I shop here a lot. The store is clean and well organized and the customer service and employees are great! I can always find what I’m looking for and I love their BOGO sales. Never had a bad experience at this store. I save more at Publix than I do at Walmart! Sometimes I go into Walmart and I’m like, «what the hell did I buy for $ 75?» This is my go to Publix in McDonough. Hope they keep up their standards.

Stop in to get some groceries with family. Very clean and customer service to die for. Got what I was looking for and workers available everywhere asking how I was doing and making sure I didn’t need help. Will return again!

Wow! What can I say. I’ve always loved this place. Clean with great prices, and always great staff. I stopped by here while on vacation from DC. I’m really thinking of moving back south, because I miss Publix so much. I’ve never met an equal.

I have no problem sharing my love for Publix grocery stores. I’m staying locally in a hotel for three weeks and prefer to make my meals versus eating out. Publix has just about everything you need from fresh baked, «home-cooked», frozen and national brands. While this location has fewer Publix brand products that other Publix stores, it wasn’t an issue as it is an observation. I was able to score my four favorite Publix products: the seafood cheese spread, the pecan danish ring, a gallon of sweet tea and of course, the 8-piece fresh, fried chicken for only $ 7 and change. It’s less expensive than KFC, Church’s, Popeye’s and Zaxby’s and far more delicious. The rotisserie chickens are also delicious and fall at the same price point. Costco and Sam’s offer a larger rotisserie bird for $ 3 less. No big deal. Grab a lean cuisine mac and cheese and a Bird’s Eye vegetable steamer bag and you have three meals, ready to eat for nomads like me. Prices are typical to Publix in that they are competitive but always on the higher end. Kroger and Aldi are indeed cheaper. However, customer service is top notch here and always better than than Aldi and Kroger. One knock though would be that they sell whole bean coffee but the store itself does not have a coffee grinder on site. I had to go to the Starbucks and have this done. A mild inconvenience but not worthy of a star reduction.

I shopped here near closing time the other night, and ended up bagging a majority of my own groceries… I didn’t mind, except that the customer behind me in line was giving me the stink eye because I wasn’t moving fast enough! However, the employees I encountered at the seafood counter and my cashier were both very friendly.

Great place for fresh hot French, Cuban, and Chicago hard roll– breads baked daily. A nice selection of meats that can be cut or sliced to order by the butcher upon request. I requested some rib eyes be sliced thinly for me to use in Philly steak sandwiches and they promptly got it done. Lines move fast and free antibiotics when needed… it’s good.

I Generally like Publix’s supermarkets, they are a step up from Ingles or Super Giant even Kroger but not as fancy as Trader Joe’s or Fresh Market. On the avg there prices generally tend to be more on the expensive side for the things I buy but there are items that I come here exclusive for. There frozen food section and at this location at least there mix & match six pack selection for beer. The mix & match gives you the opportunity to sample beers you wouldn’t otherwise taste because you don’t want to make that commitment to something you don’t know you’d like. The staff is always friendly here & quick to check you out. I’ll have to come here more often.

this may be my fave publix of all time. The produce is fresh, the staff is wonderful and helpful ALWAYS, and they carry lots of organic stuff and the products i love compared to other stores in the area. as long as I live here I will drive the extra miles to this grocery store vs the one on tara blvd.

I love this Publix. The staff here is VERY friendly and have strong customer service skills. The prices have even proven to be cheaper than Walmart down the street.

You know what I like best about Publix? It is not Wal-Mart. I would rather pay a little more to shop at Publix than endure Wal-Mart and save a few dollars. That savings is not worth the trip to the store and my sanity. This Publix is not only close to our home, but it is always clean and always staffed by very friendly employees. I once had a manager help me locate a certain item I needed and asked what I had planned to cook. You don’t get customer service like that at many places. To me, that is worth a little higher price. My only issue with Publix, and the reason behind 4 stars instead of 5, is that they do not have a large stock of organic & healthy items that locations such as Whole Foods and Fresh Market would regularly stock. Publix does stock some items, but they just do not have the variety.
