Lodi Guns

Friendly staff. Had trouble finding a certain handgun around December/​January. All other shops I went to just gave me a nope don’t have it quit wasting my time response. The staff here actually searched for it and called me back. Came back later and ended up purchasing a different handgun after I spent some time looking at other models. The staff took the time and answered my questions without rushing me or pushing certain brands.

Went in today to pick up my 10/​22, got it and everything was in order. Then I saw a 308 upper receiver for sale and inquired about it. The guy behind the counter who I’d never seen before said it was a screaming deal and as it is exactly what I have been looking for, so I decided to jump on it. The tag price was $ 767.xx and from my research it retailed for $ 999. Sounds like a great deal right? Only to pull out my card and find out it rings up for $ 986.xx. I said hold on that’s not the right price. He checks again and says that one of the new guys must have marked it wrong. I ask for the price to be honored and he explains there’s nothing he can do. I inquire again saying that I want to purchase t for the price listed and again ask for the written price to be honored. He again says he has no say. While I don’t blame the guy behind the counter there should be a policy in place to protect consumers from this kind of «error» or bait and switch. I buy 3 – 4 guns a year and have purchased several from Lodi guns. This was the last time I patronize this store. Unfortunate situation handled poorly ends up losing this store a sale and a good customer. Beware of «written» prices of you decide to buy here. I’ll go elsewhere with my $ 3,000/year.

Poor customer service. Some are good and some are terrible.
I got there when there was 4 people working. Two were helping customers and two were dry firing shotguns at the front window. They could not help me because the manager wasn’t there and I was told to come back in two hours. I came back and spoke to the manager. He was of little help.
My suggestion is to go someplace else.
There was one older gentleman that I spoke to on the phone that was friendly and helpful.

Stopped in here the other day. They were very busy and had multiple people working behind the counter. I was asked several times, as was my wife, if anyone could help us and when we needed help they were right there. Selection was decent, considering being just after Christmas. I will come here again. Staff was courteous and respectful. I do not agree with prior negative reviews with what I experienced.

Came in with my family earlier this week. They were very friendly and helpful. The gentleman who helped me with stun guns and pistols was very patient and answered all of my questions.

These guys are so rude it’s unreal. I’m in LE and just seemed like he was trying to make me feel dumb the whole time. They hate answering any questions you may have, and especially hate doing the paperwork for a private sale. I don’t recommend this shop to anyone.

If there is a negative star, this business earned it. Need to send their people to customer service training. They’ve got the unfriendliest staff. They need to loosen up and stop acting like their frustrated cops who never made it through the academy. Sorry, there’s already enough retards with guns and badges out there. Taking my business elsewhere.

Worst customer service ever. It was slow for them, only one customer and me. There was two workers, and no one even bothered saying welcome or even bothered asking if I needed help. So another customer walks into the store and what do know? The worker magically asked him if he needed help with anything. Took my business elsewhere.

Worst place ever. When I first walked in there were a few people in there that the two guys who worked there were helping. After they were done helping other customers they never acknowledged me or even asked if I needed any help. When my cousin and I walked in we both felt discriminated. It was the only place in town were I found what I wanted, but after my experience i’ll spend my money somewhere else.

I bought a gun today and had a great experience. Very knowledgable salesman who answered all my questions. Thumbs up.

Awesome firearms shop! They have a great display of handguns, long guns and supplies. The staff is very knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Definitely the store you want to go to for selection and competitive pricing. Clean, well-​kept, well-​stocked store –it shows that the Owner has pride in his business.
Bonus:There is even a comfortable sitting area with tables, chairs and couch for browsing through catalogs and material. Or, if you just want to sit there and enjoy the atmosphere of gun talk!

Great gun store! The owner is an awesome guy to do business with. He provides excellent customer service and great products at very reasonable prices. His staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. If you’re in the Lodi area or even just planning on passing through, Lodi Guns is worth stopping by to get whatever you’re in the market for.
