Nice place but weird vibe from the rather stuck up bartenders. We came in all smiles and ask what the drink specials were and the bartender looked at us like it was the stupidest question he ever heard and said«that’s too broad of a question.» When we asked for a recommendation he simply handed us a little menu and said«any of these» then walked away. Great people skills dude. These guys need training on how to talk to customers even if they have to fake it. We tried to engage him in conversation and neither he nor the other guy were having any of it. No wonder the place was dead on a Sat. night. The owner needs to get personable, outgoing people behind the bar. Absolutely key.

Omg, we walked in at 10 o’clock on a Saturday night and there was probably eight people in the place. So we proceed to find a little table and sat there for five minutes when nobody came to greet us, give us a menu or ask us what we wanted to drink. Now mind you there are two bartenders behind the bar. After trying to get somebody’s attention, I walked up to the bar to ask if they could take our order. The bartender told me that we have to give our order at the bar! We all then got up out of our seats went towards the bar they handed us menus we all sat back down when we decided that we were going to wine and roses instead! I thought this was an upscale bar, I was WRONG! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else instead! If I could give 0 stars I would! These bartenders were lazy!

A quiet destination Downtown Lodi, the best option for a romantic cocktail and conversation.

No food at all, not even snacks. The bartender asked me to take off my hat. This is acceptable for a ball cap or such type of hat, but not okay for a lady’s fashion hat. Look it up. The bartender then went on to explain that they’re trying to appeal to a certain clientele(so insulting). And also explained that flip flops were also not allowed. I asked him if he wanted me to leave, as I was wearing flip flops. He said they were OK for women. But a fashion hat for women is not. My husband finished his wine, and we left. Insulting, and lacking in the finer points of etiquette.

I see what they’re trying to do, but it’s not going to work in Downtown Lodi. The dress code was laughable because I saw at least half of the guests breaking it. The handcrafted drink menu was appealing, unfortunately everything we drank was overly sweet. I would try again, but not until they find their rhythm. The service was okay, not memorable, but you could see that having two bartenders on with that kind of menu on a Saturday night was a bit challenging.

I would give this place a better review, but what’s with the stupid dress code. No hats, even nice hats, or sandals. They do realize this is Cali, it’s summer time and there’s a farmer’s market outside their door. Go to Ollie’s right next door.

A bit small, but for my first«bar» experience at home, I enjoyed it very much. Clean, modern, had a nice ambience. Apparently it’s new, & owned by the same people who own Ollie’s right next door(I think you can bring your drinks back & forth?). Andy was our bartender, who I just had to tell what type of drinks I like(vodka, sweet, whatever, etc) & he made me a pretty little mason jar concoction with muddled mint and fruit. It wasn’t too strong, but not too light. I loved it! My friends & I will definitely be back!
