There is lots to like about Publix, but one area where this chain is WAYYYY behind many others is in its Gluten Free offerings. Our son is G-Free and dairy-free and we always cringe when we have to head into a Publix(in contrast with a Harris Teeter, for example — I’m not even comparing them to a Whole Foods or an Earth Fare) … they do not seem particularly interested in carrying a wide variety of these products. And when it comes to nut milks, they again lag. We are strongly biased toward So Delicious coconut milk, which is becoming nearly ubiquitous in the other large grocery chains. You almost never find it at Publix, and that was again our experience in the Locust Grove location.

Publix was my favorite store in Georgia! It was right up the street from my old house. All of the staff is so friendly and nice and the store was always nice and clean. They made the best subs there for $ 5.50…i’m getting hungry just thinking about it lol But i really miss this store. Definately shop there!
