This the second week that we have tried the Taco Tuesday… love those tacos!!! Three tacos for$ 7. Great flavor. Chicken, beef or shrimp for an extra buck. Also love the fried asparagus! A bottle of Sorelle Barbera with friends in the patio… doesn’t get much better!

Food is far too expensive for what it is and for the amount given. There were hardly any people in there and I saw people coming in, then walking right back out again. If this business wants to be successful, they need to look at the competition along School Street. Service lacked too.

We went here for dinner last night and I have to say it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had here in Lodi! We were welcomed by the owner Michael the minute we walked in and were made to feel right at home. We both had the Rib-eye and it was cooked to perfection, melt in your mouth greatness! If you haven’t been here you need to make plans now, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you Michael and Alexys for a wonderful night, we will be back very soon!

After wine tasting we came here to soak up the wine it was our first time here a friend suggested this place and it didn’t disappoint it’s a cool little place they have a dj and a dance floor at night which makes after dining and drinking fun omg the food was so good and had so much flavor it actually exceeded my expectations we ordered lemon drops and they were perfect good service fun place this definitely won’t be last time I like this place can’t wait to go again

First visit left us unimpressed. Menu descriptions sounded intriguing. We tried fresh fried asparagus, mixed green salad with house made ricotta, strawberries, and chicken, and handmade agnolotti pasta with asparagus in butter sauce. We were not wowed by any of our selections. Feels like they are trying to be a hip bar with amazing cocktails(with trendy food options) rather than a stellar restaurant also known for amazing hand crafted cocktails.

After reading some mixed reviews, changing my mind a few times about eating here we finally bit the bullet and did it! And boy am I happy that I did! The restaurant is nice, it doesn’t look much different than it did when it was first opened as a brewery back in the day. Our server greeted us promptly and was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She was also very attentive. We were quickly served bread and waters as well. They have a good selection of beer, wine and other beverages. My husband ordered the Blend Burger which he was really happy with. It was cooked like he asked for it to be and the fries were really yummy! I ordered the roasted chicken which was VERY good. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The brussel sprouts with bacon that came with it were also VERY yummy! The pureed sweet potato tasted good but I wasn’t a huge fan of the consistency but that is more of my personal preference than any problem with the food. We will definitely be back, its a great atmosphere for a date night. The prices are very reasonable as well.

First, this is the best burger you will find in all of Lodi AND better than most burgers in Sacramento. I ordered their burger with a fried egg on top, and it was absolutely delicious! And I eat A LOT of burgers. I also had their blackberry cheesecake which was very good. Now, the reason for one star off. The service was good but not that attentive. Also, the restaurant is somewhat overpriced. Their wines, while I realize have to be marked up for restaurant consumption, were far higher than expected for Lodi prices. I’d go back for the burger but would refrain from the wine pairing. Also, they were out of a FEW things on the menu that we ordered, which was odd.

I’d give it 5 but I haven’t tried their food yet. The establishment is Professional, Customer Service oriented, and they treat their staff very well… Which speaks a lot about owners who love what they do for a living. I used to be a restaurant consultant in SF and I’m usually unimpressed with restaurants around the San Joaquin Valley. I went in for a drink on NYE just to have one and then head off, but the vibe would have it otherwise. The décor is designed to really open up the room, it’s very warm and gives focus to the bar. Their Beer, wine, selection of spirits and cocktail list are balanced and approachable, even though I didn’t have anything for dinner their food menu is on point as well(American Infusion). I would definitely recommend this place for Date night drinks at the bar or out in the patio, which has additional seating, comfortable couches with coffee tables, bar tables and heat lamps. You can tell everything has been thought out and the business has it’s focus. I can only see it getting better. They hire well too. Everyone there knows what it means to be personable and diligent and no one is overly attentive or smothering. They watch you but you would never know that until your glass is full, and your space is cleared. Best of luck guys!

Food, wine, service, and ambiance extremely disappointing. The ambiance was more like a dance club than a restaurant. The waiters were awkward with us and were too hands-on at the wrong time and too hands-off when we actually did need attention. The sauvignon blanc we ordered was subpar & the waiter knew nothing whatsoever about the wines they served. The brussels sprout appetizer was steamed brussels smothered in a ranch-like sauce and fatty bacon, a frat-boy twist on what otherwise might have been a delicious dish. The chicken croquettes was not a croquette at all but rather dry, shredded chicken breaded and fried until almost burnt. It was nothing like the crispy goodness that is the proper croquette. The mushroom tortellini was a shocker. It was delicious. Everything about it. This gives me hope for this new addition to Lodi. This restaurant has potential but needs some major upgrading. We did have high expectations – we were hoping Lodi had finally got a good restaurant to set off its good wine. Instead we had a completely confusing dining experience. Everything about this place clashed. I plan on coming back in a year with the hopes that this place has improved. As it stands, I can’t see this place lasting too long.

Bar stools are too short. I am 5’11. The salmon cakes were to bready, couldn’t taste the salmon. Brussels sprouts were great. Service was friendly and welcoming. Martini had to much vermouth. I would come back and try a full dinner. Music sucks. Clean atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing spot for food and drinks! My husband and I shared some bacon wrapped dates, Bruschetta, skirt steak, blend burger, bread pudding, and a variety of cocktails including the Irish coffee and a citrus martini with muddled mint. Everything we tasted was absolutely incredible and we WILL most definitely be returning. The atmosphere, service, and quality of product is on point. If you haven’t tried this place out yet… what the heck are you waiting for!!! The owner even personally came to our table to ask how we felt about everything and to see what feedback we could give him. It might be open super late, but it is far from a nightclub. Late night gourmet grub anyone?!

Do not order the Eggplant Parmesan. No flavor and tasted like it was frozen then reheated. Apple Crisp Dessert was ok…

The food was great tonight! Pork chops, burgers, and bruschetta! I will say that the French fries were all a little over cooked, however. They were too crispy and seemed to have spent too much time in the fryer. I’d much prefer a better done fry with such a good burger.

Stopped in with the wife and a friend on the recommendation of one of the wineries in the area. Blend is located in downtown Lodi. When we walked in I was not sure that we were at the right place. Looks like it is more of a twenty-something club than a restaurant. Turns out it is both. On a Thursday night is was not crowded at all. The inside looks like a trendy club with a full bar for mixed drink concoctions. Lots of neon, cool lighting, modern clean lines. The inside seating area is also along those lines. But they also have a very nice outside seating area out by the alley. The weather was very good so that’s were we ended up. As it turned out the food was outstanding and very creative. Good selection of food and wine in addition to the mixology at the bar. We started with the figs with almonds wrapped in bacon as the appetizer. A great combination! Entrees — I had the pistachio crusted Lamb which I have to say was one of the best I have had in a long time.(And I really like lamb.) My wife had the beet gnocchi which was fantastic and my friend had the eggplant which also looked very good(he said it was). Worth a try if the trendy décor does not but you off.

What a gem! We started of with the chicken flautas. They were crisp, with shredded chicken filling covered in a red sauce, a green sauce & a drizzle of sour cream. Yummy! I had the burning mandarin martini & my hubby a glass of the Cain Couvee. I had the golden beet salad which had beets, orange segments, peach, and a good sprinkling of almonds. It was dressed lightly, which I like. My husband had the mixed green salad which had walnuts and goat cheese. He finished every bite. My entrée was a perfectly seared salmon with red quinoa, corn, green beans, & cherry tomatoes. It also had a side of wilted spinach. It was very good. We topped the evening with the bread pudding for dessert. Yummy! We will definitely return!

Great new place in downtown Lodi. Has a great menu — good selection of Tapas, Salads and main entrees. Their drinks are amazing.(I suggest the Burning Mandarin or White Linen) Live music on Saturdays too!

Excellent service, fun atmosphere, beautiful staff and the food… oh the food. Salmon cakes are yummy and the calamari and flair as we’re on point. Mixologist are at their best with suggestions and promptness. A wonderfully refreshing place to visit in the city of monotonous restaurants and clubs. Thank you Michael! And please don’t forget my Partida! besos!

Am I in LA or am I in Vegas? Nope — it’s Lodi! Highly recommend Blend. It’s definitely a blend of fine dining from an eclectic selection of wines and spirits to gourmet cuisine. Looking forward to my next visit and entrée.
