I decided to find a place nearby where I thought it might be playing. Only two days before, I stopped in here with my sister when she came to town to catch up for a while. What a difference two days make. Don’t get me wrong, neither experience was a bad one, however both visits surprised me as far as the crowd were concerned because it was dead on a Friday night, and bustling on a Sunday afternoon(with no home town game on TV)…just the opposite of what I expected. The same bartender was there on both days and seemed to remember me when I returned. Beer is reasonable at $ 2.50 per bottle and you never seem to be waiting long for another, especially if you’re sitting at the bar. My only complaint is that the jukebox is a little too loud, especially if you’re trying to have a conversation with someone.(and it’s not just me saying that, others have as well) But my favorite part of URP’s is the ambiance. The place just looks like you walked into a fishing or hunting lodge in Wisconsin. Even the patrons all seem like nice, down to earth people not afraid to say hello if you sit down next to them. That, along with prompt, friendly service from those working behind the bar makes for a terrific experience. It seemed to me after my last visit on Sunday that there are quite a few people who’ve made Uncle Richie’s their home. From what I’ve seen so far, I can’t blame them one bit.

My favorite biker hangout! Bloody Marys are the best around with their special recipe. Cold beer? Their mugs are so frozen that ice crystals form in your beer! Hopefully you stop by when Floyd or Billy are bar tending because their drinks will knock you off the stool! Friendly environment. I brought over some Army stuff from Afghanistan and this big Cardboard Fireman that is still in the corner after al these years lol. That damn thing has been to more parties there than me!

It’s true: the bloody mary is a must. I don’t even like them but I will drink them here. Sample the local flavor: a bit of a tavern, dive and biker hangout all rolled into one.

Best bloody Marry’s in the world ;) Might be exaggerating, but I did an article years ago on the best in the midwest — and this was on top of my list. Even in South Dakota at Sturgis years ago, I overheard people talking about the bloodys at Richies!!! Warning: Addiction follows — one is not enough, two is not enough — three your loving life and the rest is up to you.

Biker bar with the best bloody marys EVER. I love the cucumber chunk, double that up and hold the olives please. They also have warm nuts — what a great Saturday or Sunday breakfast! No pool table, but they have 2 dart boards and a great selection on the juke box.
