This was our first spot in our Lodi tasting. I LOVE their 3 Girls Wine! It is a perfect –inexpensive – drinks well with anything– type of wine. We taste a lot in Paso, but we deliberately changed our location this time, just because of this wine! The service was great, the pourers were kind and very helpful about their wine and where to visit in Lodi. When we arrived, it was just my husband and I, but a few minutes later a bus pulled in with about a dozen women piling out. The pourer just smiled and pulled out some glasses. I appreciate that he(didn’t appear) irritated with the sudden rush of wine tasters. But the kicker, is the wine out of the box, let me rephrase, the delicious wine out of the box! Apparently wine stays fresher longer in this capacity and it was fun to have a box of wine on our bar, just ready for a glass at anytime!

The wines here are good, not my style or taste, most of them were either too sweet or too dry for me. Prices are very decent and not overpriced, their décor of the place is fantastic!

The wine here is very good. Unfortunately the staff can be quite rude. I suspect it is because I am a young customer compared to most but I would think I would gain a little recognition being a monthly member of their wine club for over a year. Each time I come for a tasting I leave feeling frustrated and unappreciated. The only exception is an employee named George. What keeps me coming back is the wine because it is so delicious, but even the wine will only go so far. A couple of months ago I brought by my future in-laws to a tasting and the experience was the same. The female employees were rude and made me regret inviting my in laws to this winery. Im going to cancel my membership today. Even great wine can’t undo what the horrible and disrespectful service has made me think of this winery and tasting room.

Quaint little tasting room with a nice selection and generous pours. The Zins are their best varietal. Ask about the specials!

Cannot say enough great things about this place! I just was married here in January and I couldn’t have picked a better venue! This place is small and doesn’t look like much from the street but once you get in it is beautiful! They were so great with us here we showed up a lot to look in the banquet room to get ideas and it was never a problem! Lynn Meyers is such a sweetheart and so easy going! Beautiful venue such a great wedding’! Thank you oak ridge!!! Highly recommend you go check them out!

I moved to the area 3 weeks ago. I came from the SoCal vineyards in an area quaintly filled with beautiful wineries. Coming to the Stockton area my wife and I thought our days of good wine and times was at an end. That changed thanks to our friend Regina who took us on a tour that changed my mind. Destination … Lodi and more specifically Oak Ridge Winery. Thanks to the insights of Kristina, who helped us appreciate the truly good reds(red wines) offered we enjoyed not just a good wine tasting but a great afternoon event. The wines there are great, the service fantastic and the value(read: bang for the buck) is spot on. In addition Christine(manager) broke her own personal rules to «seal the deal». Meaning she went out of her comfort zone to be a good sport in taking care of us. In the background to us was Nan who was generously caring for others with a smile. I recommend enjoying their wine tastings. I have a VIP membership because my wife and I enjoy the wine and the overall benefits their membership brings. I think most people will … including you! Should you become a member please let them know of my Unilocal! referral. :)

I love their OZV wine however do not like to come here. This is my second time here wine tasting and both were bad experiences! We had a girls trip this last Saturday and the staff was so incredibly rude. It soured our day for sure. Will. It be coming back to this winery.

We stopped by here on our way back to Reno yesterday to perhaps buy some wine. It was Father’s Day and thought it would be nice to go back with some Lodi wines. The area was not as quaint as other wineries. Old warehouse industrial area. The little tasting room from the outside was inviting. It was 4:50, and we parked. There were 3 cars in the parking lot. As we walked in another couple was just waling out. it looked nice inside, but the two women there said: «Sorry we are closed, but we are open tomorrow» My husband and I looked at each other and said«really?», and he said: «sorry I am not from around here» we got back into the car and checked my phone which said 4:53. We preceded to go down to Stonum winery where we ended up having an awesome time until about 6:15. Sorry we won’t be back to Oak Ridge, skip it.

I haven’t been wine tasting in Lodi for about two years and we decided to stop at one after we just went skydiving. We were definitely hungry but we wanted wine. We found this place on Unilocal. The wine tasting room is rather small and a bit dim. There are refrigerated candies and sodas for purchase, as well as wine goodies like t-shirts, wine stop bottles, etc. The counter was a bit busy and Christine was there with someone else assisting. The tasting was for tasting of 3 wines. Between the three of us, we mixed and matched so we each had a little taste of many wines. We tried the Old Vine Zin which is really good in Lodi. My favorite is Gnarley Head’s Old Vine Zin, a 2006, I believe. We also tried the 3 Girls(haha!), the other Zin, Pinot Noir, Champagne and the Muscatel. We bought two bottles of the champagne and my Cugino got the 3 Girls. Dirty, haha. The champagne was pretty good and for my Cugino that doesn’t like champagne, he really liked it. I do like Muscato but this one was a bit overkill. Christine was really nice and personable. She mentioned that they had a great membership offer of 12 bottles for $ 100 for the year, 30% off additional bottles and 50% off a case of wine for your birthday. Good to know.

My husband and I stopped by this winery on Sunday. It was great as there were not a lot of people in the tasting room, so we had time to visit and talk with the Tasting room person, Christine. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Christine was great, pleasant and very knowledgeable. She has the right attitude on how to treat customers. We enjoyed the wines and decided to join their wine club. We are looking forward to their upcoming events and plan to get some other friends to join and introduce them to their wines. My husband really enjoyed a couple of their sweet wines.

It wasn’t until we got up to the front of the crowded tasting room that I realized this is the winery that makes my absolute favorite OZV wine! I get a few bottles of Old Zin Vines on every Safeway trip, but it seemed a little pricier at Oak Ridge. We wandered in to consider them for their wedding venue services, but the location is a bit out of the way and in a kind of unappealing industrial area. However the tasting room was warm and cozy on a wet and rainy day. It happened to be the Lodi Wine and Chocolate weekend, so it was very busy, but we were served several pours and the ladies behind the counter were friendly and sociable. Once the crowds thinned out they gave recommendations on some other participating wineries we should also stop by before leaving the area. Very nice!

Summary: A real neat tasting room(a giant barrel!), friendly staff(though there were only two of them and there were more visitors than they could handle, so there were some long delays between pours), reasonable prices, and a good selection of wines. I went with my wife and her parents to Oak Ridge for the first time on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The tasting room is a giant barrel that actually used to store wine(there is a little paper framed on the left wall with info about its history). Inside were two very busy staff people trying to pour for a couple of groups while also handling purchase orders and shipping requests. We eventually secured some space at the tiny bar and waited for one of the servers to get us started when she was waiting for order info to go through on the computer. The tastings were free, and there were 3 whites and several reds to try, so we ended up trying quite a bit of wine once the servers freed up some more. They had a great pinot noir that was super smooth, and was on sale for less than $ 10 from the usual $ 12. Ultimately, some good wines and reasonable prices, but the stff wait was a bit of a bummer as we were nearing the end of our day and trying to get some more tastings in still.

The 5 star is for the pourer Christine who was great, and the OZV Zin, which I was totally impress considering the low price of this bottle, and they have this California Champagne Oak Ridge Reserve that I also liked. I cant wait to go back, so I can taste the other wines, unfortunately on this visit Oak Ridge winery were honoring Robert Renolds one of the partners who had just past away, so there tasting menus consist of the Robert Renolds labels and a few other selection. I find the the tasting room to be very comfortable and warmed, Christine was very helpful and knowledgeable even took the extra time to show us other wineries in town. We sign up for their wine club, I do recommend Oak Ridge winery. were from Southern California, and I do love Lodi wine.

I must say I enjoyed the wines more on this visit. Both Linda and my favorite was the Moss Roxx Ancient Zin. It was also the 2nd most expensive wine that was offered for a tasting the day we went. And with the Groupon, we were able bring two bottles of this delightful wine home. So the coupon did save me some money. I also purchased an expensive bottle of a sweet dessert wine I thought Snooky would like. This is where the problem came about. When I got home the receipt for my purchase was in the bag along with the two free bottles and the wine glasses. What was missing was the bottle of rather expensive dessert wine. I hate to think that the person pouring the wine deliberately left the bottle out not thinking that anyone would make 140 mile round trip to get it. The pourer was knowledgeable and friendly. The next day I went back to get the wine. Of course they wanted to me to wait until this person came to work. My receipt was at Linda’s and she was not home. This pourer looked surprised and then said, «oh yes, she did buy the wine. I really think the wine this time was worthy or 4 stars and the zin is worth 5 stars, but a missing wine bottle drops it back to 3 stars. It won’t stop me from coming back the next time I pass through Lodi.
